Renewing wasn't super easy

The insurance of our properties had changed slightly, but trying to explain that to support person proved difficult. We never felt like she understood, so were worried if we were insured properly. We eventually got there, but it took 3 phones calls from Australia to sort it out, plus quite a few emails, so it was a more difficult than we would have liked.

I often put things aside to deal with…

I often put things aside to deal with nearer the time and forget , but I am always contacted to remind me so that my insurance does not run out and they are always helpful and friendly.

Customer service is amazing.

Customer service is amazing.
I have only had my motorhome hire business one year, and the staff at Alan Boswells have been there for me every step of the way. Nothing is too much trouble always there to answer any question no matter how trivial. Hence I renewed my policy with them.

Very poor service

I have raised a claim over a week now and they haven't even initiated tenant eviction process. As a landlord everyday is additional loss of rent which this company doesn't understand.

Unacceptable rises in insurance premiums

Boswell per se did well and were helpful , but the criticism is focused on a very high increase in household insurance premiums which are well above the rate of inflation and justified with spurious excuses ; it feels as if the insurance companies are squeezing the system and taking advantage of the need, indeed the statutory need in the case of car insurance ,. and adding to the cost of living !

Thank you for your feedback. It’s an unfortunate fact that insurance costs have risen in the last year, principally due to the increased costs associated with rebuilding (mainly due to inflation). The sum insured value of your property will have been automatically increased (indexed linked) to reflect that fact it will cost more to rebuild/repair should the worst happen. Hopefully, things will settle down in the coming years.
