Will always recommend Alert driving school!
I learnt to drive with Jay over 2 years ago now and still recommend him to everyone I know who needs to find an instructor. His approach to teaching is second to none, his friendly demeanour and personable character make every lesson enjoyable and something to look forward to. I never felt silly when making mistakes or felt that I had to apologise for every small error I made as Jay ensured the environment he taught in was conducive to my learning and was encouraging throughout the entire process, mistakes included!
I’ve had a few different instructors and can attest to Jays ability to make the lessons fun, efficient, and great value for money. Will always recommend Alert driving school!

Great value for money!
Great value for money!
No lesson was ever wasted, I was never pushed for extra lessons that I didn’t require and was encouraged to book my test when ready. Brilliant driving school!

So encouraging and genuine!
There is no driving school like Alert Driving School. From my first lesson to receiving my pass certificate, I knew not a single penny was going to waste.
My instructor Jay, was so patient and elaborate in helping me overcome my mistakes and grow in confidence. He really tailored his lessons to my learning style, drawing diagrams for me and showing demos of what I should be doing.
As one of the many hopeful drivers who had to deal with COVID test cancellations, I felt a great sense of support and security knowing that Alert Driving School would work with me to be test ready as soon as it was safe and possible.
Wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else!

Amazing experience. High recommend.
AmazIng experience! Jay was very patient with my sessions despite failing 4 times and passing on the 5th! Good teaching approach and made me feel there was no such thing as a silly question. So I was comfortable with asking for my own knowledge. I recommend alert driving school highly.
