I called airline and agent named Inoka…

I called airline and agent named Inoka answered the call, i tried to give her my booking nbr but she asked what is the issue when i informed she aked me to send an email, i was wondering why she cannot help me over the phone she said because she needs to investigate, i said why you don't do it now you can access my booking and check what you can do give me at least the feeling that my enquiry is important . Inoka said because she is not in front of the system. so i don't know where she was? in the bedroom maybe watching netflix and i bothered her during her working ours? or maybe she was out just had the phone with her as when i tried to call today because i didn't get any feedback about my enquiry i got the voice mail which companies doesn't use so i think she did something to transfer the call to her personal phone nbr or something like that.
Anyway one of the worst services i had to deal with..Inoka you are not very helpful. do not use them guys

Modified flight times and cancelled Club seat booking

Air Transat moved my flight to an earlier time several weeks after booking, which messed up all of my reservations at the other end.
Several weeks later, Air Transat cancelled my club class reservation and offered to replace it for an economy seat. The refund that was offered did not reflect the cost difference between an economy seat and club class seat at the time of booking, which is daylight robbery.
I haven't been away in a while and travelling to America is a once in a lifetime experience, so I thought I'd treat myself, but Air Transat have done their best to ruin the start of my trip.
Make sure you book with a different airline as these people will mess you about. I wish I'd listened to the other reviews.

Terrible Airline

Due to a 1 hour and 55 minute delay by Air Transat, I missed my connecting flight in Toronto Pearson. I would have had 3 hours and 30 minutes to make my connecting flight, if it not for the delay.

Air transit offered no assistance at the time and I had to ask for help from another airline just to find somewhere to stay.

I applied for compensation, not for a connecting flight, but for the overnight stay incurred due to the delay. Transit refused any form of compensation as the delay was under two hours.

I am extremely unimpressed with Air Transat and will avoid flying them you in future.

Happy with the result

Due to Covid-19, I changed the date of my flight (pre flexibility policy, which kicked in 12hrs after I changed the date). I paid £150 to make the change. Called a day ago to request a form of refund. I was given a voucher in equal value!! Happy with the result! My aim to travel to Canada hasn't changed. Just delayed.

Appalling

Appalling! We had booked flights with Air Transat in January, to which they have decided on their own to cancel the flight and change the date of. Asking them for a full refund since other dates don’t work, and they flatly refuse, despite the EU regulation 261/2004 is in power. I spoke to customer services who said the Law doesn’t apply!! But they said their terms and conditions still do, so they would happy charge me £250 per person/per flight to do (totalling £1000!!). Everything about this company during this time is dreadful for honest customers who aren’t getting the services we have paid for!

SHAMBLES OF A COMPANY.booked through canadian affair and received a phone call today as I requested. I advised the manager that when I booked I was lead to believe my rights were under standard terms and conditions to which I was entitled to full refund under section 23(ii) with canadian affair as thats who I paid and booked with.manager said they had group meeting and advised me due to pandemic that terms and conditions have been amended by AIR TRANSAT.and I advised her i never booked through air trsnsat under pandemic conditions and that standard conditions should still apply to myself.she agreed with me and told me she totally understands what I'm saying but could only give a voucher AS THAT'S WHAT AIR TRANSAT HAS DECIDED. NEVER BOOK WITH ANY OF THESE COWBOY COMPANIES. THEY BOTH MAKE A CHOCOLATE TEAPOT LOOK USEFUL.

I would NOT recommend using Air Transat…

I would NOT recommend using Air Transat as they have ZERO respect for their customers. Air Transat operate out of the UK under EU Regulations EC 261/2004 and C(2020)1830 (Covid update). These rules state:
3.2. Right to reimbursement or re-routing:
In the case of a flight cancellation by the airlines (no matter what the cause is), Article 5 obliges the operating air carrier to offer the passengers the choice among:
a) reimbursement (refund);
b) re-routing at the earliest opportunity, or
c) re-routing at a later date at the passenger's convenience.

Air Transat are NOT offering refunds. They have my money for flights that were cancelled. I DO NOT want vouchers, I WANT A REFUND from Air Transat.

Greedy!

We booked a flight to Canada executed by Air Transat and made already seat selection for €144 in advance. Because of the Corona virus we are forced to cancel our trip because as a European we are not allowed to enter Canada and the US. The trip cost us already a lot of money without any compensation. We asked Air Transat to be flexible and refund us the costs of the seat selection. Air Transat refused to do so. Air Transat is greedy and makes money over other peoples misery and takes advantage of the Corona virus, without delivery any service.

We booked through Air Transat and I…

We booked through Air Transat and I just called to request a bassinet and they tell me it’s an extra 72€ for each seat so an additional 216€ since we’re three passengers (one toddler) as these are considered extra leg room seats and are “highly coveted.” This is EXTREMELY unfair to families. I have never encountered this through any other airline and if I would have known I wouldn’t have booked through them.

Transat Sold My Deceased's Husband's Seat - Got Paid 2X - Refuses a Refund

My husband passed away while we were travelling on vacation in Puerto Vallarta – I notified Air Transat on Jan. 24 that my husband had passed and I would be bringing his ashes home with me on the flight the next day on the 25th. I did not ask for a refund, and had the impression that my husband’s seat [which was paid for] would be empty. Air Transat did not offer me a refund or give me any inclination that my husband’s seat would be resold as per their standby policy. I had a nasty interaction with a gentleman who was sold my husband’s seat via Air Transat’s standby policy, and when I went to my travel agent back home in Edmonton in an attempt to get a refund for my husbands seat, they informed me that I did not have cancellation insurance

In my mind, the airline received payment 2x for my husband's seat – once by us and once by the gentleman on standby – and I feel this was done maliciously & unethically due to the circumstances surrounding my husband’s passing and their lack of offer of a refund?

Uncomfortable but cheap.

We flew Gatwick to Vancouver in August 3019 and returned from Calgary.
The outgoing flight was an hour late. The return flight was on time. We wanted I'm Vancouver well over an hour for our luggage.
On board the seats are very hard, most uncomfortable. Entertainment ok but going out only had 11 films to choose from, we had 55 on therefore. You need to provide your own headphones or buy on board. The food is very minimalistic. You'll get one drinks round, sift drinks free beer etc to buy. Meals and snacks are minimal too. We took some sausage rolls on board and were very glad we did.
Also the staff are very minimal, a bit formal, almost rude. Definitely unfriendly and unhelpful. You hardly ever see them.
However the flight costs were a fair bit cheaper than the others so you get what you pay for, Don't expect a comfortable seat, good food or friendly staff. But you'll get there safely and at a decent price.

Unable to find website to buy baggage for baggage-less Air Transat ticket bought via MyTrip

Bought an Air Transat return ticket Athens-Toronto via MyTrip. Did not include checked baggage (fortunately I noticed this before buying and paying). No way to book baggage via MyTrip webiste, but one is not told that. Also had no luck going to the website of Air Transat (asks for Confirmation Number - nothing by this name supplied by MyTrip). After many failed attempts (where Transat website also gives no indication of what is wrong) I phoned Transat ($$$$, because I was phoning Canada from South Africa - first call cut off after 5 minutes, 2nd call took 15 minutes) and only then heard that it is not possible to book baggage via Transat website if you've booked via a third party - MyTrip, in this case. Can only be done by phone. Fie not only on MyTrip, but also on Transat for refusing to remedy failure of MyTrip to provide crucial information on their website or their confirmation letters. It's not as if MyTrip is a local, small town travel agent, or as if what is involved is oral information, for which Transat could not take responsibility. MyTrip sells large numbers of tickets for Air Trans. Lady who helped me on phone at Air Transat, rather than saying sorry, I'll pass on this information so something is done about it, kept on saying that Air Transat can't take responsibility for what a third party - MyTrip - does.

One leg of my international journey was…

One leg of my international journey was excellent; the other leg was disappointing, so I've given an average rating of my full journey on board Air Transat. The food and drink service was among some of the best I've experienced in coach; however, the seat on the first leg of my journey was unbearably uncomfortable and it was a long flight. I shifted from side to side every ten minutes. Also, ahead and behind our seats were two families with infants, one of which did not stop crying for most of the flight. It put everyone around us on edge. There should really be a policy to sit families with small children in designated areas of the plane. The IFE had a good selection of current titles including some HBO. I would fly Air Transat again but I would probably try to get seats in Club Class seats to avoid the crying babies and get some sleep if my journey was as long as the last one.

Really bad experience

Really bad experience, please never book your flight through kiwi.com which actually gave me a lot of problems. Further more, airtransat.
Have you ever heard a check-in employee saying-
"I have tons of work to do,,take whatever you want from the baggage,,quickly"
This was the phrase of an employee who checked in my sport duffle bag 7.7 kgs which was actually not supposed to be checked-in, i put it on the belt following her saying that i have to pay for it. End of the story, next flight the baggage is not transferred, lost money in the baggage which was stolen later when i got the baggage after 6 days,,,also i was in turkey for three days with no baggage.
Now when trying to ask for compensation or atleast listen to the complaint of an employee,,,nobody responded back to the emails.
