We have used Activated Electrical several times and the latest was a small job fitting an additional socket. The work carried out as discussed and quickly, neatly and any mess was cleaned up and the room left spotless. We are very happy with James work and would highly recommend. We also believe in supporting local tradesmen particularly when the work is exemplary.

James is the consummate professional. Arrives on time, and doesn't leave until he has completed all work to his complete satisfaction and to a very high standard. Cleans up after the job is finished too. I had issues with random circuit tripping. James had to remove and replace consumer unit from a very awkward location within my house. I simply cannot recommend Activate Electrical highly enough.

James was extremely flexible after I changed the inspection dates more than once and when he attended he made me feel very comfortable that I was in safe hands. Furthermore, having discovered a serious issue with the mains meter James helped to get this resolved when the network operator (SSE) and utility company (EON) were arguing for 4 hours as to whose responsibility it was to fix the 'emergency'. He calmly helped get the issue resolved.

James is a rare find.
He's great at his job and he cares more about it being done well than you do.

James has completed work for us on a number of occasions and has always provided an excellent service. I had an issue with a night storage heater that was displaying fault codes and switching to safe mode. I contacted Dimplex but was unable to source one of their listed recommended engineers. I contacted James and although this was not within his remit he used his knowledge and contacts to diagnose the fault, locate and fit the replacement part to overcome the problem.

James has carried out two jobs for us, both with a satisfactory outcome. The latest was to provide an EICR report. He also made helpful suggestions about how we might rectify some code 3 issues. He was here all day and can vouch that his work was carried out in a diligent fashion and cleared up before he left. Would highly recommend and will almost certainly be using him at our new property.

James has done several jobs for our village hall. We are very happy with the standard and quality of James' work. He is reliable, tidy, knowledgeable and friendly. His charges are reasonable too - thoroughly recommended.
