The overall experience was good
The overall experience was good, and the price fair. However the online experience could be improved. When needing to edit small amounts of detail, their site required you to go through and check and also re-enter all of the car and driver detail, all I needed to change was the milage. Secondly when coming to payment, their website would not allow me to enter the card expiry date when accessing the web site on my phone. I had to ensure all detail was saved and the use my laptop to get their portal to work.

Generally a good app on the phone. There were a couple of unexpected bugs like the mobile phone number being populated with a random number and an email address that wasn't anything I recognize. What could possibly go wrong! 😕

Absolutely terrible service
Absolutely terrible service, wanted to charge me over £360 changing my home address during a move. Terrible wait times for customer service and very unhelpful, would 100% consider looking elsewhere for car insurance.

Allianz give you no option to chat to…
Allianz give you no option to chat to anyone if any changes need to be made. The online instructions are inaccurate and their online chat facility is shocking, unable to answer the questions and then keep you waiting for over 40 mi urea whilst promising an advisor will be with you in 5 minutes. They need to have an easy accessible phone line

Impossible to talk to human being
Impossible to talk to human being - I had my home and contents insurance with Allianz for the last year. It’s been up for renewal but I didn’t receive the letter with the new premium and the tile on the app was down - this resulted in the most irritating and frustrating morning trying to communicate with ridiculous ChatBots, automated email replies and out of order phone numbers. In the end I cancelled my insurance as I didn’t want to commit without knowing the price.
