Heard back today, wanting the same info again. 4 times I sent it.tomorrow, my solicitor steps in along with Lloyds and Trading standards, costs will b approx £2000 for a £199 refund, they also loose around 20 old people we shop 4 will be moving it all to Morrisons, will cost them far more !! !
UPDATE 4 several weeks later, I had a call saying they have the unit back and would I like vouchers as refunds are tiking up to 28 days, how many refunds are they doing !!
I said no I want a refund, I am guessing it has now been around 28 days and nothing, I contacted them and got the reply, they dont know what is happening and offered online vouchers again !! I told them no and I will now answer Lloyds credit card email to inform them to investigate, I am also informing my solicitors to go ahead with a money claim, and they can pay all the fees, no way out of it as they told me they have the unit back would refund, absolute disgrace, I will not ammend this review, people need to know what a bad company this is to deal with.'
the date is 22nd july 22. as I said before avoid buying form them unless it only has a 1 year gtee, or you can consume a product or wear it. so far no email reply from earlier today

i FINALLY some time later had a call and email saying a collection had been arranged, it has been a while but finally got picked up, emails are a waste of time even though I have a contact name, I sent 4 emails to them not reply, they now have the unit back so sent another email in fact two, so far no reply no refund, I can see this going to court now, will give them another week.disgusting !!

well now days later, around 2.5 weeks now or so, I still can not return the faulty pressure washer, I had a call from Aldi asked for a copy of the invoice, and was told they will deal with it, but also to send it to the warranty company in AUSTRIA !! so I did, I have sent it to them 5 times, can they not bloody read well today a email from warranty Co.Hooray !! ,no it just said "can you send a copy of the invoice" I wont tell you what my reply was, Saturday a nice aldi guy rang, told him what had happened , Aldi were due to ring today Monday, Of course they didnt, he said he would ring today and if no further advanced he would collect and refund, only problem, he didnt ring either, so going to raise court action tomorrow, enough is enough what a disgusting way to run a company!!

2.5 years ago shortly after the purchase of a jet sprayer, we both became ill with covid, my partner was within and an of dying but survived and is still with mutlple life threatening illnesses, some from the ventilators of 6 weeks I too am still very unwell. i tell you this as I did not get to use the jet washer for ages.
It has been used only 4 times. today being one of them it has explosions that happen so loud my neighbours came round to see and cuts out also.
I called customer services, didnt get much of a result ,only a number that was no good.
I went to our local store they know us well , we buy everything from them, the manager said he would contact customer services, it was the worst customer services he had experienced, on the phone I guess for 45 minutes, he was so helpfull, which I appreciated. he was going to raise a complaint, we really got no where, he gave me a number from them which this one said it was unable to connect, he tried you again, I rang again and got a chargeable number, which my phone can not dial it 0080092583788 it is an international number 40p a min
this is now three hours plus in all trying to get a result.
we as I said buy all our food and many other producs from you, and recently a twin bench flatebed sander. So now I have a petrol jet washer that would appear I am going to get no help with, £206 cost, I think this poor, when I buy something ,as far as I am concerned the contract is with the retailer not in some other company in another contry that my phone wont even ring.
The unit needs to be returned for a refund .....easy, no not with Aldi,

I bought a television through their online shop which proved to be faulty
I was able to take it back to a store for a full refund.
My gripe is that although they credited my card the money was not visible on my account. Customer services told me that it would take a week to show
I can't understand how when paying it shows on my account straight away why it should take so long to see it back again
