I ve been using Akool for a while now, and it has genuinely advanced skills, you can produce high quality professional results

this website took from my card money after i canceled my trial subscription in their website.when i noticed this fraud i wrote them directly and i m being ignored ever since.

Akool may look cheap at first, but the actual user experience is extremely disappointing.

The biggest issue is the absurd waiting time. Their “unlimited” option sounds attractive in theory, but in reality I have experienced waits of over two hours for a single generation. That is not just inconvenient, it is ridiculous.

Even worse, using credits does not solve the problem. In some cases, I still had to wait around 10 minutes for a generation. For a paid service, that is simply not acceptable.

Other platforms such as Higgsfield provide access to comparable models with far better speed and a much smoother workflow. So while Akool may be cheaper, the lost time easily cancels out any price advantage.

In its current state, I would not recommend Akool. The pricing may be competitive, but the queue times are a complete dealbreaker.

Used AKOOL for a couple of marketing videos and it did help cut down production time. Being able to generate videos without organizing a full shoot was convenient. The quality is decent for quick projects, but it still takes a few tries to get the final result just right.

Started using AKOOL to make short explainer videos for social media. It definitely made the process faster compared to recording everything manually. The results are good for simple content, although sometimes the voice or timing needs a bit of tweaking.

Tried AKOOL for creating a few product demo videos for an online store. It made the process faster and avoided the need to film presenters. The videos looked decent for basic explanations, but a few attempts were needed to get the script and delivery right. Good tool, just takes some patience.

Absolute scam! The cancle payment button is not working for the 3 Days Free Trail. I tried it multiple times, and it didnt work. They ended up charing 180 USD, and DONT do refunds. I explained my situation, and they dont give a damn. Im gonna issue it to my bank

They offered me a 3-day trial, and when I forgot to cancel, the trial automatically rolled over into an annual subscription and I was charged 200+ USD. Never seen such scummy behavior. Be very careful and read everything carefully, Akool is not a scam but they will try to fool you in any way they can.

Edit: I had to submit a chargeback request through my bank which was ultimately successful, even though Akool tried to contest it as much as they could. This says enough about them. Now they are replying here offering me a refund, while never responding to my emails. I'm not changing my rating.

My subscription is not working I have paid 18 dollars 2 times (total 36 dollars) but it is not woking credits are showing but image to video not working.
I have email to akool.com also attached invoice, but no reply.
They are cheating to public.

I actually tried a lot of AI tools and then came across Akool. I tried it out extensively, including generating face swap videos, etc.
The result was disastrously bad.

The video effect “character swap” did not work. Since 1 render costs 200 credit and you only get that amount on trial it kinda ends there when complete failure.

Alert! They tried to steal my money! I activated 3 day’s trial and cancelled it after few hours. It was hard to cancel since their chatbot started discussing and offered a free month (which it didn’t give). Eventually I got it cancelled. Shortly after I got a call from my bank about shady behavior. Akool had tried to pull a years payment from my card without any approval of completed transaction from me. I only approved 1 month after the 3 day’s trial, but since cancelling before the 3 day’s trial they are not entitled to that either by any means. They tried to steal! Luckily my bank blocked my card in time. Now I have to wait for a new card from my bank because of them. I don’t suggest this shady company to anyone!

Despite my multiple attempts to cancel my trial via your dashboard and previous emails, your company has failed to process the cancellation or provide a response. This failure to provide a functional and accessible cancellation mechanism is a direct violation of the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act (ROSCA), 15 U.S.C. § 8403, which mandates that merchants provide a simple, effective way for consumers to stop recurring charges.

Be advised of the following legal and financial positions:

Revocation of Consent: My authorization for Akool AI to charge my payment method is explicitly revoked effective immediately. Any attempt to process a charge after the receipt of this notice will be classified as an unauthorized transaction under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act.
Unfair & Deceptive Practices: Under Section 5 of the FTC Act, the practice of ignoring cancellation requests to trigger an automatic billing cycle is an unfair trade practice. I have documented your lack of responsiveness as evidence for a formal complaint to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
Chargeback Action: If a charge is initiated, I will immediately file a dispute with my financial institution. I will provide this correspondence, along with the timestamps of my previous unanswered requests, as proof that Akool AI has willfully ignored a timely cancellation request. I will also request that my bank block all future transaction attempts from your Merchant ID.
I demand the following within the next 24 hours:

Immediate cancellation of my subscription and trial.
Written confirmation that no charges will be applied to my card.
Deletion of my payment information from your servers.
I am monitoring my account closely. Do not attempt to process this payment.

Akool provides some unique services, faceswap was generally the best for awhile, competitive API pricing, but their business model and practices are somewhat shady. It's incredibly easy to unexpectedly get 'upgraded' immediately without a proper checkout page. Your credits expire month to month which makes it a terrible value. I had an erroneous charge on my account, which they offered to discount and let me keep credits, only to have them expire 2 weeks prematurely, and after a lengthy attempt to get them back basically got ignored. There are definitely better options out there for any services of models they provide, but with better prices, clarity, and customer service.

Worst ever.

I selected the 3 day free plan but I was charged for the whole month immediately. I should have been charged after three day but I got scammed by this company. Horrible.

Despite my complaint about paying without being able to benefit from the software and despite their positive and insuring answer on Trustpilot they did not do anything about it other than selling words

I tried cancelling after free trial, cancellation button wasn't working, then I contacted their support, ofcourse it was AI and made a ticket, ticket wasn't answered and i was charged $220, scam company
