Very Disappointing Experience Compared to My First Application

I previously used AHZ Associates for my first Master’s application and had a genuinely good experience with their service. Because of that positive experience, I chose to use them again for my second Master’s application, despite knowing that the process would be more complicated. Before proceeding, I specifically discussed the situation with them and asked whether they were able to handle the application. I was assured that they could.

Unfortunately, this time the experience was very different.

Throughout the application process, there were repeated errors and inconsistencies across applications to different universities, including mistakes in personal information and academic details. Some of the same types of errors were repeated even after I had already pointed them out.

I also found that I had to repeatedly chase my own application and ask for updates, rather than feeling that my consultant, Miss Murshida, was proactively managing the process. On one occasion, there was even a lack of understanding of basic application terminology, which was particularly concerning given that I had specifically chosen to use an experienced education agency and when informed of such constant errors from their side to the managers, no changes or apologies were made.

There were also several occasions where I was given information regarding the UCAS application process that turned out to be incorrect or unclear. When I questioned these issues, the explanations I received did not properly address the errors themselves. Instead, I often felt that reasons were being given to explain why something had happened rather than simply acknowledging and correcting the mistake.

I remained patient and polite throughout and repeatedly brought issues to their attention. However, the responses from my consultant were often defensive, including comments about having many clients and knowing how the process worked, while mistakes were still being made. Having a large number of clients may explain workload pressures, but it does not resolve the impact of repeated errors on an individual student’s application.

The situation became particularly disappointing towards the end of my second Master’s application. After I had completed everything required from my side and the process had already been extremely difficult, communication between AHZ and the University became a major issue, and I ultimately lost my intended intake.

When I raised my concerns afterwards, I found the communication very frustrating. Rather than receiving a straightforward acknowledgement of the mistakes I had repeatedly raised, I received lengthy explanations and responses that sometimes twisted or misunderstood what I had actually said and addressed points I had not made. I also felt that the difficulty of my application was repeatedly emphasised, rather than AHZ taking responsibility for the specific communication and application errors that occurred.

I understand that complicated applications can involve difficulties and that not every part of an application is within an agent’s control. My concern is with the repeated avoidable errors, poor communication, lack of proactive follow-up, inconsistent information and the way my concerns were handled when I raised them.

It is especially disappointing because my previous experience with AHZ had been good, which was the main reason I trusted them with my second application. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with a very different impression of the service.

I hope AHZ takes this feedback seriously, particularly regarding accuracy, staff training, communication, accountability and ensuring that students are properly informed about what is being submitted or communicated on their behalf.

One of the worst consultancies I have…

One of the worst consultancies I have ever dealt with. Extremely unprofessional. My consultant left the job midway through my visa process, and the other staff members provided little to no support. I ended up paying for my own appointments and filing my visa application myself.

I strongly recommend avoiding them. In my experience, they are a complete red flag.

My experience with AHZ Consultants has…

My experience with AHZ Consultants has been extremely disappointing and stressful. I would strongly advise anyone considering using their services to think twice before trusting them with something as important as a visa application.

My husband initially dealt with one consultant, who then left. When it was finally time to submit the visa application, the service we received was shockingly careless. Between 9 August and 13 August, they only started the application and then left it incomplete, despite the urgency and importance of the situation.

What was even more concerning was the lack of basic knowledge from their compliance officer. They did not even seem to understand the difference between Tier 2 and Tier 4 visas, which is completely unacceptable for a consultancy claiming to provide professional visa services.

In the end, I had to upload the documents myself because they provided virtually no assistance. I repeatedly messaged them asking for help, but my messages were ignored or received no useful response.

They also failed to arrange my visa appointment. Because of their negligence, I had to arrange it myself and ended up paying extra money for an expensive appointment. The worst part is that even after I had already attended the appointment, when I messaged them afterwards, they were still asking me when the appointment needed to be booked. This clearly shows how little attention they were paying to my case.

This was not just an inconvenience—it caused unnecessary stress, wasted time and additional financial cost at a very critical stage of my visa process.

Based on my experience, it honestly feels like their main priority is simply helping students obtain an offer letter from an expensive university. Once that is done, the level of support becomes extremely poor. For a service that charges money for professional guidance, this level of carelessness and lack of knowledge is completely unacceptable.

I would not recommend AHZ Consultants to anyone who expects proper communication, competent visa guidance, or reliable support. If you are trusting a consultancy with your future and your visa application, you deserve much better than this.

Worst agency in Bangladesh

Worst agency in Bangladesh! Held my file for 35+ days with zero progress, causing me to miss the may intake entirely. They promised 'recovery mode' but ghosted me instead of applying. Even when their failure was obvious, they refused to release my file, trapping me. Avoid AHZ if you value your future—pure negligence and false promises.

Rude and Unprofessional

The girl, may be one of the adviser of the associate is exceptionally rude and unprofessional. I called at about 3:23 pm on 28/11/25 to query about Masters by Research course.

She was not allowing me to speak, rather she was assuming situation and saying that this is not available not, she also went beyond her professional capacity by providing me immigration advise as well!

Ridiculous!

Honest Review of AHZ Associates

Honest Review of AHZ Associates – Extremely Disappointing & Risky for Students

I contacted AHZ Associates on 8th July 2025 for support with my university admission. From the very beginning, I clearly explained everything to them. My goal was to start a PhD or DBA program, and I had already completed my research proposal. I sent all documents to AHZ so they could apply to the University of Gloucestershire on my behalf.

After that, I waited for almost two months, until September, without receiving a single update. When I contacted them again, they told me I needed to wait a minimum of 3 months. They were fully aware that my UK visa expires on 14 November 2025, yet they did not apply to any other course or university to protect my immigration status.

Because I was scared about my visa expiring, I requested them to apply for a Master’s program instead. Even then, they failed to give me any January intake options. Their unprofessionalism continued. At one point, AHZ even told me that the University of Greenwich would only give me an offer if I returned to my home country and applied from there — which is completely unacceptable because leaving the UK would cause me to lose my continuous residency, after already being here for almost four years.

In October, when it was already too late, they suddenly asked universities for November intake options. They applied to the University of Bedfordshire, and again I waited until 1 November with no update. When I finally contacted the university myself, they told me clearly that the issue was with the agency’s contract, not with my application.

When I confronted AHZ Associates, they told me to be ready to pay a £12,000 deposit the next day. But the next morning, they informed me that the CAS deadline had already passed and that the university would not give me an offer anymore. The only thing they said was “sorry” — after wasting my time, risking my visa, and putting my future in danger.

During this whole time, I applied to many universities on my own and received excellent offer letters, including lower tuition fees. But because of UK Government rules, your next course must start within 28 days of your visa expiry. My available offers were beyond the 28-day limit, so I couldn’t use them.

Finally, when I applied by myself for a December intake, I completed the whole process within 2 weeks, with no delays and no stress — proving that AHZ Associates were the problem, not me.

Serious Questions AHZ Associates Must Answer

To this day, AHZ Associates have no answers — only excuses.
I want to ask them publicly:

1️⃣ Why didn’t you apply for the September intake when you knew my visa situation?
2️⃣ Why didn’t you tell me about the 28-day rule?
3️⃣ Why didn’t you apply for November intake earlier?
4️⃣ Why did you tell me to prepare £12,000 when the CAS deadline had already passed?
5️⃣ Why did you only say “sorry” after putting my visa, my future, and my life in the UK at risk?
6️⃣ Why did you suggest I leave the UK and apply from my home country, knowing it would break my continuous residency?
7️⃣ Why are direct applicants able to get offers and scholarships faster than what you provided?

🚫 My Advice: DO NOT TRUST AHZ ASSOCIATES

They do not care about students.
They do not understand urgency.
They play with people’s dreams, money, and future.

Their mistakes almost caused me to lose my legal right to stay in the UK, even after living here since 2022.

If you are planning to study in the UK:

✔ Apply by yourself.

✔ Communicate directly with universities — they always help direct applicants.

✔ Universities give BETTER scholarships to direct applicants, not to agency-referred students.

AHZ Associates only want money. They will not protect your future, your visa, or your dreams.
