Visited Allan’s Furniture today with a view to replacing some lounge and bedroom furniture, I was very pleased with the way that both Sales staff (Tom & Archie) attended me in the Upholstery and Bedroom department, I’ve taken sizes and intend to call back early next week after making the goods fit in my intended space, Great Service! Bought a sofa on 28 October. We were told 3-4 weeks for delivery and we would be contacted when it was available. After 4 weeks had passed I telephoned to be told the sofa was in and it would be delivered the following week. On delivery the sofa was obviously damaged. I contacted the showroom the following day and asked for a replacement. I was told it wouldn't be changed as an upholsterer had to look at it and that would be arranged. After waiting a week I again phoned the showroom to be told the upholsterer had been contacted and would be in touch. 2 days later the upholsterer phoned to arrange a visit the following week. I asked him when he had been told to contact me and he said the previous day. The upholsterer arrived on the day arranged and after reviewing the sofa agreed with me that the frame was twisted and a replacement was needed and he would advise the showroom to arrange it. A further week passed and I again had to contact the showroom to arrange for the uplift of the damaged sofa and delivery of the replacement. Over a week later the damaged sofa was uplifted and the replacement delivered which was in a worse condition than the first. The delivery driver said he would contact the showroom and arrange for this one to be uplifted. I said I just wanted it gone and my money refunded. This was now the Monday of the week before Christmas and despite numerous telephone calls there was no response. Finally in the week after Christmas I went to the showroom and arranged for the sofa to be uplifted on 5th January. No-one turned up so I again visited the showroom on 6th January to be told it would be collected that afternoon (which it was) and once back in the warehouse I would receive my refund. A further week passed and I telephoned and spoke to a lady in the office who had no knowledge of the return and following a lengthy discussion advised that I should come back to the showroom so that my refund could be paid back to my card. I went that day and the refund was processed but didn't return to my account for 3 days. I have used Allan's numerous times in the past but following this experience will not be back.
Terrible company, staff and service. They lie and take no blame for their poor service and fitters.

He kept us in the loop at all times when the repair was being carried out.
Great service in this shop, Tom was great gave us advice not a pushy salesman. Left us to look round, seen what we wanted dining chairs, got Tom back to do the sales bit. He told us about the product we were buying and confirmed our order, advised about insurance, delivery if we wanted to take them. Told us they would be in touch when ready for delivery. Simple no hassle service from Tom and Allan’s Furniture would recommend.
My husband, son and I went to view a suite and Archie was very helpful, polite, accommodating,we were looking to buy a leather suite and he explained the pros of buying a leather suite. We then went next door and met a gentleman called Tom who was also very friendly, helpful and accomodating because we needed bedroom furniture and ended up getting a really good deal from him on a bedroom cabinet and coffee table and the suite which closed the deal Both men were very professional,efficient
Tom was most helpful in choosing a carpet. He was very pleasant to deal with also. Would highly recommend Allans.
Visited store 5th Sept to look for bedroom furniture, thanks to Tom we got furniture we required. Tom explained the different options we could get with the wardrobe and matching drawers. Tom offered good price and would recommend him to anyone who visits store.

I bought a corner sofa group. At about 10 months old the leather started peeling. I reported to the store and they contacted the manufacturer who sent someone out to examine the damage. The technician said it was due to bodily fluids touching the seat and not a manufacturing fault. They offered a repair as a goodwill gesture. I reluctantly agreed. The damaged part of the sofa was picked up from my home on 6th June 2025. I have chased the repair up allowing what I think is a reasonable time. After a few attempts to contact them the store have said that the person who does this kind of repair is off due to personal issues.
It is now exactly 12 weeks since they picked the damaged part up and no indication of when it will be returned. I am now in the process of going to the small claims court after calling the company today only to be told they need to contact the manufacturer.
I visited Allan’s on 1st August and purchased a suite. This is the third suite I have purchased from this company. I have also used their flooring dept. I cannot fault this company over many years. Great service from Tom on the day of my visit. What a friendly family service

Tom at the store on Wallace Street in Glasgow was more than efficient in his job when my friend and I went in to look for a 3+2 leather suite. My friend was in crutches so therefore not very mobile. Tom was very considerate about her situation. Tom’s service was excellent we could not fault him. Would recommend Tom and the store to anyone who is looking for good quality furniture.

I would give fewer stars if I could.
I ordered a table and was told it would take 4-6 weeks to arrive. We are now in the 9th week, and I still haven't received it.
I called the shop twice and was given different excuses. I tried to cancel the order, but I was told you cannot cancel; seemingly, the small print stated this.
I would think twice about shopping at AFW, as you wait over your expected delivery date. Also, shop around, they are actually expensive compared to other furniture stores. The Designer Rooms have better quality goods at a fraction of the price.

Visited this place a few weeks ago and had a lovely customer experience speaking to Archie. We were not ready to place order this particular day. Came back today and Tom was extremely patient and helpful. I had several items to order and he was great explaining everything to me and double checking everything before placing the order. I also spoke with Allan himself and Gerard who thanked me for my business. I felt very at ease ordering from Allan's and will be back very soon to order more items.

My sister and I visited Allan's Furniture looking for a new mattress. She is a bit disabled and right way the staff were considerate and friendly towards us. In particular, Tom was most attentive and helpful in helping her chose a comfortable mattress for her needs without any pressure whatsoever.
