Customer service has been great, they were very communicative when trying to get my dogs’ scripts from our vet. Shipping has been fast and its really easy to skip an auto-ship when my little dog doesn’t need it.

Allivet has basically the same prices as everyone else when factoring regular discount codes. They ran a Black Friday special claiming to give a $50 gift "certificate" after spending $100 in prescriptions. However, that gift certificate was useless. They do not allow the certificate code along with any other discount code, but their regular prices are inflated, so I spent more through them for a certificate that is worthless.

Updating my review and adding some stars because the company did reach out and expedited the Rx which was pretty cool of them. *May* give them another shot since they are 1 of only 3 pharmacies I can buy a single vial of my cat's medication from.
Original review: No sense of urgency when it comes to prescriptions. I was sent an email saying it was approved by vet and would be shipped in 24 hrs. It's been over 24 hrs and still pending fulfillment. The FIRST time this happened I kind of brushed it off because it happened during that crazy winter storm that took over the country. But now that it's happened TWICE, I know it's not a fluke, and that's just how they do business. I used to work for a mail order pharmacy, and maybe it's different with people meds, but we weren't allowed to just let meds sit there for days, we had to clear the line at night. One would *think* it would be the same with pet meds but I guess not.

First order processed fine. I order months at a time. My auto subscribe was due on Feb 15th. My last order was November I believe, so they have had it in their system, what I need, for 4 months!
They email 14th to confirm. Then email me on 15th to say it's processing. Then on 17th i get an email, half my perscription is on backorder.
They could have emailed me, ya know, 2 weeks prior to tell me this so I could get my prescriptions to a vet that had stock. The current prednisolone shortage has been going on for months... and the fact that allivet did nothing to secure the meds or INFORM their customers of the issue is beyond unprofessional. It is down right deadly.
Talked to support...even thou my status says "pending fulfillment" and "not yet shipped", they CLAIM it was already shipped. They did give me a coupon that covered 80% of cost. So I moved this up to 2 stars from 1.
THEN... i checked the listing for prednisolone, and moved this back to 1star. There is no button to notify me when it's in. IN FACT, it says it's IN STOCK! So... now... even if I put another order in, I won't get the free shipping on auto subscribe because only needing the 1 pill is under required amount.

I like that I'm kept updated on my orders and also when a renewal for a prescription needs to be authorized. Shipments are always prompt and costs are extremely comparable. Lower than purchases directly from my veterinarian.

No longer receiving an invoice with the Pet Meds. I have to contact the company each time I receive the RX and request an invoice to be able to submit the cost to insurance. The website only provides the order acknowledgement for the customer which will not work for insurance.

I transferred my dogs presciption for Nexguard Plus Heartworm and flea, tick and etc. to Allivet because I always got it late at the other place, which incidentally got it from you anyway! So I decided to lose the middle man and go straight to you!! I've been extremely happy and so is Grayson!!

Would not honor a coupon that I later realized when I got my visa bill was not added at checkout. Customer service would not honor nor give me any discount on my almost $200 order. They did however offer 5% off on future auto ship orders. Everyone gets that discount so they really offered me nothing. They just lost a customer who was planning on getting all my dog’s meds, supplements and food from them.

I was skeptical about Allivet just because it's online ordering my dogs medication but after receiving my dogs first scripts i felt better and the communication is GREAT! I had a small problem and didn't ask for anything I just wanted them to know and maybe fix the problem and they tried their best to make it right. They went above and beyond! I am very happy with Allivet so far. I've only been using them about two months but I have high hopes they will keep taking care of my dogs needs
