I hired Action Pest Control as I have been having some problems with mice. I cannot say they did a thorough job as I didn't see the rep go in my crawl space or attic.
My boyfriend set up 2 traps anyway and was successful of getting 2 more mice. Then I received an email and a phone call that they will be coming out here on Feb 5 as part of the contract. Unfortunately the rep had me sign a contract that I thought was just part of the 1 day service however it was for quarterly service which he never explained. I did tell him that I am putting my home up for sale soon but again did not tell me about the quarterly service. I am a senior and I believe I was coerced into signing a contract. I will reports this to the BBB and to the Ombudsman

Hired them for normal path, then got a mouse. They came out and put little boxes. In the meantime, I killed 4 mice in mice. Traps, call them out, show them mice droppings. He said, if they're black, that means it's new and brown means it's old. I looked online, and that was a lie. My mice traps kill two more, called them back to see if they're eating the things out of the box. That guy who came out picked up the box, it felt wet he dropped it, he was so scared. MeantimeI did call the office twice in complaint. Found another exterminator who bombed the attic bombed underneath the house. Put really large boxes with kill traps in them, and he's gotten four out.I'm seriously infested. I called the company and they said, I should have told them they would have sent a supervisor out. By now, I screamed at them because I did call and called !

Derek and the team from Action Pest Management were professional, through and conscientious. They came by multiple times: initial assessment, full house exterior work on any spots of entrance and then when it was the right time the final touches of blocking the bats from coming back! This was my second exterminator and should have called them first. They also have the certificate required for bat removal as well as provide a 3-year guarantee. #BestintheBerkshires !

Action pest control van illegally parked on yellow box at Torquay Harbour blocking the bus from moving for about 15 mins. The driver was quite rude when he returned.. Bad company representative

We had a horrible roach problem and all the big exterminator company's wanted 500 and we found ACTION Pest control and they were half that and did a super job and that includes a second round. I would recommend them highly.

I agree with all the one star reviews on this site. We were refinancing our home and needed an updated termite certification. I called on a Wednesday and spoke to a woman in the office. I gave her all of my information and she scheduled my appointment for that Friday between nine and ten a.m. At ten a.m. on that Friday, I called to find out what was going on and what time the inspector would arrive. I spoke to two women who had no idea what I was talking about and said they had absolutely no information about me in their system. When I told them I made the appointment two days earlier, they completely dismissed any inconvenience they caused me, not even an apology. As I tried to address the problem and the fact that I took time off from work to meet the inspector, they continued to dismiss what I was saying and had a very poor condescending attitude about the entire thing. Once I told them I couldn't wait any longer, the woman was very patronizing, not once did she or anyone else I spoke to apologize or even acknowledge their mistake.

One treatment was 2K, did not get the job done.

Simply the best company to use. Had a major tick infestation and their green pest control solution worked wonders. Would highly recommend this company and their techs.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. HAD TECH COME TO MY HOME 2 DAYS AGO FOR PEST CONTROL. TECH DID NOT GO ON ROOF WHERE I BELIEVE ACCESS POINT IS. CAN STILL HEAR ANIMAL IN MY HOME. CALLED ACTION TODAY FOR HELP, WAS TOLD THEY HAVE NO APPTS AVAILABLE TODAY OR MONDAY AND TO "CALL ANOTHER COMPANY"! I INTEND TO CANCEL MY YEARLY INSECT CONTROL CONTRACT WITH THEM.

I paid $250 for treatment for ants. First the tech sprayed my arm while treating. (I was sitting on porch swing [he just chuckled and said sprayer got away from him!]. Then after only 5 weeks ants started reappearing. They would not do a follow up unless I paid another $250 because it was outside of 30 days!! My sister used gold seal/presto-x and they follow up as many times as necessary with NO CHARGE!!! Should have talked with my sister first!!!! Would NEVER RECOMMEND this company!!

The worst customer service as a Pest Control company.
We set up the account a week ago and had the first time service (we r paying for 20 minutes). The technician came in for approximately 10 minutes only, only spayed on the side of walls, not even making any check point or asking if there is any issues. I contact the office the next day and did not heard back for 5 days. Called the office and finally get a phone call back, Todd Lorah, was not willing to listen and started accusing on our account, stating " we don't want your money. We are not going to services you and your account is cancelled." Then hang up. Wouldn't even listen to the problem and start pushing all the problem back on the customer. Not acceptable. Sloppy service and Very very disappointing service. Contact the corporate office again and still didn't hear anything, still waiting for an explanation.

I had a termite treatment last year. But termite came back again this summer. I called Action and they agreed to treat part of my house again (two sides of along the house where live termites were found again this year). Jay came to my house on 6/30. He is a nice guy and did a very good job to explain termite treatment and the chemicals to me. He treated the two sides of my house again with their chemicals liquid. Hopefully this time the termite colony around my house can be killed.

First of all, the current staff and service people at Action Termite are excellent! However, if we truly understood what our policy with them truly meant, we would have looked for a better policy either with them or someone else. The original service person that we encountered either couldn't provide us with more accurate detailed policy information or wouldn't. We will never know.

Tech did a fine job with latest chemical treatment.

After 4 years the termites came back in the same area. We have been checked yearly. Unfortunately, at the annual inspection recently the terminates were BACK. I am very disappointed that I am waiting 10 days for an Exterminator to destroy the little buggers. i feel the pests are eating away at my sheetrock while I wait. Am I waiting because I don't have damange control or is this the way it is?

Action continues to give consistent, professional,trustworthy service. We are lifers☺

I met the service man who greeted me nice, however he did not bring a ladder. How do you inspect the area I saw carpenter ants in without a ladder! I loaned him my ladder which I thought was very unprofessional on his part. He treated my attic and I specifically had asked him to put the treatment behind all my storage containers which were neatly arranged in a circle. I told him I would be moving soon and I don't want to be kneeling on poison when I retrieve my containers from the attic. When it was over I thanked him and I even tipped him $10.00 for his efforts. Then he handed me a pen to sign the contract and I said "Hey your handing me a pen with the same glove on that you were touching the poison with!" He said it wont hurt you. Then 2 weeks later I went up in the attic to retrieve a box and low and behold I couldn't kneel anywhere because there were poison crystals everywhere I looked! I was so mad! Now I had to put a mask on and sweep the entire attic and wipe down all my boxes! I was going to use this company at the new home I'm buying but forget it!!!! I will never use them again.

They came out to us on a short notice, and did a great job. Their treatments were effective, and they worked around our busy schedule. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs pest services. They did a great job, were reasonable in price, and were pleasant to deal with.
