The only issue preventing me giving 5 stars was the way my parcel was delivered. The shoe box had no additional protection so when received it looked like it had been sat on and the paper sticker seal... See more

At Allbirds, we believe in making better things in a better way. We look to nature for inspiration, crafting footwear and apparel from materials like merino wool, eucalyptus tree fibre and sugarcane. As a certified B Corp, we’re committed to making sure we tread lighter on the planet. Our mission is to reverse climate change through better business, but we know that this global problem can’t be solved by one company alone. We believe that collaborative development and the sharing of technologies will help protect the planet for future generations. We choose to share knowledge and our proprietary materials such as our sugarcane-based EVA foam, which we open-sourced for all to use, including competitors.

The prefect pair of trainers DO exist
The prefect pair of trainers DO exist!
Everything about the process, the price and the trainers was / is perfection.
I absolutely love Allbirds!
Good shoes, bad customer service
I really like the Allbirds shoes.
However, I have recently had an issue with a pair bought last year and have emailed their help email address. Twice.
No response whatsoever. Not even an acknowledgment of receipt.
It’s been over ten days now. I’m not impressed with the after sales service. Hence the score.
Ordered Items that Never Came, Refused to Refund
Ordered shoes on March 18. It's not March 29 and they have still not come. I email the company and they tell me to wait "another week." Absolutely unacceptable. Won't be dealing with the company again.
PLEASE BRING THE OLD FITS BACK!
PLEASE BRING THE OLD FITS BACK! Seriously, what happened?! Allbirds used to be my go-to brand for my bunions, I literally wore them every single day as they (specifically the Wool Runners and Loungers) were the ONLY shoe that I could comfortably walk in all-day everyday. Now they’ve changed all the fits and all their shoes have an extremely strange and uncomfortable fitting — for their Wool ranges, insides / uppers are no longer made of wool (key for comfort), only the outer are (what’s the point??); narrow and tight in the front while being lose in the back; not to mention the entire shoe is just extremely stiff. They USED TO BE THE MOST COMFORTABLE — but NOW THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE SHOES I’VE EVER WORN. I really hope they bring back the old fits because their new ones are UNWEARABLE.
I have never written a bad review however
I have never written a bad review, I always get in contact with the company to resolve any issues. This is written to ensure you are aware of the very bad customer service offered by Allbirds when I slipped a few times on their waterproof shoes on a variety of surfaces.
I bought their expensive waterproof shoes only to find that when they are wet they are dangerously slippery.
The final response from customer services (even though I explained the genuine problem in detail) was that they encourage customers to pass their shoes on or sell them on.
In essence, pass the problem onto another unsuspecting individual because they will not do the right thing by you as a customer.
Finally caved and bought a pair of tree…
Finally caved and bought a pair of tree runners. After wearing them daily I totally get the hype.
Very good strong shoes and well sourced…
Very good strong shoes and well sourced materials. They lasted 2 year of continues hard use.
Just wish the soles had better profile. This is the first item that has failed on me. They don't truly offer any grippier soles it seems.
BEWARE of FIT on Golf Dashers ..I have 3 pairs of all birds all size…
I have 3 pairs of all birds all size 8.5 Med . They FIT true to size , are stylish and comfortable but they wear out faster than u would expect .
The 4th pair was Golf Dashers , same size. It has a unique compressive "sock" over the top / dorsum of the foot that is unadjustable and too tight for the labeled siz shoe .
I had skin abrasions on the top of both feet after walking 18 holes with regular socks also worn. I bought them and did not wear them for a while so I was outside the return window .
U think they might work with U but they do NOT .
Bad customer experience
At first it might sound great that a shoe is out of stock - it must be incredible, right? But once months go by, and it's still out of stock, that is just a bad customer experience. This was made worse when I contacted "customer services", which did not register my complaint as a complaint at all. Like another reviewer pointed out, they keep switching who handles your email chain. None of them are interested in giving you a refund and they will not care about the trouble you have gone through as a result of their company logistics and operations. I already considered never shopping there again because of the stock issue but after speaking with them I am certain they will not get another penny from me.
Allbirds doesn't stand behind their sneakers
I purchased a pair of Allbirds Tree Runner Go sneakers back in April, wore them no more than 10 times, and the white sole is splitting/cracking right at the area where the sneaker creases as you walk. I reached out to Allbirds via the chat on their website, and the agent basically told me there was nothing they could do, left me high & dry. All I can tell you my similar pair of Nike sneakers that I have worn all over for 5 years haven't shown such a defect in their sole. I guess I'll NEVER buy Allbirds again, because besides their sneakers not lasting infrequent use, they refused to stand behind their product.
Ordered on Tuesday
Ordered on Tuesday - on the doorstep when I got up today (Thursday). Wow! Great service!
Didn't give five stars because the colour was a bit different from the colour in the promotion material. This shouldn't happen.
First I’ll start by saying I ordered…
First I’ll start by saying I ordered shoes from them years ago and I liked those and enjoyed the experience. This new version of allbirds I ordered from is a different story. First it took over 2 weeks to even receive my order. Then the shoes I did receive were dirty and scuffed as though someone wore and returned them previously. I reached out to support to ship my return back. It took 2 weeks to receive a label and it was only received once I threatened to contact my bank and dispute the charge. They cited a technical issue on their end but it’s pretty clear they were just ignoring my request to return.
Fast forward another 3 weeks and they only refunded part of my money, saying the other portion is non refundable on returns. What a scam of a company this has become…
Good Shoes Bad Service
They've sent me two different sizes. My left shoe was an eight. My right shoe was a seven and a half. I assumed the chat line would be the quickest way. It took 2 and 1/2 days for them to try to find a solution through their "chat line". That's when they informed me that they were sold out of that color in both a seven and a half and an eight. Their solution was pick a different color. No discount. No. Why don't you keep those and will send you another pair free? Just me sitting on a chat line for 2 days. Waiting for them to tell me there's nothing they can do.
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. I’ve purchased 4 pairs from them. This last pair happened to be extremely uncomfortable and had no support. It made my feet sore for two days. I tried to return it or at least get some credit back to my account but they refused. Sad they don’t take care of normal customers due to greed.
Beautiful shoe not for wide widths
Womens Steider (Explorere) . Beautiful shoe. Definitely not for anyone with slightly wide feet. Have multiple pairs of all birds. This is the only model that is very tight for wider feet I opted to keep these as I modified the width. In order to wear them I had to remove the shoelaces put a form inside that stretched them out for over a week. Now they fit well because mine are dark green, you can't even really tell the shoelaces aren't there.. now I love to shoe and the fit
