Location near the town made access to shops and restaurants easy. Cooking facilities meant we could enjoy the local produce.
Comfortable bed. Sofa not that comfortable.

Lovely flat, everything needed at hand, a great location for amenities, food drink etc and a good base for out and about trips and car parking a good bonus mind you the weather did help beautiful 👍

Lovely cottage beautifully presented very relaxing. So close to Aldeburgh. Snape Orford Sutton Hoo Dunwich Heath Southwold. Fabulous kitchen for keen cooks Pretty garden for coffee and wine o’clock moments. Thoroughly recommend have been three times now

We booked a property at very short notice and the process was very efficient. We then stupidly left something behind which the team retrieved and sent back to us. Very good service!

Magenta cottage- Aldeburgh
A wonderful stay at this amazing cottage on the seafront. Wonderful accommodation and divine kitchen. The sea view is so special. My fifth visit and will be back!

The booking process, information and support were excellent.
The apartment was perfect for our needs and furnished to a very high standard. The location at the centre of Thorpeness is perfect, overlooking the mere and the beautiful sunsets. The beach is less than two minutes walk away, it is beautiful, peaceful and very clean; Our daily walks into Aldeburgh along the beach path were just perfect.

This is our 5th visit to No 17 is ideal for us, Every think is what we require. We hope to return next year, all being well.

Company respond quickly . We had an issue which I brought to their attention upon our departure which the addressed quickly.

Aldeburgh coastal cottages team were very helpful with our recent stay at The Quarter Deck.

Good value, amazing location, high quality kitchen and bathroom, surprisingly spacious. Parking a bit tight but suitable for a short/medium length car.

When we arrived at the accommodation we found that the patio door wouldn’t lock. And as such we didn’t feel able to leave anything in the accommodation whilst out. We raised this and were told it would be looked at, however, when we returned later that evening it was still unable to be locked. This was very unsettling and despite chasing we never received an answer about why this wasn’t resolved. Luckily we were only staying one night, but this was not good in terms of security. We also felt the overall cleanliness wasn’t great, lots of cobwebs and hairs in the bathroom, dirty glasses in the cupboards etc. There was also a big yellow stain on the mattress when we stripped the bed - Overall not the greatest experience.

Booking with Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages was very easy. I booked by phone for our first visit and we enjoyed Sea Cloud lodge so much l came home and re booked for 2027 online, which again was very easy to do.
The location of the lodge was perfect with a lovely walk into Aldeburgh. The lodge had everything needed for a good comfortable and relaxing holiday.

The cottage was fantastic, finished to a high standard and perfect for our stay. Location is great, close to the beach and the high street. Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages were so easy to deal with and very attentive all through booking and our stay. Would definitely book with them again.

Easy to book with, property as described, was able to have entry early as they rung to say it was all ready.

Were very helpful and accomodating when an issue occurred. Had a great stay at Thorpeness and would would recommend them to all looking to stay in Aldeburgh and surrounding areas.

the house was as described on the website and from its reviews. Which was good. A great plus for us was that it was quiet and had parking spaces. Well equipped and good to have an en suite. We Have used this Company before and always found the staff very helpful and cheerful and contactable. Will use them again.
