10 out of 10 for customer service

Unfortunately I didn't get to use First Steps service for dancing tuition simply because my future wife couldn't bring herself to do it, she was basically terrified and refused. I was gutted because I was looking forward to it. For service though, I cannot fault them, they were completely understanding and after paying for the lessons in full gave me a full refund straight away which I was really grateful for having a wedding to pay for. They wasn't obliged to give me a refund, that was a choice so despite not getting to have the lessons there is a very happy customer here 👌

We had a great experience with All Steps First Dance. Kiri was really helpful setting us up with times and location that suited us and connected us with Suzanne. Suzanne was such an amazing teacher and had lots of patience with us!! She tailored the dance to be exactly how we wanted it to be and every lesson was so much fun. Thank you for all your help!

Poor service, sad for the family!

I am writing this as would hate for another family, and birthday child to have the disappointment and expense I saw at a party my daughter was invited to this weekend.
We were told it was a dance party, where the kids would learn a dance and have it recorded, this sounded very exciting.
We arrived a little late so my daughter ran to the front where some of the children were following moves that were being shown to them. There was no music (I later found out that they did have a speaker but it was so small it was too quiet to be heard) the parent of the birthday girl was amazing and had to keep stepping in to try and get the children engaged in what was happening as the people running the party were not doing that at all.
I did feel extremely sorry for the parents as they had obviously paid for a service, that was not being met.
Once the First Dance girls left, the parents did some party games and all the child enjoyed it and joined in, something that was not happening before.
Such a shame for the birthday girl, as no video was taken for her to keep as promised.

Very unorganised

My children attended their cousins birthday party at the weekend, very excited to have a dancing class. Unfortunately the girls turned up late and very unorganised. They seemed lost and lacked the confidence needed to coach 8/9 year olds. They turned up with a tiny little hand held speaker that no one could here, ending up with children running wild and my sister having to step in which was a nightmare when she was trying to do all the other things a mum has to do at there child's party! I definatly wouldn't book and was gutted for my sister and neice. My children left disappointed 😞

Sadly I wouldn't recommend these for a kids party. They arrived late, i would of expected them to arrive early to meet the birthday girl, talk about favourite music, dance ect. They had no sound system just a tiny speaker which none of us could hear. So the kids had no music to dance to, they struggled to get the kids attention (quiet voices, very bewildered faces) so I had to heavily get involved on a number of occasions which nobody really wants to do when they are paying someone else to do so. There was also no filming taking place for video at the end or photo taken at the end as stated on there website. When they left we had ALL the kids dancing, playing games and alot more order restored, I'm struggling to see what I was paying for when I had to take over and completely reorganise the party, and also have none of the package content as shown on my email. On the positive side the girls were super lovely and seemed to be unaware it was a birthday party with kids. So perhaps this is why they turned up totally unorganised with no decent music system. I actually felt sorry for them, so perhaps this is an error on the company. Very disappointed, tbh I would like a full refund. Thankfully my daughter and her friends seemed oblivious so I'm hoping it didn't ruin the party for them.
Useful information (which isn't on the website) i would recommend no more than 10 kids if you do want this sort of party. Such a great idea, shame it didn't work out for us and my daughter won't get the cool video of her and her friends dancing. Sadly due to not being well equipped and being able to deal with a class of 8/9 year olds 🤷🏻‍♀️ I've seen all the positive reviews, so happy for the others on here. As I said the girls were lovely just thrown in the deep end, I think

Wedding Dance Lessons

We had 4 x 1.5 hour sessions with Cara in Oxford. She was brilliant, and got the groom over his reticence, and allowed us to have a lot of fun dancing on our wedding day :D All the guests were impressed! Would absolutely recommend to anyone considering lessons.
Thank you Cara xxx

Turned us into twinkle toes

Cassie was very helpful and enthusiastic, always listened and adapted the dance to our abilities and wishes, giving us the benefit of her experience in coming up with ideas. She listened carefully to what we wanted to do and was a patient and diligent teacher. Under Cassies guidance even someone who had never danced could put on a good show!

It was such a wonderful experience

It was such a wonderful experience. We booked Yasmin to help us with the first dance for our wedding. We're two people who don't dance but we had so much fun. I'd recommend it to anyone. We reconnected as a couple learning something new together. Yasmin made it easy and fun. She was incredible supportive throughout and sent us recordings so we could practice on our own between lessons. Initially, we thought we didn't have enough space in our home but it worked out great. Thanks to Yasmin for making our big day even more of a success.

We thoroughly recommend All Steps

We thoroughly recommend All Steps. Kiri communicated straight away, connected us with Sinead and we had such a positive experience. Sinead was excellent at choreographing a routine that matched our level of dancing ability (beginners!) guiding us on the dance, really patient, and really easy to get along with. We had so much fun and felt so proud that we had managed to learn a simple, elegant dance for our wedding. All of our guests loved watching us and we loved dancing our first dance.
Booking was really straight forward and easy. Would definitely recommend.

Rebecca is the best

We had the absolute best time with Rebecca who we booked through all steps, she was absolutely brilliant, dedicated and made the non dancer (me!) feel absolutely at ease. She came prepared with a full choreo after listening to our song but was still open to listening to our opinions and making changes based on what we liked. He joy and excitement were infectious, she was so ecstatic for us every time we got a step and readily made changes when we couldn't do something. The booking system was very simple, my only very small gripe being we weren't told we had to pay a deposit until quite last minute. Overall, I would really recommend this experience, we enjoyed every minute learning it and our guests had a blast watching, cannot thank Rebecca enough

Brilliant teacher and so much fun

Our dance teacher, Michaela, came to our house to give us two lessons for our wedding first dance. She was brilliant from start to finish. We were both a little nervous and she immediately put us at ease, and we had so much fun learning our dance routine from her. It was obvious that she had put time and thought into putting together a routine specifically for our chosen song and it was perfect for our ability level. It was one of the highlights of our wedding day and a surprise for our guests! Thank you so much for your excellent service.

Amazing service

We booked Caroline through All Steps and she was amazing! We had a rather challenging (for people who don't like dancing) first dance to preform at our wedding. Caroline took the time to break the song down into segments and teach us a few moves at a time until we could piece it all together. All the time Caroline was making it a fun an enjoyable experience and we never got stressed once!

Really disappointed with the…

Edit in reply to their response;

So you’re dishonest as well as rude?
See I’m not sure you’re aware but trustpilot can request EVIDENCE which I have AS YOU WELL KNOW. See I’m sure you remember so save your performance for the dance floor. Now I can show the evidence to trustpilot but I can also display your emails over social media can’t I, now how silly is it to lie when you know I have it in writing that I CANCELLED YOU. I cancelled you because you were messing me around. When you stated I’m not suited to your company tell everyone reading this that what you’re actually referring to the fact I’m an amputee, so you’re not only rude, a liar but you discriminate too.

Now I will send the emails to trustpilot where it clearly shows me telling you I was not going ahead and you replied saying “ok that’s fine I will tell Chloe you cancelled” and I would be looking for someone else due to your extremely rude and unprofessional manner.

Maybe in future be honest and don’t choose to lie to try and cover your tracks. The emails speak for themselves.

Really disappointed with the unprofessional attitude I received. I wanted to book and what I was looking for involved a lot of lessons and money. However after backwards and forwards with emails I was given a teachers number Chloe which I said I needed to speak to her BEFORE paying, they seem to want you to book blind with no idea of history on the person involved. I called but no answer so I sent a text. After two days I still hadn’t heard so emailed Kiri who sent me a rather blunt “she will contact you when she contacts you”. Well no thanks I think I’ll pass. I don’t think it’s that much to ask that someone has the decency to send a quick message to say they’re busy and when is a good time to talk.

The fact I’d asked for the experience of the lady multiple times and never got any information apart from her name.

Just pleased I never handed over any money. They then accused me of ringing her late at night, it was 4.30pm but I guess that’s late for some. (Rolling eyes)

Lucky escape I’d say.

Hello Danielle, just to be clear it was us that cancelled the booking with you and we didn't ask for any money as we didn't want to proceed with you. However, I am sorry you felt the way you did and that we couldn't help you. I cancelled your booking without taking any money from you because you wanted our service in a way that we don't provide. As I couldn't help you, I wished you all the best and turned down your custom. I didn't want to proceed as I knew we couldn't offer what you wanted. Every client suits a different business and in this case we weren't the right fit. I would understand posting this review if I took your money and then provided a poor service but that simply didn't happen and your account of what happened is a very unkind and unfair point of view. Fortunately all the other 50 client on this website who have provided 5 star reviews have a better understanding of what we offer and future customers can see that yours is a one off incident. I wish you all the best in finding an alternative dance company to help you.

Wonderful choice for a kid’s party!

I just wanted to pass on my sincere thanks to Elly for what was an incredibly professional dance party this afternoon at the Andover leisure centre. Elly’s manner with the children (who were very over-exited at times) was excellent and we were all thrilled with the final dance.

It’s clear that my daughter and all her friends had a lovely time and we are all very grateful to you. I will be sure to pass on ‘all steps’ details to other parents in the area who are looking for a great solution for a birthday party in the future.

Groom first dance lessons to the rescue!

Kiri you have an incredible dance teacher in Ellouise, she was absolutely amazing. I have a fear of dancing and the first dance to me, seemed like I had to climb a mountain (just to pluck you the courage to call you guys) but bloody hell I'm glad I did. Our wedding day was flawless everying fell into place but all though the day in the back of my mind I knew the first dance was coming up. Ellouise has drilled the moves with us (in just three lessons I'll add). She went away after the first lesson and came back with a plan, no..."plan" isnt good enough ... she came back with a vision after the first session. We fed off of this and Ellouise was receptive to altering a small detail here and there but actually on a few occasions came back and improved upon the alteration to make it even better than we intended it to be !

Her dedication to making our dance a success gave me the energy to overcome my "making an idiot of myself" fear, on the dance floor.

So back to the wedding day, we cut the cake and that's it...times up the DJ called for Mr and Mrs knight and we'll.... I'll let you watch the rest on the attached video. I'm asking all guests from the wedding to send all footage of the dance so I can stich it together to make a multi angle video and I'll send it to you with my blessing to do whatever marketing you want with it on one condition..... Ellouises name is plastered all over it and the fact that she got us here in just three sessions. Get this, elouise even went to the effort to catch two busses from winchester to southampton to be with us for our second lesson during the rail strike which I was amazed by especially on such a hot day !

Not only do I want to go on and learn more dancing skills my new wife and I want to take up dancing. Me. dancing !!! Who would have thought it!

I want this message to get out to as many groom's as possible in my situation I'd have just stood there like a bumbling idiot without your help.

THANK YOU SO MUCH ❣️❣️❣️

I also hope your industry now recovers after the reopening of the country following the covid pandic which I understand from Ellouise came at just the wrong time for her having just qualified ready to make her mark on the world and being forced to put her dance career on hold. Well maybe her calling in life is teaching as well as dancing as I have never felt so good about being able to dance.

All the best Al the groom. The bride will write her own review but we just watched the video over and over again star struken by what we were able to achieve in such a short time.

All the best Alan and Rachel.
