ATF is Mixing With Coolant. Big Problems!!

Bought a radiator, installed it and found that it was leaking ATF into the coolant. My coolant is supposed to be yellow and not strawberry colored. Alloyworks has been non-responsive. This is my only vehicle and I need a solution from them NOW. I will have to flush the entire engine and transmission due to their poor quality radiator.

this is order ICU11154

Caution! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Caution!! There is no customer service! I left several emails concerned that they sent me too high of a pressure radiator cap for my Jeep Rubicon. After multiple attempts they still refuse to respond. Also it was necessary to modify the mounting brackets to install.

This radiator was for a Silverado project build

Purchased this aluminum radiator for my own personal build some months ago. Upon opening the box on 11/1/25, the box was in perfect shape, the radiator, not so much. It was assembled with a bent core from the factory making mounting points misaligned by 1.5", so I E-mailed them...got ZERO response, even though Alloyworks claims a lifetime warranty against defects. NOT a professional company at all. They claim that their passion is repeat business...they lost me & I service a lot of vehicles in my shop. Buyer beware with Alloyworks, that's all I can say. I guess I was hoping for too much as far as customer service, which is non-existent with them. UPDATE 11/12/25: Purchased thru Alloyworks site on E-Bay (NOTE: This radiator was never installed to do manufacturer damage) UPDATE response to Alloyworks 11/13/25: Upon checking my E-Bay account & my receipt of purchase...the Radiator was in fact purchased from Alloyworks & I sent an E-MAIL to Alloyworks thru the E-Bay contact seller option...so you do have the info & the pics of bent radiator that I sent along with the order #. UPDATE 11/17/25: 9:18AM...Since last update on Thurs. 11/13/25, I haven't even heard crickets from Alloyworks, not even from their site on E-Bay, where I sent my original request for a replacement radiator w/ pics of factory damage to radiator they sent me. I figured I'd wait till Monday to see if they would respond=ZERO. Latest UPDATE 11/21/25: Have heard absolutely ZERO from Alloyworks on radiator warranty/replacement, hence still 1 star, even though they wanted me to upgrade my rating...I guess the truth hurts. ***(12/5/2025 UPDATE: ZERO response from Alloyworks on replacing the factory defective radiator under their Lifetime Warranty. I guess their Lifetime Warranty lasts only as long as it take your credit card to clear...) And they wanted more stars...

I was looking for a good radiator for…

I was looking for a good radiator for my 2012 Nissan Titan 5.6 liter. The original radiator had plastic tanks and started to leak . So I saw that alloyworks plus had all aluminum welded radiators with cooling fans for my application. I was excited to get this for my truck . I installed the radiator and hooked up the fans and everything thing seem good . I had one concern about the radiator cap that came on the new radiator. It was a pressure cap , the original was just a plain cap . Tried to get clarification on the cap no response to help me from customer service. You can only email them or leave a phone messages, can’t talk to anyone. So the next issue was a serous problem, overheating while setting in stop and go traffic. I live in Southern California a lot of traffic. What happens is the fans are way to light duty or underrated for my application. They don’t draw enough air over the cooling fins to keep the engine cool . Again tried to reach someone to help me correct this problem no response. All I can say is if you buy a radiator from them your on your own.

Unusable radiator returned

I purchased a radiator from Alloyworks and it has a tube on the top right that is too short to attach a hose to. I returned the radiator to Alloyworks and sent all pictures and documentation that Alloyworks requested. They have quite communicating with me and it appears I am out my purchase price of $340.68.
A very unprofessional company. Beware.

They suck

They suck! Sent email to them telling them the neck is too long that the cap goes on and the hood won’t close. They never responded back. Had to spend 200 dollars to have it cut and re welded.

Very poor and unprofessional customer service

The part came in a acceptable time I'll give them credit for that. When I open the box to inspect the part. I noticed it didn't have any wires coming out of their mating conector. I emailed customer service and in the end they simply told me to cut off the factory connector and splice my wires in. This is a really bad suggestion for a new part although it will work. Not the solution a reputable company would give. A reputable company would offer to replace or get me the right connector with the wires installed in it.

Hello Matt,
Apologies for the misunderstanding. What we meant to suggest was removing the fan connector plug (the white cap) from the wire, rather than cutting it off. We’re very sorry about the confusion. This modification should be performed by skilled users or with professional assistance.

Could of been better

1. The plate on top of the radiator is not level
2. Several Fins are pushed in
3. the bottom left brace that holds the electric fan on is not the same as the right side and it doesn't look right.

I Still have not installed it yet. Hopefully it doesn't leak.

My repair shop said this is the solution to my over heating.

I was told about this radiator from my local repair shop Lifestyle garage and they mentioned it resolved over heating issues for their customers wrangler Jeep. I ordered it and wow it was delivered in the best condition and fast. The packaging was perfect and no dents in the fins or filler tube. After install I noticed my temperature was now back to thermostat temps at 186 degrees were prior I would be running at about 235 with my Mishimoto. I can now wheel in 100 degree weather and still be at operating temperature. Thank you Allow works for an awesome product and for reducing my stress driving my Jeep.

Ordered a 3 core Aluminum radiator

Ordered a 3 core Aluminum radiator, seller says it is a direct fit, it is not. The fittings for the transmission lines were the wrong thread, and I had to modify my radiator support too make it fit. After that found that the radiator cap does not hold pressure. Purchased multiple caps and they did not seal. Found the issue is the radiator not machined properly. After all this I'm stuck with the radiator cause the seller is not responding with a return label. DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THE ITEM. No modification are done to my vehicle it is stock, also just found out after repair the radiator, that the fans that are listed as 1700 cfm is false, your fans are not as described and it is false advertising. I had to buy fans from jegs that actually work.

Thanks for your review! AlloyWorks radiators are designed to directly fit about 95% of vehicles on the market. In rare cases, a direct fit may not happen — sometimes due to prior vehicle modifications.

If you run into any issues, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team. We’re happy to assist with fitment, or provide a refund within the warranty period.

Cheap Chinese Garbage

Company sent a radiator to me that clear manufacturing flaws. While company would accept the return, they insisted that the shipping is my responsibility. The shipping is $150. Not sure about the quality of the products, it appears they take one generic radiator and modify it to fit many different vehicles. Clearly they're not doing this well

I have a copy and paste review as the last one. Gave me a junk radiator for my Tacoma. Won’t answer any calls, will respond every 3 days with a email but is just running me in circles. Doesn’t look like they will do anything for me.

Crap company

Absolute trash company sold me a defective radiator, and will not stand behind their own 1 year warranty. The radiator didn't work day one. Going through claim process with creditcard company now to hopefully get a refund. Stay away from this company. They are a 100% Chinese company, and their customer service will just try to scam you. Just spend the extra 100 bucks on an American owned radiator company. That way if you have issues you can talk to someone state side and know that they will stand behind there warranty. This is one of those you get what you paid for companies. If you are looking for a good aluminum rad, try Cold Case and Be Cool. They make quality products. Hopefully, this helps someone from making the same mistake I have.
