We have 5 monitors in our organisation that delivers frozen food products up and down the NSW coast. It is with a sense of security that we have a reliable monitoring system to advise if the temps are not as they should be. They also track the movements of our trucks. Highly recommend the team from Sentry.

The AFSTC fridge monitoring system has been a lifesaver for our food charity. Previously, we relied on manual checks for our three coolrooms and multiple fridges and freezers, with no way to monitor temperatures overnight or on weekends. In the very first week of using the system, we saved 400 meals thanks to an alarm that alerted us to an open freezer door. The AFSTC team has been incredibly responsive, providing excellent service and support during setup. We now have true peace of mind knowing our food is safe and continuously monitored.

After looking for a cost effective suitable temperature monitoring system, we found Sentry. This system meets all of our monitoring needs. As a NATA accredited laboratory we require a high specification, and this system fits the bill! Now we can get rid of our old manual labour system and have improved continuous monitoring.
Very easy to set up and use. Steve's customer care was and still is fantastic, allowing us to set up and start using the system very quickly.

These devices are fantastic
Steve has always been extremely helpful and responsive.
While they are marketed as refrigeration devices, we use them to monitor our on-site Server and networking hardware, which is running critical projects.
After discussing our requirements with Steve and tweaking the temperature and humidity ranges, we were away.
The use cases for these devices are endless—wine cellars, art collections, and server rooms are just a few examples.

We have had these in operation for over two years and have expanded their use to other sites in that time.
In that time, they have worked flawlessly.
The web login and the mobile application are fantastic, well laid out and easy to use.
SMS, Email and App alerts are great to hear when one of the parameters has been breached.
Setup was a breeze; the devices came preconfigured to our requested settings.
No maintenance is needed
Steve and his team quickly make any necessary parameter changes.
The accuracy and speed of the alerts are amazing, and the fact that they run on a cellular network is a huge benefit.
Our previous system ran on the main network, so it was useless if the root cause of an issue had affected the network.

The daily and weekly reports are easy to read and understand and very good for tracking changes.

I highly recommend these devices and this company to anyone who requires temperature monitoring no matter the scenario.

We recently installed sentry sensor systems in all of our refrigerators, freezers, and -80's at the Sydney Institute of Marine Science and could not be happier with the systems or our experience with Steve and the team at Sentry Temperature Monitoring. As a non-profit we struggled to find an affordable system that met our needs and are lucky to have found this one. It is cost-effective, easy to install the hardware, easy to use the app and Steve could not have been more patient and generous with his time in helping us to commission the system. I was put onto this product by our local fridgie. I have now installed it into all of our onsite freezers and chillers. It is essential that I know when temperatures go out of spec in these units, to protect our stock. With Steve's assistance we got all the units installed, and we are now in the process of putting monitors into our trucks so that the temperatures can be monitored remotely.
All of these units give us the ability to hold the temperature records for future reference, indefinitely.

The level of service and flexibility of Steve has been at a high level, Steve altered one of the products overnight to suit our needs. The coolroom monitoring devices are easy to use, reliable and very cost effective. We are loving these devices at our multiple sites and feel are the best on market compared to other products we considered. I have been using this system for the past 4+ years without issue. The technology is upgraded from time to time and has the absolute best backup assistance I’ve encountered is a phone call away. It works flawlessly in all areas as this is a requirement I had when I first spoke to Steve about the system as I work in the wild game industry and run a mobile cold room with GPS positioning and multiple core Tempreature meat probes constantly feeding information to Safe Food Queensland and my mobile.

I would highly recommend this system without hesitation.

Software Upgrade for sensors. Company advised that an upgrade was available and that all existing sensors need to be reconfigured as both Collectors and Sensors will eventually by upgraded to new platform. This involved returning them . AFSTC sent replacement sensors to cater for this. They were returned in a timely manner and with instructions provided were placed back into prooduction

We have a food manufacturing factory with a number of onsite and offsite coolrooms that need tracking. we have used Sentry and Steve for a few years now and they have been a quality supplier. Their system works well and they are easy to deal with and responsive with problems and questions. We would recommend them.

I am involved with AFSTC (Sentry Temperature Monitoring) as an agent. I became aware of it through a related business involved with commercial refrigeration. I would often have clients tell me about unforeseen failures of their fridges and the large costs involved incurred in dumping of spoiled produced as a result. Sentry provides a very reliable, cost effective, silent sentinel, 24/7. It also provides daily emailed reports which can be down loaded and used for Health Department purposes. With three different products - Centaur, Watchman and Guardian - it has a solution for every temperature monitoring situation. A fourth product, TempCheck, which is used for logging temperature spot checks - incoming and outgoing goods - rounds out the range.
In the time I have been selling and installing Sentry products I have saved some of my clients many times the cost of their systems in produce which was not thrown out. Nearly every one of my clients has had at least one major product save. One of my fishmonger clients was sitting down to dinner Singapore when Sentry sent him an automated SMS advising that his cool room was warming up. He was able to call one of his staff and have them rescue approximately $20,000 worth of stock. One of my IGA clients had a large freezer room accidentally switched off during a heat wave. Luckily the manager and key staff received SMS's at 1am advising them that the temperature was above the designated range. Around $35,000 worth of frozen food was saved. These occurrences happen regularly. It gives me great satisfaction when we have a "save". I am very pleased to be involved with Sentry. It's an Aussie owned and developed product. Very impressive.

We installed the Watchman WIFI system to monitor our laboratory fridges and freezers and are very impressed with the sensor's reliability and performance over the last 1 year. The ordered sensors arrived on time, they were extremely easy to install (just plug and play) and the service provided by Afstc staff (Steve in particular) is superb. Emails are answered within a day and we have easily been able to get in touch with someone over the phone for urgent matters. The website monitoring platform works well and so does the mobile monitoring app. The emailed reports are also very useful. We would highly recommend the system to other laboratory users.

Set up of equipment is simple, ongoing maintenance is zero (batteries need replacing once a year.
This automated system pays for itself in a short period of time.
