Worst purchase I've made

Honestly a disaster and waste of money. Took over 3 weeks to arrive, quality was terrible, says hassel free return but doesnt say you need pay to send it back to China and any customs fees. Offered a 10%/20%/30% refund for a product that is such poor quality and doesnt fit so ultimately im left with something totally useless as they dont have standard return process in place nor warn you about it. Feels very much like a scam. Would avoid at all costs.

Terrible

Terrible. It has taken more than 2 weeks to receive my shipment with very little communication. I just went on to track my package and it brings me to their website. I will never purchase from them again. Not even sure if I have been ripped off or not yet.

Customer Service FIVE *

I totally agree with the reviewer here about customer support rep James Holden.

I ordered a pair of pants; they fit larger than I liked (my fault) I contacted customer support about returning/exchanging them for a smaller size.

Within 2 days, I was contacted, told to order my new size and just pay a shipping fee, and not to bother returning the original pair of pants.

So, I donated the larger pair to a friend of mine and only paid the shipping fee for a new pair.

I am not sure why all the negative reviews of this company.

I love the fit, the fabric, the color, and the customer service.

NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM

NEVER, EVER ORDER FROM ALDEN AND ASH. Read the Trustpilot reviews first, I wish I had. No one answers emails and you can't track your order. Nearly 2 weeks now and still nothing delivered, despite claiming 'express delivery'. Their response on here to send an email to the one they supply, it is a joke. I've had one reply informing me to get back in touch if I don't hear anything. I have tried several times and they have gone 'off radar'. Nearly £300 spent, not a single ite delivered and no email response. Looking at my legal options now, thankfully bought using Visa.

I ordered a pair of pants and when they…

I ordered a pair of pants and when they arrived I realized that I had ordered the wrong item. It was totally my fault. I reached out to customer support to see what could be done and I worked with James on the exchange. I received customer service that I didn’t even think existed anymore. He was able to look up my order history and get me the correct style and color that I wanted. I was moving from the USA to Italy during this exchange and he was able to have the replacement mailed directly to Italy. His was very diligent in keeping me in the loop on the status of the exchange. He is truly an asset to your company. I received the pants and look forward to continuing shopping with your company in the future!!! It was more than five star service.

Avoid!! Zero stars at best

If I could give zero stars I would. Clearly a cheap Chinese product. I ordered pants size L and M to ensure I got the right fit. When I wanted to return them nobody bothered responding. Terrible product and customer service

SCAM: Does not send anything, takes your money and runs.

I placed an order on 9/28/25, received an email a few days later assuring me that even though the website said my order hadn’t shipped, that the order was on the way. It has been almost a month and I have still not received my order. The site states 3-5 day shipping. I have sent multiple emails asking about the status and the reply’s I get say that there is an issue with the fulfillment center. After 3 weeks, I asked for a refund, since they have not sent my order yet, and I am told they cannot issue me a refund.

This site/company is a complete scam and does not send any items after that have been ordered. They cannot fulfill their orders and refuse to issue refunds for not sending the products ordered. Don’t be fooled like I was.

Extremely Dissatisfied with My Order and Your Customer Service

Dear Alden & Ash Team,

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment regarding my recent order experience with your company.

I accidentally ordered the wrong size and contacted your customer service less than five minutes after placing the order to request a cancellation. To my surprise, I was told that my order was already being processed and that cancellation was impossible. This explanation makes no sense, as no order can realistically be fully processed within such a short time frame.

Even worse, I then waited over a month and a half for my order to be shipped. The package was only sent after I opened a PayPal case — which is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism and respect for your customers.

Now that I finally received the order, I am being told that I have to pay 100% of the return costs (to China) myself and that no return label will be provided. This is absolutely unreasonable, especially considering that I tried to cancel immediately and your team ignored my request.

This entire experience has been extremely disappointing, and your handling of the situation is unacceptable. I expect a full refund and a free return for this order. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter further through PayPal and share my experience publicly.

I urge you to review my case and respond as soon as possible.

TERRIBLE COMPANY- STAY WELL CLEAR!!

The Quality of there products are terrible!! Returning any products is beyond a joke - they encourage you to take a 30% refund & insist you keep the product you ordered as a gesture of good will - they then state that if you still want to return a product it’s going to cost around £30 because it needs to be returned to China & that means custom duties & handling fees.

STAY WELL CLEAR & DON’T GIVE YOUR SELF THE STRESS!!!!

SCAMMERS

Ordered a shirt from their website (not knowing they were located in China). It arrived and looked nothing like what was advertised. They first offer me a 50% refund to keep it. I refused and asked for a return label which they also refused to give me and said I could get a full refund if I shipped back the item. I then paid $32 to ship it back. I decided to write them a 1 star review and they then said they could only give me a refund if I took down the review. I took it down and then they claimed they could only give me a 50% refund based on their policy! ABSOLUTE SCAM ARTISTS, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Does anyone know how to contact this company apart from E Mail. I purchased a pair of trousers and sent them back via recorder delivery (At my expense) and i have chased and chased them asking when i can expect my refund three weeks later and nothing (Alden & Ash my order No being ALD5663) all in all trousers i don't even have cost me with return nearly £70. This is hard earnt money and i am feeling totally frustrated with such poor service. My advise would be to avoid this company at all cost.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. I had ordered some pants and instead received a shirt, big difference. Reached out to customer support and got a fast response. Said to keep the shirt and they’d ship the correct order, fine. The tracking never moved for over 2 weeks, then I checked again. My package will not be delivered due to counterfeit postage?! I want answers

Unprofessional

I have to say im very disappointed after finally getting my order late.. a pair of Navy Blue chino's did NOT go past my feet meaning, that they are that tight i couldnt pull them past my ankles. It seems to me that there is no elastic been allocated to the bottoms of them (No stretch ). After emailing them they did tell me that they would get back to me but not had anything since to say otherwise??

I won't be ordering anything again and ill be making sure my review gets to other customer in the future

Trying to return a faulty item is a nightmare

My husband ordered 2 pair of trousers both the same size but different colours, one pair was the perfect fit and the other one seemed 2 sizes smaller. Trying to return this item is a nightmare. They obviously don't read the reasons to return as they keep offering me a % refund to keep them. Why would we keep an item that has been sized incorrectly and doesn't fit. They constantly ignore emails and expect the customer to pay for the return when the item is sized wrong ? Absolutely awful, considering we are a new customer. Still waiting for them to reply to my latest email regarding them paying for the return since its a faulty item and in the refund policy it does state that they would provide a voucher for the return.

Product Never Shipped; They Refuse to Refund; Have to Dispute Charge

Update: Alden and Ash refuses to refund me or even provide an expected shipping date after charging me immediately over 2 weeks ago for a product I was never sent. Now, I have to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

I placed my order two weeks ago and I haven’t received it or confirmation that it shipped. I want a refund since I never received my product.
