I have a lifetime license of Video Converter Ultimate which works in W10 but not in W11 even though I downloaded the latest version. I have written to Acrok support three times in three weeks but just like many other customers they do not respond.
My advice to others is to choose another software from another company.
I purchased Acrok Ultimate Converter, based largely on claims on their website, and what strike me now as phony reviews. It simply would not load the BR DVD I wanted to convert. I even bought a second copy and wore exam gloves when I loaded it. Couldn't have been the disc. No luck. I emailed suport twice but they NEVER responded. I read another complaint saying the same thing. Finally I made a claim with my CC company, who I suspect never got a response either, since they fairly quickly resolved my complaint and reimbursed my account. This company is pure fairy dust. DO NOT BUY.
So, I purchased this a few months ago, and it takes hours to do one bluray, and about an hour to do a dvd... just converting it to mp4, I also keep getting errors, I have e-mailed Acrok 3 times and never get a reply. I am now at the point where, I really just want my money back and don't know how to get ahold of them
Trash product, worked great until Oct/Nov 2024, now when you load a Blu-ray disk it bombs out at 4% and tells you to contact support, but they never respond, have attempted to contact several times
Acrok pushed out an update 6 weeks ago and now the software will not load blurays - it gets to 4% downloading AACS keys and then gives you an error that it can not load the disc and advises you to contact support. Over 41 days later, 9 requests later - ZERO response from Acrok. The software is currently useless for blurays - Acrok took the money for worthless software and will not respond.
Have tried contacting support twice with no response.
Bought a lifetime subscription years ago and suddenly I need a Mac Plugin and tells me to reach out for customer support. Been trying for months!!! Horrible
