We had a great experience with our guide Hilkia Kassandra during our trip through Namibia. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, demonstrating a lot of knowledge of the region and providing very useful information. He was always willing to help, always in a good mood, and took care of every detail to ensure our trip was perfect.

Hofni took my friend and I on an 8 day excursion around Namibia. Our experience would not have been the same without him! He recommended and arranged an amazing private tour for us that we wouldn’t have known about had he not mentioned it. He’s also the most amazing wildlife spotter on game drives! One of the best tour experiences I’ve had in the many countries I’ve visited.

This specific tour was 8 days in Namibia. Our guide, Hofni, was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. When I head back to Africa, I’ll be requesting him specifically.

Our two-week round trip from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth from October 22, 2025, to November 6, 2025, was a dream—perfectly organized, varied, and a real highlight thanks to our tour guide Gabriela Biljohn.
Gabriela was simply amazing: With her extensive knowledge of the country, its people, and its history, she gave us a very special insight into South Africa. She had fascinating stories to tell both during the trips and at each individual destination. We were particularly impressed by how sensitively and knowledgeably she talked about the townships and the living conditions there. At the same time, she was our driver – always anticipating, safe, and absolutely confident on the road. We felt we were in good hands at all times.
The culinary side of the trip was also excellent: all the restaurants selected were varied, authentic, and consistently delicious. The entire itinerary was entertaining and diverse—no two days were alike, and yet everything came together harmoniously to create a perfect overall experience.
One highlight was the visit to Addo Elephant National Park, where we gained fascinating insights into Africa's impressive wildlife. Wine tastings and an active paddling excursion rounded off the program.
Our travel group of seven people harmonized wonderfully – we had an incredible amount of fun together and shared many wonderful moments.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Gabriela once again for this extraordinary travel experience.

It was a perfect mix of a great guide, a nice group and an impressive country. With his experience of many years in South Africa, Uli managed to allow us to get a very authentic impression of the country, the nature and its people. We are looking forward to revisiting South Africa, may be next time with the chance to meet Uli’s wife as well!

Our 13-day tour with Namibia Experience was excellent, especially because of our driver-guide Simon. He was always helpful, considerate, funny and very knowledgeable. The tour fulfilled our expectations. The mix of accommodation (hotels, tent camps etc) was well chosen.

Our 14-day tour of South Africa was excellently planned, organised and executed. All accommodation and meals were very good. The guide is very important on such a tour and he (Steve) was perfect. Very good german language, perfect organizer, safe driver, great networker along the tour, group leader with respect and humor. Him belongs a great amount of the success of the tour.

I joined this tour as a solo traveller, and it turned out to be one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. Our group was small and very nice — five people plus our guide Pierre during the first part of the trip, and then six people in the second part after two new travellers joined. It was a great mix and we had a lot of fun together.

The tour gives you a fantastic overview of the diversity of South Africa — something I hadn’t fully realised before joining. The northern part was particularly exciting for me, especially the safaris and game drives, which were a real highlight. But I also loved the time in the Drakensberg mountains and the visit to Eswatini (Swaziland).

The second part of the journey, flying down to George and travelling along the Garden Route, showed yet another side of the country — beautiful beaches, coastal scenery, and a wonderful contrast to the north.

Pierre was an excellent guide throughout. Everything was well organised, from the lodges to the activities, and his knowledge and passion for South Africa were impressive. He always had something interesting to share — about the country, its history, nature, and people. You can tell he truly loves what he does and wants travellers to understand and appreciate his country as much as he does.

If I had tried to do this trip alone or with a friend by car, I would never have seen so much or learned as much in such a short time. I can highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the beauty, culture, and contrasts of South Africa in a well-organised and meaningful way.

We, a group of six, later ten, spent three weeks in South Africa, everything well organized by Africa-Experience. First two weeks North East, National Parks, Eswatini, last week scenic travelling in the South West. All the time with us was their employee Steve Brown, an extremly knowlegdeable local guide - and also a very pleasant person to be with in general.
Steve drove us around in a comfortable bus, booked restaurants, helped with the check-ins in the lodges, told us about the country and the way people live and and and. His German is excellent, as his driving skills: not a single questionable manoeuvre in all those many hours. Note: not only in the parks he seems to spot and then also know all birds, mammals, lizzards, insects around...amazing.
I can only recommend this company and would go with them immediately again!

A varied trip that gave us a diverse impression of the country. Steve brought South Africa closer to us with his wide-ranging knowledge and experience, making the vacation an unforgettable experience. Communication when booking the trip was quick and easy. Extremely beautiful accommodations.

We experienced an excellent and well-balanced three-week tour of South Africa. We traveled in a pleasant small group with a modern, comfortable minibus. The trip was absolutely amazing and very well organized. We had the best guide, Steve—he always goes the extra mile.

Beautiful country sites, abrilliant tour guide, asmall and 'gelling' tour group. The company selected the highlights of the diverse country sites in addition to excellent accommodations and comfortable travel means. Our tour guide (PP) was a knowledgeable, enthusiatic and approachable person who put everyone in the group at ease (right peron for the right job). One aspect woth noting was that the organisers brought us only in contact with the 20 % (white) population. Exposure to the diversity of 'local and common man' food and culture of the 80% (non-white) population would have been an enrichment for the group to get at least a slim peak of the entire culture of SA. Hearing about District 6 went into the right direction.
Overall Africa-Experience did a wonderful job !!!! thank you !!!! Well done.
