Do not use this company! These deceptive people are masquaerading as a nice family owned business. They are just middlemen that sub contract the dumpsters and you are at the mercy of the sub contractor.
In my case I rented a 20 yard dumpster for $439 with a 2000lb limit which was plenty for our needs. The dumpster wasn't even 1/2 full but they produced a land fill ticket for 6090 lbs resulting in additional charge of $547. The weight ticket they provided simply isn't possible.
There are plenty of dumpster companies out there that own their dumpsters and have maximum weight levels twice as much as this group. Good luck if you use this company.

These people are ripping off people advertising as affordable but are overcharging for their services. I was charged $400 for a 15 ton dumpster that wasn't full but after they picked it up they charged me an additional $90 saying that the dumpster is over the weight limit.

"Affordable Dumpster" is a total misnomer. They spend their time warning you about other companies' hidden fees just to distract you from their own. My project was light by any standard, yet I was hit with heavy overcharge fees. When I asked for an explanation, I was given a fabricated story and a questionable receipt. They aren't the "honest guys" they claim to be—they’re just better at hiding the truth until the bill arrives.

When it came time to pick up the dumpster, my plow guy just left and he couldn’t make it up the hill apparently and so they ended up charging me $250. It was very clear. I had two of my friends come up right after to help me pack and then when they finally did remove it, they wanted to charge me for the extra week very disappointed extremely

They are a not a dumpster rental company they are an internet scam company that triples the fees of actual dumpster companies. Be aware they will rip you off!

Ordered Dumpster and it wasn't delivered. It took me calling them to find out why. No one returned my call, found out I need a permit to have it parked on road. I had to constantly call them. I cancelled and they still billed me. Make sure you read all the contract!! I wish I would have read all the reviews on here before.

told the person that my dumpster was ready for pickup i called on January 20.Was told it would be 3 or 4 days.I said it couldn’t be on Wednesday the 21st because my son was moving and there would be moving trucks.So what did they do they expedited it to that Wednesday and never told me this.So they charged me 250.00 cause they couldn’t get to it.Spoke with a person named jasmine on 27th of January and she said they messed up and it should be refunded and a hour later said it wouldn’t be.They don’t give you a exact day for pickup or notify you when they are coming.I guess your supposed to park on the street for a week cause you don’t know when they are coming.Rip off company.Stay away

I rented a 30 gallon dumpster for 10 days but had it for 3 days. After the pick up I received an EXTRA!!!! 310.40 bill saying that it was a 5,140lbs EXTRA WEIGHT!!!! For snow and ice frozen debris!!!!! I live in MICHIGAN!!!!!! IT’S IN THE DEAD OF WINTER!!!!!!! My husband and I called to ask them what was those charges for and all they could say is for them taking it to the land field and them having to take the ice debris off the dumpster!!! I said what did you say!!!!! What are you talking about! It’s winter and the dumpster is open!!!! Why are you guys renting out dumpsters in the winter and charging people for removing snow and ice! The rep said that it’s on there contract! I didn’t see anything about that and if I did there is no way I would have rented it!!! It doesn’t make sense!!!! So we initially paid 469.00 and then sent us another bill for the fraud charges of 310.40!! This is not the first review concerning the exact same thing that I’m saying!!!! Please someone close this company DOWN!!!! They are robbing people!!!!! Please beware of this company affordable dumbing! There is nothing affordable from this company!!!!!

I do not recommend using this company. I will share their pros and cons, but if you need a solid delivery date and a solid quote, save you time and go with another company.



I started looking for a dumpster for a project on December 18th. Sent several requests to 10+ companies, and ADR was by far the fastest to respond. I had a phone call response in under 15 minutes from when I sent a quote request in. This is where I praise ADR, their customer-facing staff is excellent. I'll speak to my issue with ADR in a moment, but even during that discussion their customer-facing staff is very professional. I wasn't ready to make a commitment to a company at that point as I wanted to see all my options, but by the end of the day I made my decision and made a deposit that night. ADR was the second lowest price of all my quotes, but it was their staff that sold me. I felt like they really wanted my business, and that's rare today. This is where my praise for ADR ends.



On December 19th, I get a call in response to my deposit, and we finalize the delivery date, location, dumpster size, length of rental, etc. Dumpster would be delivered on December 29th and picked up on January 4th. The delivery and pickup would be sometime during the day on those days, but that was ok with my timeline. I needed the dumpster there on the 29th but not having it a full workday was fine as my crew was showing up that day and would have some prep anyway. I paid the agreed amount and waited for December 29th.



On the morning of December 29th, I got a phone call from ADR, explaining that delivery would be delayed to December 30th. According to ADR, a truck had mechanical issues, and they would need to send a different one the next day. For me this was a pain, but the contract stated ADR is not liable for lost time on my part. Fair enough, I'm not happy about it, but there is nothing else I can do about it. But immediately after telling me my delivery would be delayed, I'm told I will need to pay an additional "distance fee", roughly a 12% increase in cost from what I had already agreed to and paid. At this point ADR did offer to cancel my contract and full refund with no penalty, but my timeline was the issue. Every company I contacted had a minimum week's lead time, so canceling was not an option.



At this point my options were to pay the surprise fee or pay significantly more to send the crew out in a week or two. Delaying was not a good option. ADR got me good, well played.



I agreed to the fee and delivery change and explained I would be leaving reviews of the company. The ADR staff on the phone understood, and as I said, was very polite. The last thing to note, I did not get an additional day of rental; the pickup was still scheduled for January 4th.



On December 30th, after 3:30 pm I got a text from the crew and a picture of the dumpster in the driveway. Functionally, two days my crew went without the dumpster.



So, I received my service late, did not get an increase in service time, and received a 12% increase in price for my trouble. I will need a dumpster again before this project is done, but I will not be contacting ADR. I need the product that I pay for at agreed upon time and the agreed upon amount.

I rented a 30-yard dumpster from Affordable Dumpster Rental, without realizing that I wasn't dealing with a real dumpster rental company, but rather an online intermediary service. They don't own the equipment, they don't handle the transportation, and they definitely don't take responsibility. Their business model is simple and dubious: they subcontract a local transportation company, increase the price after picking up the dumpster from your house, and seek to profit enormously from hidden fees after the pickup.

The dumpster we rented from them exceeded the equivalent of 10,640 pounds of extra weight in a single dumpster of debris, even though the initial contract was for 3,000 pounds, with a value of $449 paid in advance before delivery. However, twenty-two days after the dumpster was removed from my house, I was surprised by an email with a new invoice, adding to my initial order a total now of 13,640 pounds of debris, "according to them at ADR," all resulting from a renovation consisting of drywall and some wood from removed walls. This incredible total of 13,640 pounds (more than 6.5 tons) was removed from a simple renovation. This additional weight of 10,640 pounds is absurdly ridiculous and questionable. Wait a minute, I renovated my house, I didn't demolish it! Even so, they expect customers to simply accept and believe that this absurd extra weight was removed from their house and pay the difference without question.

Finally, when I asked for proof, they simply sent a very homemade receipt with very little information, but with a flaw: the disposal date was the day after the dumpster was removed from my house. The disposal receipt indicated that the dumpster was taken to the landfill on November 18, 2025, with the disposal occurring the day after the dumpster was removed from my house, which was November 17, 2025. In short, the disposal took place more than 24 hours after the collection.

Well, I "caught them in the act," and logically, they still had the nerve to tell me by email that this is their standard practice, that they take the dumpster to their yard and dispose of the debris the next day at the landfill! What? Seriously? This is now their argument for a small company that subcontracts other local dumpster companies; this is their argument now for this abusive charge, in addition to the endless phone calls and emails demanding payment. And with this company, it's always the same argument without proof. Their argument now is that I need to pay an additional $1170 on top of the initial $449 paid – that was my case.
The reported weight simply doesn't make sense for what was actually in the dumpster. I am absolutely certain that the dumpster disposed of at the landfill the next day was not the one from my house.

Since then, I have spoken with other people and contractors in the city who have had frighteningly similar experiences with this company, with low initial prices to attract customers, followed by completely suspicious and hidden extra fees after the dumpster collection, and evasive and abusive customer service. It seems to be a pattern with this company.

Now I am evaluating legal options with our lawyer, and finally, a recommendation: they only managed to get the initial fair price from me, which was what I contracted for – $449 for 3000 pounds of debris – because at the time of registration I made the initial payment with a virtual card from my account that I always discard after using it only once. This way, I protect myself from companies and people with this type of dubious behavior. This is a warning to those reading this report.

In short: this company relies on the fact that many people and companies don't question the hidden, abusive charges that appear later, because many of them don't even check their bank statements. By the time they notice, the money has already been withdrawn from their account, and getting a refund is much more difficult with these types of unscrupulous companies that continue these practices in the service industry.

SO BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY, IT IS NOT SERIOUS AND NOT TRUSTWORTHY! BEWARE!

Terrible service. Hidden 250$ fee. Very hard to work with and unreliable. Worse then 1 star honestly.

I received a 20 yard dumpster and filled it mostly insulation batting, ceiling tile, pvc pipes, cpvc pipes. abs plastic and foam packing. I did add some carpeting squares and ground trash which was the only heavy stuff and it was not filled fully. When I got the bill which was almost a month later they charged me for over 8,000 lbs. and there is no way it was over 2000 - 3000 lbs. They have no way of proving that was a correct weight they just take the dump/transfer station word. DO Not use this company I feel like I was cheated.

The company provided a smaller bin and delivered early because they didn’t have capacity to drop off on original date . and then bugged about pick up . When it was already advised .
They also charged us an additional $200 for weight which they had advised don’t try other companies as they charge hidden fees well this is there hidden fee they advise the weight will be fine with what you have then charge double . I had used another company before and there bin was bigger and no additional fees . Should have used them again . You have the option to shop around I wouldn’t use this company !!

filled a 10 yard dumpster with about 90% close, the rest was roughly household items like vases, dishers, bowls, nothing heavy and they said I went over weight. I use dumpsters all the time and feel for the load I did was nowhere what they said it was. I will never use them again and will be informing all buy landlords and builder not to use this company

Rented a 10yd dumpster and 30day permit for 12days. The dumpster arrived and was removed a day afterwards. I did not use it and thought it was stolen. A police report was filed and multiple call, text messages and emails were sent to the company to notify. I was not contacted by a representative from the company. I tried reaching out to the company for a few days. I finally reached a representative who informed me that they picked up the dumpster prematurely citing permit issues. After complaining and spending extra money for an alternative solution, the dumpster was returned. I reviewed my bill and saw a 75$ charge that WAS NOT explained. The dumpster was picked up after use. I received a phone call on 22Dec2025 from the company stating that I owe 250 for going 1000lbs over the weight limit which is clearly a lie. We dumped several contractor bags of debris and it did NOT go over the line on the dumpster. I explained my grievances with the representative who did NOT offer a name or position. Affordable dumpster is a predatory business. I had a horrible experience and would not recommend using them.

SCAM alert. Do not use this compay. quoted me 380.00 and charged over 800.00. Rained the day before pickup, drywall and wood made dumpster heavier, accoring to them. This was the smallest 10 yard dumpster. They are a total rip off.

Deceptive business practices. Dumpster was not dimensions advertised (although technically of contracted yardage) and was too tall to open into garage. A ladder was need to fill it to capacity. I was also assessed two surcharges. One for exceeding a week's time (delivered on Monday afternoon and notified dumpster could be picked up the following Sunday). Another surcharge for over 50% of contracted price for exceeding a 1 ton weight limit on a 20 yard dumpster. This is outlined in the contract, but 99% of consumer's will have no appreciation for what is typical of a full 20 yard dumpster (at least twice this amount). Given the other issues encountered, I can't trust the weight I was charged for, nor do I have any way to verify. Additionally, this is not a local company but is using local numbers, and somehow they have figured out how to circumvent providing Google Review directly to the engine. I have left nearly 20 reviews over the last 15 years and this is first time I was unable to leave a review directly in Google.

Do not use!! their overage per ton is crazy

My credit card was charged $357.20 without authorization four weeks after renting a 10 Yard dumpster and paying $389. Affordable Dumpster Rental emailed another invoice indicating the charge is for Extra Weight, i.e., "The landfill billed us for 4,760 lbs. We paid 1000 lbs in the original price. Now we are billing for the extra 3,760 lbs @ $95.00 per 1000 = $357.20." I called to request a copy of the landfill bill and was sent to voice mail to leave a message. In retrospect, I had checked reviews prior to renting but did not see the ones I am seeing today that all say the same thing. Do not use Affordable Dumpster Rental in Las Vegas, they will have you sign a lot of paperwork before rental and then charge your credit card weeks later for about double the amount for "Extra Weight." Take heed!

I called for a quote they were much higher than other dumpster rental companies and told them I would be using another company. For over a week I keep getting texts and emails from them. I’ve entered stop multiple times and called twice and get told they can’t delete me from their database I never used this company and will make sure I never do. This is so unprofessional and border line harassment.
