Got told a fixed fare from the airport for £12, charged £18. When called up to question it was told it was £6 for airport pick up. Nowhere was I told this and the response was atleast you know for next time. Taxi was late as it is and drop off at Norwich airport is less than £6. Absolutely disgusting

Let down on NYE. Company said we cancelled the booking which was not true. Could only offer a new taxi at 4am instead of original 1245am booking. Never had a problem when it was ABC. Not impressed with customer service when trying to sort problem. Will be very reluctant to use again.

Lied by staff on phone. Absolutely useless company now. Do not use.

What’s the point in booking when they don’t collect as scheduled. Joke

Booked a taxi with 7 hours notice for today at 1.40am. Have been waiting for 20 minutes with no sign of it, only for a notification to say the taxi is 10 minutes away. That's 30 minutes late. Why bother offering a "booking" service if doing so actually means nothing? If I booked a taxi for 1.40am, it should BE HERE BY 1.40AM.

I wish I had read the previous reviews before booking this useless company. I booked a 8-seater and paid in advance - £82! The taxi arrived 20 minutes early and then left 5 minutes before the scheduled time without even contacting us! I had come outside of the venue where we were at 3 minutes before our booking time to look out for the taxi and noticed I had received an email summary of our completed journey. I then rang them to query this and was told that the driver rang me but I didn't pick up - of course I checked my phone for a call or text message but I had received neither. I pointed out that it wasn't even the scheduled time for our taxi but they weren't bothered and said if I wanted a taxi I would have to book and pay again! We rang back later to complain but they hung up on us. NEVER use this company!!

Absolutely unacceptable experience – never using Veezu again

This morning I was supposed to start my vacation. I had a coach booked for 1:50 AM to the airport. I pre-booked a taxi through the Veezu app on Friday for 1:25 AM – the booking was confirmed.

At 1:20 AM, I received a message saying my booking had been dispatched and they were looking for a driver. I immediately called them, only to be told they had no taxis available. I explained my situation, stressing the urgency, but all they could say was “we’re sorry.” Their best offer was a taxi at 1:50 – which was completely useless, as that’s exactly when my bus was leaving.

If I missed that bus, I’d miss my flight and my holiday would be ruined. I had no chance of reaching the bus station on foot at that hour.

Thankfully, I contacted Courtesy Taxis, and they arrived within 2 minutes. The price was the same, but the reliability was priceless.

I will never use Veezu again. Their service, communication, and app are absolutely unreliable and unacceptable. A total disgrace.

Absolutely useless where has abc taxi gone I called a taxi and waited outside when my taxi didn’t arrive I called to ask where it was and was told I’m a liar and that my taxi arrived and left because I wasn’t there I was abused on the phone and cut off when I questioned my cab

Have used ABC taxis for years always reliable. Tonight booked 2 taxis on the app which I’ve done for years. Got notification that one had turned up giving car and driver details as usual so far so good. 20 or so minutes on second car hadn’t turned up so rang and told car had waited half an hour so booking cancelled, this was complete rubbish as we both went out when first notification came through. Was told another car would be there in 2 minutes none arrived but my friend in the first car messaged me to say check with Verzzu cab. I saw one and asked the driver if he was waiting for my address he said yes. All the way home he verbally attacked me v v aggressive said he’d waited ages made me feel v vulnerable to the point where I almost asked him to stop and let me out. When I rang and spoke to the controller he was less than helpful basically I should have known ABC had been taken over and had a new name and that he would make sure that driver wouldn’t pick me up again I asked what about other women on their own getting this driver he was running on about not being able to discriminate totally unacceptable not only was I left as a single woman late at night standing waiting feeling vulnerable about perhaps walking home on my own late at night but to be verbally abused by the driver all the way home just disgraceful and unacceptable use at your peril

Pre booked a taxi for pick up from coach station via the app. Was allocated a driver, then they disappeared. Called to check what was going on to be told drivers can cancel jobs and that they didn’t know how long it would take to find a driver, and that they had 80+ jobs pre booked that they wouldn’t be able to service?! Ended up using uber. Which is a shame when you want to use local companies.

Bit bad when you book a cab back from the hospital (pre-booked) and it never shows. To then notice they change your booking as the traffic is bad so add an additionalhour on a pre booked booking. Not my fault youre in Yarmouth and I booked a cab for norwich. Shambles.

Booked for a taxi to take us down to riverside as we were going to Lloyds for drinks before football.Driver was on time very friendly and chatty and took us all the way round to near the front of the pub.Always book ABC as they are very reliable.

from a customer of ABC taxis for over 25years with a booking service by phone equally professional and quick and efficient to use. finally using the lasted technology (whatsapp with updates free of charge giveing updates of taxi on arrival with missed call on arrival)

Taxi booked for 6:30pm. Rang to chase up at 6:45pm to check on progress, and was told it would be another 6-8 minutes, it finally turned up at 7:05pm!
Driver apologised for being late and told us he’d been sent on an additional job before coming to pick us up.

ABC operator who took booking told me the trip fare £12 whereas the taxi driver charged me £13. When I contacted the ABC, this time another operator answered my phone and asked me to drop email to ABC. Quite irritating. 😠

I booked a taxi using the app as I needed to go to A&E with high blood pressure. I paid upfront by card. They didn't bother to contact me to tell me that they had cancelled my booking so I wasn't aware of it until I checked to see why the taxi hadn't arrived. Not great when your blood pressure is going through the roof. iPhone to find out what was happening and was just told that they didn't have a cab available - though the app had showed four in my vicinity. I booked with Courtesy who not only arrived very quickly but the driver was lovely and kind - and it was £1.50 cheaper.
