I had my dental implants done at Akdiş on Friday, with my root canals carried out by an endodontist. Dental treatment in the UK is incredibly expensive, so I was pleasantly surprised to find such a well-equipped clinic in Türkiye. My temporary teeth are now in place, and I’m waiting for the implants to heal. I’ll keep sharing my experience as things progress.

I had my implants done at Akdiş last week, and they fitted me with incredibly realistic temporary teeth. I thought I would be left without teeth during the treatment, but that concern completely vanished from my mind. I will update my review once the process is complete; everything has been fantastic so far!

I wanted to share my personal experience for anyone considering dental treatment in Turkey.

I had my dental treatment around 4 years ago at Akdiş Oral & Dental Polyclinic in Istanbul, and looking back after all this time, I can honestly say I am still very happy with my decision.

My treatment was carried out by Dt. İpek Ablak and Dr. Dt. Abdulkadir Tiftik. From the beginning, I felt that everything was explained clearly and that the focus was not simply on giving me new teeth, but on making sure the treatment was right for my dental health in the long term.

What I appreciated most was the level of care and attention throughout the whole process. I never felt rushed, and whenever something needed to be checked or discussed, the doctors took the time to explain it properly.

Four years later, I am still happy with my smile and with the treatment I received. I will visit them again for my check-ups and they are still assisting me for every single question! The most important thing is still same doctors will be assist me ❤️

My advice to anyone travelling abroad for dental treatment is to look beyond just the price. Ask who will actually be treating you, what qualifications they have, what materials will be used, and most importantly, who will be there for you after the treatment is finished.

Based on my own experience, I would happily recommend Akdiş Oral & Dental Polyclinic and especially Dt. İpek Ablak and Dr. Dt. Abdulkadir Tiftik.

Me and my partner we came twice from UK to get our treatments done (Crowns + Implants, root canals, cleansing + surgical extraction). The team and the doctors put you at ease and make you feel comfortable and safe!
The clinic is absolutely flawlessly clean following all the hygiene protocols which for me is very important.
We met our main dentist, Ipek, who is lovely and she pay attention to the detail and always made sure we are feeling ok.
We also had a great team of doctors such us our surgeon dentist, root canal specialist, and the dentist assistants who did amazing job and they all are professionals.
The clinic also provided us with accommodation and transportation which made our travel much easier.
We highly recommend Akdis clinic and we definitely coming back for further treatments in case we need to!

I had 27 crowns and 15 root canal treatments done with Adkis Clinic and I’m in awe with the great work they have done!
In total, I had three different specialists that worked on my teeth, one for my root canals, one who made the crowns & bridges and the main dentist who completed all of my treatment. Throughout my stay, I was provided with a lovely driver, Tayfun, whom assisted my journeys to and from the clinic, making the process so much easier and stress-free.
I would definitely recommend Adkis Clinic, they were very professional and they ensured I was treated with care throughout the duration of my treatment.
