I booked my UCPA wintersport trips last year and this year via Action Outdoors. For non-French speaking, it is super nice and convenient. For both booking, I requested helps for solving and answering questions. First time I would like to upgrade my trip after booking and second time I accidentally booked a wrong package and need to correct it asap before the right one sold out. They helped me to solve all the problem in one or two days. During the process, they keep me posted either via email or online chatting. I am very positive on their service. Thanks Kasia and Fiona for all the support!

I had a wonderful time in Tignes UCPA as a solo traveller, easy communication and booking including the transfer from the airport with Action Outdoors.The UCPA had comfy beds, and good hot, albeit cramped showers. Lots of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Events every night from ping-pong tournaments to fancy dress discos. Had no trouble making some fantastic friends to spend the week skiing with. Staff were very accommodating with personal gear, good quality albeit worn rental gear and easy check-in checkout process at the start and end of the trip. The ski lessons were great, with good instruction and openness to try to focus on the priorities of individuals in the group as much as possible.

Would happily book with Action Outdoors again.

Used Action Outdoors twice for stays at Val d'Isere and Val Thorens. Everything went smooth with no issues during the booking. They as well always helped our group with any queries. Super recommended since they make things easier and well worth the money. They make skiing trips more affordable for sure, with everything that you get in the package.

My experience with Action Outdoors has been exceptional. Besides being great value for your money, it is a holiday that solidifies new and present friendships, accelerates your capabilities and the confidence to discover all the mountain’s have to offer.

The lessons are rigorous but the meals are plentiful with much variety. I highly enjoyed the afternoon’s tea and cake.

These action outdoor trips are now a staple in my yearly travels that gives me the chance to reset, exercise and catch up with my fellow snow enthusiasts.

Very good value for money. We stayed at a few different UCPA location and we always enjoyed our trips. Good food, good instructors, good location! This year we stayed at the UCPA in Val Thorens and I loved the fact that we could easily ski in / ski out. Highly recommend it!

If you book a short-break ski - 4 days and include the transfers, It will be only 3 days because they will send the transfers on the morning of the last day. And if you cancel this early transfers, They won't refund you. They keep your money, can you believe!!! And the company SIMPLY transfers that Action Outdoors operate together, the people are rude and can turn-off the phone when you are trying to resolve a problem with the time of your transfers.
I don't recommend booking with this company, better book direct on UCPA. Action outdoors is selling UCPA ski Holidays. When you are in the UCPA Holidays and Hotel, they can't help you too much if you had made the deal with Actions Outdoors. UCPA can recommend plenty of other companies of transfers better and the price is the same between all others.
Carefully when Action Outdoors is telling that they the same company of UCPA, They are not. UCPA keep me very clear they are English company selling French Holidays from UCPA. In UCPA they told me very clearly they can't help me if I bought from Actions Outdoors. I recommend book it directly at UCPA.
