What a shitty move from them. Alright, no hard feelings 'plastic green' bank ;)
Condescending and rude customer service.
The most modern banking experience in…
The most modern banking experience in the Czech Republic. No hidden fees, a brilliant mobile app, and staff members who actually talk to you like a human being. They make banking feel simple and transparent, which is a rare thing these days. Truly a 'bank you can like
My fav bank in CR
My fav bank in CR, everything can be done online and UX is great. Website could be faster, but good enough for a bank

An unjustified refusal to provide certain services based on a non-public list of criteria that a person is unable to influence, even if they wanted to.
After contacting the CNB, the reason for the denial included references to the "geopolitical situation and the theoretical possibility of a decline in solvency," despite a stable and transparent income, residence status, and excellent financial history.
Terrible bank
Terrible bank, awful communication with customers. If you need anything more than just a current account, avoid this bank at all costs!
After paying off our mortgage, we repeatedly requested a confirmation of the termination of the lien so we could submit it to the land registry. They haven’t been able to issue one simple document for almost a month. And that’s despite us requesting an urgency (!) — we regularly call the helpline, where the robot promises that an operator will call us back, which usually never happens. Only when you call repeatedly do they finally connect you to an operator, who just tells you that it’s impossible to reach the mortgage specialists and that they will ‘send them a message with our contact details’. Yet even then, nobody gets back to us. The only thing the operator is capable of telling you are false claims that your request has already been processed and that the document will arrive in your data mailbox on next day. So many promises and we are still waiting...

Airbank is not for English speakers
It sounds frustrating to experience such limitations, especially when banking services should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their native language. It’s unfortunate that Airbank hasn’t adapted to the needs of the international community in the Czech Republic.
I was just trying to call to talk to someone regarding an urgent matter and I received an automated message that all their english speaking advisors are busy and that they wont be able to help. Really shit service
I highly recommend not using Airbank if you cant speak czech. I will be moving away from Airbank as soon as I can.
Air bank are a racist and transphobic company
Air bank are a racist and transphobic company. Their employees are also extremely hostile on top of that. As a trans person in czech republic I am forced by this company to be called 'miss or ma'am' and cannot change it because apparently i am a woman to them and should be adressed as one.
Foreigner-hostile, if you’re not a native steer clear
Expats (and conscientious locals): Air Bank is hostile towards foreigners, steer clear. So many other great banks here want your business, this one doesn’t.
I went to open an account Friday at Vodičkova. At the branch, I was told by a speaker of perfect English that I had to bring a Czech speaker because they are “not allowed to speak English here” and “they could get in trouble for it.”
“You’ll get in trouble for speaking to a customer in English?!” “Yes, unfortunately!”
I said ok, then I guess I don’t want an account with you. Later I called their “English hotline” and was put on hold and hung up on twice. The second time I even got a very long recording saying “I’m welcome to come to the branch, but bring an interpreter!” My Czech gf called the Czech hotline and was told “we may seem like an international bank, but we’re a Czech bank!” (What does that mean? Czech banks are only for Czechs who speak Czech?)
Turns out even their app isn’t localized in English (less “modern” banks are).
I get that legally if a contract is in Czech they want to make sure you understand it, but it’s my right to sign something even if I don’t (also have you heard of google translate?).
But to refuse to speak to someone without a chaperon? When you speak the language just fine?
This bank doesn’t want my business or yours, there are better options out there that aren’t openly xenophobic.

Absolutely horrible
Absolutely horrible.
The worst people i have ever met in prague.
Simply rude, and that is putting it lightly.
Extremely racist and completely unwilling to help.
Think twice before joining.
Great bank for Czechia
Great bank for Czechia, everything works on the net/app, and in Czechia are many bank branches and ATM.
One bad thing is that they are blocking SEPA payment to crypto exchanges.
