AVOID...

AVOID...
a TOTAL RIP OFF!
Dishonest and Incompetent!
Sent out by Choice Home Warranty and Mis-diagnosed a No Heat of a mobile home packaged unit as a failed Relay and Capacitor (no Capacitor in the Heating circuit)and Low on Freon (Freon has nothing related to Heat). Not worth repairing. Replace this 13 year old unit with new AC at $6,400. No cost quote to repair. Choice Home Warranty - AVOID - will not approve repair because there is Mold on the unit. Quoted $1,800 to clean and would require disconnecting Condenser Coil. (cleaning is a liquid spray - no disconnecting) All this from a Tech who said he had been in the business 10 years!
No Thanks - paid $75 service fee and went elsewhere.
Correct diagnosis was failed Thermostat and Freon OK. Replaced Thermostat - now Heats...

Beware of Air Zone Air Conditioning & Heating Inc.

If possible, I would assign zero stars. This company is the antithesis of professionalism, honesty, and ethical business practice. They are unqualified, dishonest, and rely on guesswork instead of competent diagnosis.

The first contractor they sent to my home admitted he had no knowledge of mini split systems. Instead of addressing the issue, he engaged in unauthorized and unlawful conduct by taking pictures of my private home office without consent. This matter is currently the subject of pending legal action.

A second contractor was later dispatched, and together they submitted a report to American Home Shield that contained false and misleading statements. As a direct result, my valid claim was wrongfully denied. When I sought an independent expert opinion, that professional, in coordination with the manufacturer, conducted proper diagnostic testing and determined that every assertion made by this company was factually incorrect, unprofessional, and deceptive.

The company’s office staff exhibited the same lack of professionalism. On one occasion, I was told to “chill out and relax” when attempting to discuss my case—an entirely inappropriate and unprofessional response. I was forced to caution her multiple times about her conduct.

To further compound matters, this company was scheduled to perform service on my central air conditioning system. They chose to make a deliberate statement by failing to appear—without any call, notice, or explanation.

Due to ongoing legal proceedings, I cannot disclose additional details at this time. However, I strongly urge all consumers: avoid this company at all costs. Their conduct demonstrates a consistent pattern of dishonesty, unprofessional behavior, and disregard for both ethical standards and customer rights.
