I bought three Ahlens silicone bottles

I bought three Ahlens silicone bottles. After one month two of them show cracked lids. Ahlens finds this normal and does not sell spare parts. So two bottles in the garbage after 1 month.... not very sustainable....

Extremely Disappointed with Åhlens Website and In-Store Stock Accuracy

I had a very frustrating experience with Åhlens recently. During their sale period, I tried to buy a couple of items online, but the website showed them as “not available for online purchase” while claiming they were in stock at specific physical stores.

Trusting the information provided, I drove twice a total of around 120 km to two different Åhlens branches (City and Skanstull), only to be told both times that the items had not been in stock for quite a while.

- Åhlens City: Weekend bag in leather – Fredrik
- Åhlens Skanstull: Laptop bag in leather – Fredrik

Their website claimed there were at least 5 items in stock in the City and a few at the Skanstull location at the time, but store staff told me these had been gone for a long time. The online stock information is completely unreliable and misleading.

This shows a lack of respect for customers’ time and effort. Åhlens needs to take responsibility and either fix their online system or stop advertising incorrect availability. This kind of experience makes me seriously question shopping with them again.

We was queuing for around 10 minutes…

We was queuing for around 10 minutes with a couple of items and a few people jumped in and the employees continued to serve them and ignored us. They knew we was waiting before the others… very disappointed and decided to leave my items. I am not spending money in a business that does not value it customers… don’t recommend! Will never return

Too long delivery

25 August (sunday) i ordered few stuff from Åhléns online. It stands that delivery is taking 2-3 work days. It stand that I will get package 27-28 August. It didn't. 29 August I got mail that my package is ready to send but one product is out of stock cause they had wrong stock number On internet shop. It was a car perfume from Rituals. If anyone call me i would choose other one perfume. But no. Okay. So I got sms that delivery will come on monday 2 september. Delivery leave by the door kl 17-22. Once a week monday I am not home kl18-19. And exactly that time came delivery. Called my port to the stairs. So they don't have even kod to the main door...
So I order stuff by internet to get it by the door and they don't keep delivery date, then delivery firma has no kod to the door to come and just leave package by the door. What the hell? Couldn't that got smooth? Do I always have to have phone with me?
Åhléns online never again.

The worst customer service

We purchased a product online from men’s section as a gift but it turn out the product was for woman , so it was under the wrong section. When we contact the customer service about this situation we have been told that (after they checked with IT department) the product was always under the women section and never been a mistake about the product so basically they have blamed us about being a liar but when we mentioned we have a proof about the wrong section suddenly they confirmed the product was duplicated in man’s section. From now on I will never ever buy any product from them(online or store) anymore since I can find all the product they sale is available on other store.

Stupid online service

First question is why such a big mall does not have an app? Have to use a browser for an online shopping, which is rather old-fashioned an slow. I spent significant time to find the items and to add them to the cart, but when it came to payment the site did not work. I tried several bank cards, but the site did not accept any, saying that the card details were wrongly typed in, while the details were absolutely correct. Then I tried with swish payment - same story, site neither showed a QR code to scan with swish app nor sent a request to the swish app for approval. There was just a crop-up window saying that I should scan the QR code, but the site didn’t show any QR code, what to scan? I tried with two smartphones and one laptop, and had the same problem on every gadget. I also tried two different wi-fi connections, but that didn’t help. Thus, the problem is definitely with the site, because I used three gadgets, 2 wi-fi, 2 bank cards from different banks and swish and the site would not allow any of my try to pay.
The mall urgently needs highly qualified IT-experts, their current IT service is a real shame.
Finally I bought the items in another store, online shopping at Åhléns is just a waste of time!

Shipped around 1000 kr order with glass bottle in a thin plastic bag !! Damaged items! Refused to rectify their mistake! Non-Chalant “customer service “ with bad attitude! WARNING!!!

Purchased an Armani Eyeliner and one bottle of Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. Armani Luminous Silk foundation comes in a glass bottle. Chose delivery to a Shell gas station as ombud. Upon picking up the order, I immediately noticed that Åhlens delivered it using a regular plastic shipping bag. To my dismay, when I set the bag down on the counter before opening, I heard the sound of bare glass thunk against the surface. I opened the bag and found that whoever packaged the order used absolutely no packing materials !!! Both items had Completely damaged packaging and the glas Armani bottle was damaged and had been rolling around at the bottom of the huge Åhlens shipping bag !!! I have NEVER seen this gross type of NEGLECT before ! Besides the fact that the foundation itsself is around 580 sek, I can’t understand Why anyone would package a makeup pencil and a glass bottle regardless of price in this manner with absolutely NO protective packaging . This is common sense!!!

When I called Åhlens customer service, the girl seemed unphased and unapologetic. I gladly said i Could send photos of the mess iMmediately. She had a non-chalant, bad attitude, and it was evident that she was not taking the complaint seriously, also telling me I could send pictures but I would have to still wait until they “ made a decision “ even after their “ reclamation department “ would have seen the photos including the mess ??!
Wild ! Why should I have to wait weeks for a replacement after they see the photos with the evidence? I just can’t believe it, as the entire reason why there is a situation is because they did not know how to correctly ship their products, yet the customer is being penalized for their mistake . Regretted that I even purchased the products from them . I hope they understand that their shipping team, and customer service teams need proper basic training. In the end, I, the customer,
am the one that loses. Rethink if you can purchase from another retailer, do it! Shopping should NOT be this hard! Goodluck everyone !

Never go to Åhlens i t central under the stairs. I was there waiting for my friend and I was just looking in the mirror when I came up to a staff member what happened to you? Why does she ask that? The staff doesn't care. She looked at me like a thief and kept his eyes on me. Really uncomfortable. I never want to go in again. Really scary. I felt that the co-workers were talking about me. Returned 2 items to Åhlens but only one…

Returned 2 items to Åhlens but only one was registered. Wrote to the customer service, described the situation in details, including all tracking & order numbers with 2 questions. But got only a super short and general reply, it's like the customer service didn't even read the email and no further information regarding the returned item.

Horrible costumer service. Went to the store in Stockholm to find my shade Armani foundation. Staff was less than interested in helping and I would have liked 2-3 tiny samples to try at home on a makeup free face because neither me nor the woman “helping” me could see which one out of 3 different shades I should get. Got 1 sample after practically begging. Sad because if I’d have gotten better help and 1-2 extra samples I would have come back to buy the one that fit me. Now I’ll go somewhere else.

A frustrating shopping experience

The website needs to be updated urgently. There are so many broken links that lead to products that don’t exist, the promotion codes don’t work, it’s nearly important to browse for products as every time you click on something for more information and then want to return to the product list, the site sends you either in the beginning of the page or somewhere else entirely - the list goes on. So frustrating!
Not to mention the problems with the deliveries - it’s nearly impossible to trace the packages and when the order ends up being shipped back to Åhléns without you even being notified about the delivery in the first place, the customer gets to pay for the return. And what does the customer service when contacted about the problem? Simply thanks you for your feedback!
Time to make some big changes if you want to keep your customers!

Horrible service

Horrible service. I ordered products from their website as Christmas presents and was not given any updates on my order besides the order confirmation until I took it upon myself (two weeks later) to inquire about why my order was delayed. I was then told my order had been cancelled because the pricing on their website was incorrect to which I had never been informed about. Then to compensate I was offered to purchase the same products at full price.
Do not recommend. Stay away from this company.

The worst service.

The worst service.
They couldn't locate my order after I ordered a product through their website.
They didn't even update me about my package.
After several emails to customer service, they said that they couldn't locate the package after 2 weeks.
Pathetic service from Åhlens.
Don't ever dare to order from their website.
This company is gonna get doomed with this kind of service

Malicious cancellation

All my orders during Black Friday promotion period have been cancelled due to “insufficient stock”. Can you believe this? All the products (more than 10 products) I bought are all out of stock…..Åhlens sucks.
