DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- THEY DO NOT SEND THE GOODS AND DO NOT ISSUE A REFUND. I am having to go via Klarna to issue a dispute and i am £100s out of pocket. Totally corrupt.
Purchased Aqua Di Parma diffuser, once opened it was half used up within a couple of weeks, wrote to them but just got palmed off, will never purchase their products again, it definitely underperforme... See more
Since 1916, Acqua di Parma has embodied the essence of Italian refinement and the Arte di Vivere. Beginning with the iconic Colonia and shaped by the vision of Baron Carlo Magnani, the Maison has consistently transformed complexity into effortless elegance, blending traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary outlook. Its fragrances and objects, conceived as expressions of refined luxury, convey a vibrant spirit that, more than a century late, continues to define the heart of the Maison. The visual identity remains rooted in its origins: the signature golden yellow inspired by Parma’s Baroque façades, the Art Deco bottle introduced in the 1930s, and the handcrafted hatbox inspired by the tailoring ateliers where Colonia was first worn on pocket squares. Each element reflects a city where beauty is part of everyday life. Through close collaborations with designers, artisans, perfumers, and creative talents, the Maison continually reinterprets its heritage, infusing it with contemporary energy while preserving its timeless character. Rooted in a longstanding tradition of exceptional craftsmanship, it places the individual at the center, celebrating human touch, intention, and the quiet distinction of well-made objects and its iconic collections. Each collaboration enriches the vision of Italian living, offering interpretations that feel both modern and deeply connected to the Maison’s roots.

My order was canceled with the explanation: we cannot ship to Denmark with UPS due to lack of IMDG service due to ITA declaration of dangerous goods. Dangerous goods can only be sent via the surface.
Okay, figure out what that means! (That's pretty much the worst inside-out communication that I have ever had with a customer service - but I must say that they were very polite thoug).
So back and forth with customer service 5 times; what does it mean? can you send it by surface (of the earth I guess)? do you have another carrier? can I send it to another country in Europe (to my French family)? why does your website state that you can ship it to Denmark if you can't ? and so on. It took me a lot of time with customer service support to clarify the matter.
Anyway, no luck... So I had to buy Acqua di Parmas products from one of their competitors. I would at any time rather buy them directly from Acqua di Parma instead of a random perfume online shop where I can't be 100% sure of the quality and authenticity. And it is very strange that the competitor can send Acqua di Parmas products to Denmark from abroad when they themselves can't.
And maybe it would be a good idea to update your website with 'we ship to the following countries list'. (just a free suggestion since you haven't done it yet)
I hope that I will be able to recieve the products from your online shop one day very soon - it shouldn't be that difficult, your competitors know how to do it.
2nd car diffuser and it has broken again. Definitely not fit for purpose in hot weather. Shocking customer service also.
I ordered a candle for £59 on the 25th of January for a friends birthday in February. The candle didn't arrive in the advised time and upon checking the UPS tracking it appeared to be held up at customs. ADP confirmed this and contacted UPS to get things moving. I followed up on this a few weeks later as i had heard nothing.
A few days later ADP confirmed that the candle was being returned to them by UPS and that i would be issued a refund. Although ADP knew this product had never been delivered to me and confirmed this, they couldn't issue a refund until they received the candle back from UPS.
ADP confirmed a refund was approved 19 working days ago and that it would take 14 working days. When i emailed them i was told to just wait a few more days.
Various requests to speak to a manager have been ignored.
Given its now 31st may, the order was made in January and i haven't received any refund i’m not sure one will be forthcoming. I have initiated a chargeback with my card company.
Please do not order with ADP direct as their service is nothing short of a shambles for what is considered a luxury brand.
DONT ORDER FROM ADP. My order isn’t moving on tracking tried to contact them numerous times no answer whatsoever from email Instagram phone. SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don’t take peoples money if you can’t be bothered to deal with problems. My order is no use to me now as this was a gift for someone who traveled to visit but now my order is late they have gone back home
Zero customer service, staff unhelpful and with a 'computer says no' attitude. Wouldn't use again :(
I don't understand the poor experiences detailed by others. I have placed many orders and not once incurred import charges etc. The service and products are exceptional.
Took longer to arrive than expected, but when it did arrive the products I purchased were excellent and great packaging. If the products had arrived sooner or had I been informed that it was going to take longer I would have given 5 stars. I had read that people had been charged import tax when it had been delivered so was a little worried, but that did not happen and I would purchase again from this site.
Don't buy from them. they ask you to pay italien Vat and UK Vat + import duty.
I paid 512 £ and refused delivery because they asked for UK Vat + duty. I was refunded 62 £. they stole the rest of the money.
DONT EVER BUY ANYTHING
Appalling service when ordering direct on their website. They promise free delivery and delivery within 5 days. What they don’t tell you on their UK website is that there are delays due to Brexit, plus IMPORT taxes to pay.
I placed an order on 20th July costing £142. UPS attempted to deliver on 2nd August and wanted £44.26 tax surcharge, so I refused delivery and immediately contacted AdP Customer Service. Even at 4th September they claim they can’t process a refund because they haven’t received the product in their warehouse.
UPS invoiced me on 4th August for £44.26 and have now invoiced me for late payment! There is no way to contact UPS!! And AdP refuse to contact UPS to confirm it was a refused delivery.
Meanwhile I ordered the same product, for the same price, from John Lewis department store, picked it up 2 days later. Lovely product, lousy experience ordering direct.
Overall: avoid the AdP website, order from anywhere WITHIN the UK
Love the product but ordered directly from their website priced in UK £ (at the same prices you can buy from space no etc but they didn’t have the size perfume I wanted)….nasty shock when delivery arrived asking for a £50 import charge.
That should be included in the prices if the GB£ price is the same s those used by retailers! Very naughty….taking the VAT as profit and allowing HRMC to make you pay it again….
Absolutely terrible service.
Cancelled my order, claiming DPD had lost it after 2 months.
No option to re-send, and advised to set up a second account in order to receive complimentary gifts!
I ordered a birthday present from the UK over 1 month ago and still the company cannot tell me where it is or when it will arrive. Blaming Brexit and COVID, and now I have asked for a refund which is not forthcoming. I may need to ask my credit card company to pursue as per other reviews. AVOID!
Oh my god!! So happy with my recent purshase!Comlimentary box with initials, contents etc.
Actually one of the sample scient is on my list now.Definitely recommend ,they made my day🥰
Despite claiming to be the "UK on line boutique" the AdP website is the last place to go shopping. They have not adapted following Brexit which means that you'll pay the full recommended price (inc tax) when you order and then (for anything over £135) get an additional bill for UK tax, plus brokerage, from UPS. So you'll pay a premium of about 25%. As well as the now standard 3 week delay on delivery - not their fault.
I ordered a gift set of Fico Di Amalfi on my birthday - 28th December'20.. I still have nothing to show for the £79.00 that I have paid them. Tracking on UPS is useless and package is missing. Acqua though, refuse to give me a refund.. theft. Customer service have been as helpful as they could have been in trying to trace the item, but after a month, it's clearly not arriving and they still refuse to refund me. A shame, as I'm a huge fan..even been to the store in Rome and spent thousands with them over the years... but I'll never order directly with them again.
Bought a razor for £265 and went direct as they were offering complimentary gifts, the item arrived and no gifts. I have emailed them twice and no response. Really annoyed as could have bought this item cheaper elsewhere. Non existent customer service and hence the posting on here. Considering doing a chargeback on my credit card.
There website is the worst!
I bought the blue Christmas when it a arrived the box was open one product was broken and a other one damage contact there costumes service to get them replaced but they wanted me to send it all back because they don't replaced things.
I got the label to send it returns a week after I receive it.
Som way is godt send back to me again so I contacted costumes service again to hear if they not just could sent me the 2 product Isted og me using my time on running to ship it all the time trying to get it back.
There want a week for them to reply and they sent me a new label to sent it with and then can see if arrive
So all in all will take more than a month to get the money back there is not ok because they didn't ship it correctly
The worst customer service ever
Thankyou so much for Fico Di Amalfi! :*
