His son tripped on the long wire of a corded pool cleaner that he was using, fell, and struck his head He comforted his little boy and promised he'd never get hurt again. A personal touch and innovation, this is how we at Aiper develop our products. Aiper's cordless robotic pool cleaner was born at that moment. Not reliable products.

Had a seagull pro that was recalled due to some issue that it could catch fire while charging. They replaced it with a Scuba S1. That one stopped charging about 8-9 months in. Contacted support they told me the only honor the date for the original one. Very cheap product beware of that.

Robot did not last long

Robot stopped working after less than a year of actual use. Having a nightmare trying to get it collected for repair. Now into week 2 with it sitting packaged waiting to be picked up. Even took it to a pick up point they recommended which was nearly a 2 hour round trip to find out they had supplied out of date transfer form so collection would not take it. Don't think this product or company is worth the hassle, buy something from a reputable company. It would have been easier just to send me out another unit and probably cheaper. If this gets resolved before summer I might upgrade to 2 stars, if I get a new unit then 3, dont think i will be upgrading my review at this rate

Repair required with only two weeks left on warranty.

My sister gave me her Aiper cleaner when she sold her house and no longer had a swimming pool. We had problems though; it only worked for 20 minutes and would then shut down. It was barely under warranty with only two weeks before expiration, so I was sceptical whether they would honour it. But they did. I sent it back and they repaired it promptly. It's been returned and works perfectly. Great customer service.

Awesome pool cleaner

Awesome pool cleaner. My pool is the cleanest it has ever been. I got rid of my pool cleaning service and am so happy that I purchased this product. It is a little on the heavier side but I highly recommend buying the Aiper caddy. It is a game changer.

Good product from well run company

Ordering process straightforward. Delivery time relatively short, with good updates on expected delivery dates. A written instruction manual provided - unusual in this day and age, as well as available online version. App for device is also very helpful. So far, my first few try's in the pool successful - seems to work as advertised and cleans well. Easy to operate device, as well as clean filter when done. Instructions could be a little clearer on what to expect from a run duration in floor or side clean modes. Does it go until it feels pool area covered, or just keep going until battery depleted? Had to call support to understand that aspect of operation. Support was easy to contact, and can quickly get live help - they were polite and helpful. So far, I'm very happy with my choice. This prompted review came early after receipt of product, and I would also invite Aiper to solicit review from me on reliability after I've had the product for at least 6 months.

It just can't do the job sometime

There's nothing you can do but watch helplessly as it navigates around the leaves at the bottom of the pool—but that's just its functional limitation. Even worse, sometimes it follows an arc instead of a straight line along the pool bottom, and other times it can't stay close to the bottom and its front wheels lift up to move forward. Ultimately, you'll see a large patch of fallen leaves still lingering at the bottom of the pool after it finishes its mission.

Our 2nd Aiper

Slightly disappointed that our first Aiper only lasted 2 weeks beyond the 2 year warranty - but the new Scuba S1 has improved design features and is working well so far.

Only lasts a year

I have both the skimmer and the vacuum. Both products only lasted a year. One year. Their customer service was all through email and while they did end up replacing the vacuum, the skimmer is now dead and I truly don't have the energy to fight with them again.

I live in Arizona so a solar skimmer is perfect and there is no lack of sun. It did do a great job but I would expect more than one year out these products.

I would look elsewhere

Robot is not cleaning the complete…

Robot is not cleaning the complete pool. It is missing spots. It is not learning the dimensions of my pool. Very disappointed in the performance of the product.

The after sales support has been excellent

The after sales support has been fantastic. When my Scuba Pro failed again, they replaced the unit with a new item (see product review). This was the 4th time I had to use support due to electrical issues and each time was excellent

Pool vac needed a warranty repair

Pool vac needed a warranty repair . Contacted customer service by online chat and by the end of the same day I had a return label emailed to me . Shipped item back to Aiper and in less than 5 business days my vacuum was back at my home repaired . Disappointed that my 7 month pool vacuum needed repair but impressed by the efficient customer service I received .
