My Honest Review of Aldi I used to really love shopping at Aldi, but lately I’ve noticed some disappointing changes. The quality of the vegetables has gone down — many times I find produce tha... See more

MAGGOTS CRAWLING IN BROCCOLI !!!
Purchased some broccoli today from my local store in Weeke (Winchester) only to cut it up and find maggots crawling around
This has completely put me off and I’m disgusted
Lax about safety again
I recently wrote Aldi about their cart sanitation procedure at the Apple Valley, MN location, and they corrected it. I commend them for that, but I noticed on my last visit, that the safety precautions have become lax again. This location is no longer placing purchased items back in the same cart the customer used to gather them, and they are once again requiring shoppers to handle coins to use their carts. I also observed an employee spraying the carts, presumably with a cleaning agent, but without even separating the individual carts. All the carts were pushed together so the cleaning agent couldn't possibly contact each individual cart. It seems, at this location, they are more concerned about the appearance of safety than actual safety for shoppers.

IN THE PAST ALDI WINE ONLINE HAS BEEN GOOD AND I HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM. THIS TIME HAS BEEN HORRENDOUS. ORDER
33806585 20TH MARCH. ONLY FIVE BOTTLES WERE DELIVERED IN THE SIXTH COMPARTMENT OF THE BOX WAS A ROLLED UP ALDI MAGAZINE. ONE MISSING BOTTLE! THE BOX HAD OBVIOUSLY BEEN TAMPERED WITH AND RESEALED. (I HAVE KEPT THE BOX) PHONED MANY TIMES KEPT WAITING 30 MINUTES CUT OFF. TRANSFERRED BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS WHILE I WAS SPEAKING. I REQUESTED THE MATTER BE LOOKED INTO, I WAS TOLD SOME ONE WOULD GET BACK TO ME WITHIN 48 HOURS NO ONE DID. TWO WEEKS LATER MORE PHONE CALLS TO THEM ONCE AGAIN MY CALL WAS TRANSFERRED WHILE I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF A SENTENCE THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN VERY UPSETTING. THEY NOW SAY THEY WILL REFUND ME FOR THE MISSING BOTTLE, I THINK THEY BELIEVE THAT'S GENEROUS!!

Aldi in Northfield Birmingham is an appalling shop. The floors are filthy and the shelves are virtually empty. It was nearly empty tonight and I can understand why. Avoid!!!!!!
Top tier
In-store shopping experience is amazing. Employees here are astonishing. I recommend.
I CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS!!
I have been doing Instacart shopping for others since onset of Covid -19. The Aldi’s on Olive Street near Highway 270 has been a favorite. 90% of staff is very helpful, while running their butts off stocking shelves. It is a small store with an amazing amount of grocery selection on hand. Their produce is always fresh and inexpensive. So many items are comparable to namebrand. And much cheaper. Even the name brands are much cheaper. I was new using Instacart, but the cashiers are super helpful and don’t rush you. During this these tough times it would make even more sense for you to try them first and save yourself a lot of money. If they don’t have something you want, THEN go to your regular grocery store. You do have to bag your own groceries, bags are seven cents. Carts are usually $ .25, refundable. That has been waived recently. But they have many free boxes you can put your groceries in at no charge. Kudos to these employees helping us, while putting their health at risk. Shop early in morning for best selection. When today’s stock is gone, you have to wait for tomorrow’s truck. Mary Inman St John, MO.

I love their Blue Ribbon VARIETY PACK ice cream. But Zi don’t see it in the store any more. I love the organic fruits and vegetables selections. I love the family pack all natural chicken and ground beef. I love wild caught fish. I wish that they stop buying fish from China though

Aldi's = Amazing Value!!
I love this store! I love the prices, I love the food, and I love walking out of the store with a shopping cart full for about $100! It really makes it hard to shop anywhere else, after shopping here. I also love that it isn't a huge store. (I prefer a smaller grocery store anyway.) The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because you can't always find what your looking for or it may be out of stock the next time you visit. But other then that, I highly recommend if your on a budget, dont mind generic labels, and want to eat great tasting food! P.S. Their pizzas are amazing too!
Great prices; I love this store!
I have been in the location of Aldi for groceries once, and it's great! Just remember to use a quarter for your carts, and if you don't have a quarter, just use the top of your house key! Bring some bags to put your items in; Aldi is based in Germany, and the German culture frowns upon paper and plastic bags. The prices are wonderful as well! I will go to Aldi again!
