Thieves

They dont pay the hosts, they dont answer the mails. Be careful with the reserves. I will not receive no more people from 9flats.

9 Flats does not pay hosts and is not reachable

Ich suche weitere Betroffene bezüglich einer Sammelklage - meine Kontaktdaten finden Sie unter rentaroom-kassel (in google zu finden).
We have not been paid yet by 9 flats for renting our apartments through their platform in Sep and Oct 2016 and nobody is answering the hotline.
I am just wondering that there is almost nothing to find about the problems with 9flats in the newspapers.
I also read that Wimdu is merging with 9flats with 9flats managing director Roman Bach being the managing director of Wimdu. The headquarter shall be in Singapore. According to the German's companies register 9flats already changed ist name to mission39 Service GmbH.
I am also wondering about Wimdu's merger with such an apperently unserious company.
The fact that 9flats does not pay its host threatens this kind of business - for hosts and other platforms.
I suggest that we initiate a class-action lawsuit (Sammelklage). you can find my details under rentaroom-kassel.

9 Flats can not pay to its hosts!!!

We received a guest 1 month ago through their web sites.
We've been waiting for almost 3 weeks for them to make the payment.
We've written at least 8 emails.
They stopped to answer. Just an automatic reply.
No one answers to our phone calls.
Such a negative experience with 9 Flats.

UPDATE:
On 12.01.2017, approx. after 2,5 months, 9 Flats paid our share.
I suggest to the apartment providers to be patient; because at the end they pay.
And i wish that 9 Flats has solved their technical problems for good.

No response from 9flats for payment, terrible host experience!

As a dedicated host on the 9fats platform in Chicago US.

I had a wonderful time hosting a family from Germany for a week in my home.

I have not received payment for host services. Several inquiries to 9flats support. No resolution yet?

Less than acceptable customer service and terrible experience here.

I will be canceling my listing, and highly recommend to anyone to stay away from 9flats!

They are still taking bookings from innocent people who have no idea that they are a big scam! taking more and more money of these poor hosts and probably just laughing about it at the end of the day!

Simply disgusting...

At 9Flats no one answers the phone, no one answers the e-mails, they do not pay to hosts...but what they do very well is keeping the money from the guests...and now that money seems to be transferred from Germany to Singapore...simply disgusting.

I have reported the situation to the police. It is quite easy, you can do it on line and encourage to all affected to do it.

1 month and still not paid!

I created an account just to review their website. 9flats doesn't respect the agreement with the hosts. I sent 2 emails and still no reply. I call the customer service line and the line cut before I can talk with someone.

9flats is doomed. Beware!

Update: So 2 days after sending my wire transfer details, I received a confirmation of my payment from the bank. Get in touch with them and they will help you!

9flats.com does not care about hosts/guests! At least a courtesy requires to answer e-mails, honesty requires to pay the hosts in time (they say they are "always open", yet it looks like they are on vacation all the time, spending the money that are not theirs!).
They cannot be trusted! They keep my money and I haven't received a single word from them after my numerous mails, will keep writing!

Update: Finally I've got my money, after a month or so, diminished by a huge banking fee since 9flats does not deal with Paypal any more, and did not have any courtesy to let the hosts know about that in a timely manner. They notified me "it is not possible", without giving any reason, of course. The entire process of sending money to my bank took more than two weeks... You should also finally get your money, you just need to be very patient with them, and be careful if you use their web page. After my experience I cannot trust them any more!

UNPAID!!!

9Flats is obviously using their staff to put in 5 star reviews saying that they have been paid already when in reality the hosts haven't been paid yet. Why would any legit host give them a 5 star review when they've been waiting for weeks for the money???

Still waiting for my payment...

As a host I didn't recieved my payment for a booking that I had in august. After sever "automatic" answers with dodgy "issues with the payment system" excuses, I am still waiting. Run away while you can.. They don't even answer the phone.

They Deserve a Terrible Score Here

Hosts and Guests who are victims of this scam need to work together and spread the word and make sure no one else becomes a victim! They need to go down to 1 Star here on TrustPilot because no one trusts them anymore and that's what this page is all about.

Can't be trusted anymore

Like others, many delays and excuses regarding late payments. Today they actually asked me to stop emailing about the funds they owe me. They don't take phone calls. I heard they bought Wimdu. Perhaps with hosts cash! No communication, we have to chase them.

Update: I started to contact upcoming guests. 9Flats response was to cancel all reservations and we can't log in. Those poor guests have been told that we cancelled. Shocking behaviour. I hope it hasn't destroyed their holiday to London.

Update: So we contacted future guests to explain the situation. 9flats responds to guests and states that they "don't know why the host is cancelling". Then they cancelled the reservation from their end and invoiced us cancellation fee's.
