I think 888 is strapped for cash and purposefully stalling withdrawals
All in all it took over 4 months to withdraw my winnings. Between trying to verify ID, nobody answering emails, chat support stalling, 888 claiming my bank details are wrong (when they were not), pure incompetence and even more frustrations.
The whole saga is detailed in previous posts on reddit if anyone wants the full story.
So yeah...thanks 888 for creating the most frustrating and lenghty recuperation of MY MONEY I have ever experienced.
To 888:
You are in the top 5 worst customer service I have ever received in my life. Not at the individual level but as a whole experience. You will have turned me away from offshore online poker, forever.
For me and many others, you have degraded the reputation and the trust of online poker.
I will never deposit money with you again, and I will do my best to turn away any potential new customer you might attract when I have the opportunity to do so.
To the employee(s) reading this, if you care about your jobs and nothing else, I suggest you escalate this post and my case to higher management for review and case study. It is my opinion that management has made a series of bad decisions, and when paired with nearly inexistant and clearly inefficient support, I think it is a recipe for disaster (As in 888 ceasing to exist).
To any newcomer:
Do not play on 888!
They have no customer support.
Getting money out is a nightmare.
The site is dead, overwhelmed with bots.
They removed sit and gos.
They try to push a style of no skill ultra turbo bingo trash.
The list goes on. You have been warned.

$7,902 blocked for years – 888poker refuses to pay me
ve been trying to withdraw $7,902 from my 888poker account since 2021. After years of sending documents, emails, and offering multiple valid payout options (Neteller, Wise, Revolut – all in my name), they still refuse to release my funds.
Now they demand a UK bank account even though I never deposited from one. I’ve sent a valid UK bank statement from Wise, and still no response.
They closed my UK account due to “residency rules” but continue to hold my money in it, making it impossible to access. My current complaint reference is 623521, and I’ve also reported them to eCOGRA, where I have another open case (Ref. 494756). No resolution after over 8 weeks.
This feels like a deliberate attempt to block withdrawals and exhaust customers. Their support is painfully slow and evasive. Avoid this operator at all costs.

Terrible customer service, so rude, they end the coonversation without notice, i have been trying to claim probably thousands worth of rewards that seem to disappear. all i get we will get back to you no one does, last time it happened i asked for a ticket number and they said they dont have ticket numbers then how are they handling indidents, makes you wonder

Scam
I’ve been playing on 888poker for a while, and recently the experience has become extremely suspicious. Over the course of just three sessions, I lost more than 50 coinflips (classic 50/50 spots like AK vs TT or AQ vs 66), and only won about 4.
Add to that an absurd number of coolers and bad beats in ICM-heavy spots, and it’s very hard to believe it’s just variance.
I was allowed to register and play from Bulgaria, which makes this even more disappointing considering how questionable the gameplay has been.
The RNG feels off, and I’ve completely lost trust in the fairness of the platform. I understand downswings happen, but this kind of run defies statistical

The site is clearly rigged. I've played much less here than Pokerstars & even GG, but on 888 the RNG is weighted in favour of "unknown agents", very clearly.
Three shoves behind will not dissuade these "unknown agents" from calling their entire stacks with K6 or Q4.... and surprise surprise they always win. Happened three times today.
Good if you want some fun clicking around, but not if you want to play poker. Stick to Pokerstars or live...
NB part of them replying to every single 1* review whilst doing nothing about the actual product failures is part of their PR campaign... Compare to reviews of other platforms - steer clear!!!

Someone created a fake account using my details.
They promised to investigate, never heard back from them. Now this fraudster done similar on a different app and I started an identity theft report with the police.
Asked their support to contribute evidence. What do you know, they closed my real account and now I can't even use their "chat".

There is no help page, the link brings a blank page every time!
No response from numerous emails!
I finally got a response from someone on Reddit, who without confirming who they are, want me to disclose personal information/ security answers over a social media platform!
I don’t want the account anymore for security risks but they cannot send the money back to the account it was deposited from.
That is absolutely disgusting!
12 days my account has been closed and no funds returned. No contact made. And no way of me contacting 888 because my account is closed.
I have screen shots of your representative asking for private information on social media platforms and still no money returned.

I created an account on 17.4.2025
I created an account and after depositing 50 usd / 46,13 euros my account got suspended. They have not refunded any money back.
And because my account is suspended I cannot contact their support because it required you to be logged in. I have tried emailing their support with no answers what so ever.
edit: I made a support ticket at their website giving my email and other details, have not received answers.
Edit: now it is first of may and since 2 weeks of trying to contact 888poker regarding this issue. They are not answering or taking any responsibility on this matter. Feeling like a victim of a fraud / criminal activity. 888poker is not trustworthy and scammed me.

100% rigged
100% rigged, non random, scripted poker game. If you are a low or no depositor, they'll treat you like shit. The idea you can build a meaningful bankroll by only playing the freerolls is an utter myth, with 888poker they rig it in favour of their house donks and the pros who promote their rigged site.
Edit: 888s response is a complete pack of lies, truly shit customer service, and new fish players being given hideously favourable hands and outs against the low/no depositors. Exactly the same experience for ALL OTHER POKER SITES.
Oh and one other thing 888: CEASE AND DESIST TURNING OFF MY SCREEN RECORDING APP. I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO USE SCREEN RECORDINGS TO PROVE YOUR GAME IS RIGGED IN COURT.

888 FAILED AGAIN 🤬😡
Once again today 888 has failed me😵💫 I play a free roll and get to the point where I can pay for extra chips, which I do. I then get to the point where I am told "Your in the money" Then a pop up tells me the number of the tournament I have qualified for.
Once AGAIN it gives no time when this will occur. Once AGAIN I cannot find the tournament on the list.
So my extra investment to get me into the next round failed because 888 didn't have the sense, intelligence or helpfulness towards the customer to let them know what their next move was !!!!!!! 😡 888 appears to have no interest in customer service!!!! Usual crap.

100% Rigged. Bots, not even real players. I went from pokerstars to this thinking it was a better options but I realized they are just as worse. 2k reviews and just about 90% of them is 1 star. Stay away from this website dont waste your money on websites where you can't chat with other players. This website is rigged 100%. Why do you think they got so many bad reviews? People are not stupid. Those websites used to be good 10 years ago before they were ran by a.i and bots. Will never play again.
