Top Tier Delivery
Couch is great, but the white glove delivery and care from Aaron and Alex absolutely was the best part of getting this couch. They were incredibly polite in everything they did. They explained how to use the couch correctly, they steamed it after assembly, they vacuumed the area, and they even brought their own booties to keep our floors clean. We’ve never been so impressed with a delivery.

My experience with the 7th Ave Northern California division was phenomenal. Starting with Joshua Tompkins on the sales floor in Hayes Valley, San Francisco, to the delivery and installation performed by Diego and Adrian, the customer service was exceptional. Diego and Adrian hauled boxes containing the various parts of the couch up two stories, unboxed everything, and built the entire couch in our living room. They even steamed the fabric afterward! Everything from the quality of the product to the attention to detail at delivery was top-tier. I can’t wait to enjoy my new couch!

The Best Couch, The Best Service
We had an excellent experience with 7th Avenue, especially thanks to Aaron and Alex, who assembled our 8-seat modular double lounger extra-deep sectional in alabaster white. From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and clearly very experienced.
Beyond assembling the sectional, Aaron and Alex took the time to walk us through how to properly maintain the couch and how to reconfigure and move the modular components in the future, which we really appreciated. It made us feel confident that we’ll be able to adjust the layout over time without worry. They were also meticulous about presentation - steaming the couch to remove any creases from shipping and fluffing the cushions so everything was comfortable and ready to use immediately.
They were careful and respectful of our home throughout the process, and when they finished, they removed all of the packaging and left absolutely no mess behind. Considering the size of the sectional, that level of care and thoroughness made a huge difference.
The end result looks incredible and feels just as good - comfortable, solid, and thoughtfully designed. Aaron and Alex went above and beyond, and their attention to detail truly elevated the entire experience. We’re extremely happy with both the couch and the service.

We love the sofa and customer service was excellent
We love the sofa and it was quite the ordeal getting it shipped to Washington during the holidays and with a big rainstorm. Frances helped us coordinate with FedEx every step of the way and would check in with updates almost daily until it was in the home assembled. It’s perfect size for our living room.

High-quality couch, exceptional customer service when performance didn’t match expectations
We purchased a 6-piece sectional from 7th Avenue, and while our experience included a few important learning moments, the way the company handled them absolutely earns five stars.
For context, we purchased the 6-piece modular sectional in the Performance Textured Weave in Natural White, full size (approximately 170" wide) with the extra-deep cushion configuration. The couch itself is incredible — extremely comfortable, beautiful, fits a family easily, and is wide enough to comfortably sleep someone. The extra-deep cushions make the seating area wider than a twin bed.
The issue we encountered was not misuse or spills, but performance relative to how the fabric is advertised. We followed all care instructions exactly — cold water, gentle cycle, appropriate detergent, air drying, and no bleach or fabric softener. Nothing dark or heavily pigmented was ever spilled on the couch. Despite this, the Natural White fabric showed discoloration after routine washing and light cleaning, including residue from soap used during steam cleaning. In other words, normal maintenance caused the fabric to look worse, not better.
It’s also important to note that washing this couch is a significant undertaking. Fully disassembling the sectional, removing all covers, treating and washing them, air/hang drying, and then reassembling everything took the two of us roughly 8 hours. Even when done correctly, the “washable” feature is far more labor-intensive than it may appear — and in our case, the results did not align with expectations for a washable performance fabric.
I also wouldn’t recommend paying for the professional assembly service. Our sectional was assembled incorrectly, and when we later disassembled it ourselves, we found missing hardware and misassembled components. We ultimately reassembled it on our own, and 7th Avenue promptly shipped the missing parts once the issue was identified.
This is where 7th Avenue truly stands out. When we raised concerns that the product did not perform as advertised despite proper care, their concierge support team took it seriously. They reviewed photos and video, confirmed that we had followed all care guidance correctly, and replaced all of our covers at no cost. They also resolved the hardware issues quickly and professionally.
My advice:
- Don’t choose Natural White if washability is a priority (or if you have kids or dogs)
- Skip the assembly service and assemble it yourself
- DO buy the couch — it’s a high-quality product from a company that genuinely stands behind what they sell and makes things right when expectations aren’t met
The replacement covers are beautiful, and despite the initial frustration, we’re thrilled with the final result and confident in our investment. While I believe the washability of the Natural White fabric is not as advertised, the company’s integrity and customer care absolutely are.

We got the white glove delivery and installation service — Eddy & Rob were super nice and helpful in setting up our 7th Avenue Couch. Their service was top notch. They wore shoe covers into our house, washed their hands before putting on the covers of our couch, answered all our questions and showed us how to connect the pieces, how to remove the covers when we want to wash them and steamed the whole couch and offered to vacuum our carpet in the area where they were working in after setup was done.
