ANDREW CARR INSTALLER 'TOP MAN' !

Just had a stairlift installed by this brilliant company. Everything from the survey (Catherine) to installation was A1. Andrew Carr the technician arrived early but sat outside until the exact time for installation. What an absolute Gentleman ! He worked diligently, very neat work and gave a very full and detailed demonstration. He cleaned up and took away all the 📦 packaging. We really could not have asked for more from Andrew and this really brilliant company. Seriously recommended 👌 5*****

From making the first call thru…

From making the first call thru installation their system was flawless. The installer, Zuhare D., was efficient and respectable. I have had friends come to the house and when I show them the chair, the number one question is how does it charge? This is due to the fact that Zuhare took the time to ensure the cable was flat and flowed with the trim, is exactly how I would have done it.

Terrible company

They sold my terminally ill 80 year old mother a stair lift, when she could not even walk to the stairs, she had to be carried there! disgraceful. 4.5k charged.
it was used for a little over a week before she was admitted to a hospice and she died 12 days later. Just a few days over the 14 days cooling off period! NO MONEY OFFERED BACK or to collect it. Put on hold for ages and no response ! eventually got through and its 4 -6 weeks before they can collect it.

Every time I need a repair on the chair…

Every time I need a repair on the chair lift, which is many, it takes 2 weeks to a month for someone to come and fix it. I purchased it because I can not use the stairs so the repair time is unacceptable. I've had to get a hotel room just to wait for a repair since I live alone. People who buy this product obviously NEED it. Acorn needs to hire more technicians or make customers aware prior to purchase of the long waits for repair!

Purchase & Installation of Acorn Stairlift

The purchase process as well as the installation process of the Acorn Srairlift was a very pleasant experience. The customer service advisor and representatives were very professional and helpful during the ordering process. And the installer, Zuhare, was very knowledgeable and thorough during the installation process. He took time and precision to make sure it was installed perfectly, and was thorough in explaining the operation. Again, we were very pleased with the entire process.

Thank you for the excellent service

Frank Denges (correct spelling?) is the person who has visited our home each year on behalf of Acorn to go over our two units and make sure all is in order with them. He is very thorough with a very high work ethic; he is knowledgeable, efficient and has a wonderful personality. I always ask for him. He goes over everything with me and explains to me what he has done and why, and what I need to do. He has given me his cell phone number. He is outstanding. My husband was in management for over 60 years so I see things from the management point of view, whether I am a customer in a store or a patient in a medical office. Excellence needs to be recognized, especially in these days when many people are not willing to work at all or are just willing to do enough to get by, without pride in a job well done. Acorn is very fortunate to have Frank as their representative in the homes of their customers.

No payout

Was told because we used” refer a friend “to get our new stairlift we would both get £50. This would be sent out usually within 2 weeks. Almost three months later we are still without any money. Acorn quick in taking the money but not forthcoming paying out.

Can't Schedule Annual Maintenance

My lift was due for its annual maintenance about mid November. I called early in October for an appointment because the previous year it took at least a month for the technician to schedule. Having heard nothing, I called again before the end of November, again at least once in December, in January, and again the first week of February. Same response: A technician will call me when available. The person on the phone indicated they would expedite a response. I have heard nothing. I am dependent on the lift (because I share the house with family and my apartment is in the daylight basement) for medical appointments and anything social. I cannot safely use a walker to walk uphill around the house. And I have no idea when missing annual maintenance could cause a safety issue.

Acorn Stairlift's employee Gordan Early was prompt, worked quickly, polite, explained everything to us. He even let us try it out while he was here. He made sure we knew how to work it. He protected our floors, and cleaned up after himself. Good Man! Thank you Gordan Early

The salesman was great in explaining…

The salesman was great in explaining the Company, Product, that they manufacture their own products, no middle man, and the different options well. The Installer/Technician was also very pleasant & professional, worked hard and able to install perfectly, with no space to spare with my narrow stairway. Both answered all of my questions, I ordered it during Thanksgiving holiday, and still got my questions answered, customer service was great, and technician made sure I learned and understood how to use the stairlift, different options, how to keep it clean, etc. Answered even future questions about repair services, how to maintain the machines, etc. Excellent, attentive, detailed, and excellent instructions and materials to read, along with DVD.

Zuhare

Zuhare, who goes by. Z, was excellent. He provided amazing customer service was very respectful of our dogs in my husband, who is very ill. And helped out another person at my home who was doing some work and lifting something that was a little bit heavy. He went above and beyond.

Mr. Daher, great service

Mr. Zuhare Daher, did a great job in resolving the issue with our stairlift (depleated batteries). He completed the repair in a professional and quick manner. Zuhare, also ran a preventive maintenance check on the overall system, and explained in easy to understand terms for the customer what service he actually performed during his visit. As well as what common problems may pop up during usage, and how we may be able to prevent them from becoming serious. Mr.Daher, was a pleasure to work with, I look forward to him servicing our equipment next time the need arises.

Happy Acorn Chairlift Customer!

We have had our AcornStairlift many years now. Very happy with the after care, service, etc. Our Field Service Tech, James Dean, has always been very polite and knowledgeable regarding our chair. Thank you so much Acorn Chairlift!!!
