Exemplary customer service

On ride from Kingston to Henley developed broken lock ring on cassette. Emergency, unbooked stop at the shop-recommended by the Cinammon cafe team. diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the stop-even supplying new lock ring all for free. Incredible customer service - I observed them talking a customer through his bike service- a great shop that saved my day.

Excellent online store

I have bought several items online from 7hundred, and their service has been excellent (in-stock items shipped within 24 hours and helpful replies to email queries). In addition, it always speaks volumes when you have to return an item: 7hundred refunded me the day they received it back. Also, 7hundred’s online store has proven the easiest way to buy Q36.5 clothing in the UK.

Professional and pleasant people

Professional and pleasant people.
I purchased a new bike from them they spent a lot of time and were very knowledgeable on fit and sizing, but I also wanted to swop over the groupset from the old bike so it matched my other bikes. This pretty much involved building two bikes. The works were carried out to a high standard and the cost was very fare.
They are also easy people to deal with on all levels, they are certainly a company I would use again.

Very poor customer service

Poor customer services. Rather than attempt to sort the issue, a paltry partial refund issued which in fact was more insulting.
Avoid, you can get the same products elsewhere with better customer service.

First time I have ordered online from 7hundred and it was a great experience. Detailed tracking from the sale to dispatch and delivery. The emails had a good welcoming feel and that they genuinely valued your custom. Great service team!

Customer Service

I rarely leave a review but my recent experience with 700 was great. My Tacx bike developed a fault and required replacing but Garmin proved to be unhelpful at best. Up stepped 700 where I had purchased it from and they successfully dealt with Garmin to resolve the issue and provide a replacement. Great customer service, took the stress out of it for me, and I would buy from them again.

Just had my lovely old Giant TCR3 advanced serviced again with 700. As always, fantastic service, excellent price, total confidence with the very competent staff. I love my bike & use it ALL the year so keeping it maintained at 700 is essential for me, they're fab!

Pinarello bike purchase online..5 stars!

I bought a Pinarello bike online from these guys to be shipped, and they made every effort to build it as per a previous bike fit I had emailed across to them. I am chuffed to bits, it's an absolute beauty, fits me like a dream, and I would have no hesitation in buying from these guys again!

Pinarello Prince FX with Shimano 105

This was a special build that was on the website. This is a beautiful bike, which was perfectly built. We bought it for my wife who loves it. "Not only is it fast and responsive, it is comfortable for longer rides" I highly recommend and reiterate how well this was built.

Buying a bike from the Middle East

Hey guys,
Thanks for all your help with the bike process. From start to finish you have been a pleasure to deal with. From me living 4hrs ahead in time difference, responding to emails and phone calls, I cannot fault you. She arrived today, safe and sound in Abu Dhabi. I’ve built her up and looks awesome. Went and got pedals fitted and the once over from a bike mechanic out here and she is ready to go. Can’t wait to ride. Many thanks Darren Taylor

No response to emails!

I bought a bike from them at over £3k, only to find 'slight' damage to the stem when inspecting the bike. I don't believe this to be 'damage in transit' as the bike was very well packaged with no damage to the box at all. So I do believe this was already damaged before posting. I have emailed twice asking what can be done and have received no response. Not a good customer experience at all! I have tried phoning them but could not get through. I am very disappointed with this as it has been weeks since I sent the first email.

Very poor customer service.

On 07/02/2021 I ordered a spare part for my Bont shoes.
Although it was shown as dispatched on 09/02/2021, it went missing in the post.
This is not the fault of 700, but their response has been exceptionally poor.

After not receiving a reply to 3 separate emails, I telephoned and was promised someone would chase up it up with the Royal Mail and if necessary file a claim. When I hadn’t heard anything after over a week, I phoned again to see what was happening, only to find that nothing had been done.

It is now nearly 6 weeks since I originally placed the order and I still haven’t had the item or a response from them.

I am glad this was only a cheap item that I have now been able to purchase elsewhere.

Dan, we can only apologise. It seems unfathomable how this issue slipped the net on, it seems, multiple occasions. Your review, whilst devastating, has highlighted a failing in an otherwise exemplary customer service record, that to date we have been proud of.

After investigating, it does appear that the first knowledge we had of your missing item, was your first phone call to us on 25 February. After extensive trawling, we cannot find any trace of any of the three emails you mention prior to your phone call, only your subsequent reply to our email to you on the day of your call, where we explain that we had raised the issue with Royal Mail, outlined the course of action and offered you the option of another item while we investigated - along with the refund at the conclusion of said. We contacted Royal Mail the same day we spoke with you, and we are (still) awaiting a response - they are incredibly busy at the moment. You should have been told it can take up to 30 days for Royal Mail to investigate and deem the item lost. Once again, our apologies if the person you spoke to did not furnish you with that information.

We have been fighting to meet an unprecedented number of orders and enquires throughout the pandemic. We are a small team of just 4, 2 people in store at a time, inevitably human errors occur and we clearly were not operating at our best on the day you called. For that we apologise.

Your refund has been processed and I have emailed you separately.

Great pleasant efficient service.

I ordered and paid for a stages power crank from this company. They were very quick in getting back to me explaining that there was a three week order delay and asked me if I would like to continue with the order.
As I needed the crank quickly, this time I decided not to go ahead with the order.
Before the end of the day the money was back in my account. Great pleasant, efficient service.
I would not hesitate to use this company again.

I've just had a very poor experience

I've just had a very poor experience. I live in the North West of England and have been searching for a Cannondale Super6 Evo Ultegra in black for a long time. I was very excited to see 7 Hundred had one in stock! When I rang to check I asked if they could hold the bike just for today and would drive down to collect. Because I wanted it on the bike to work scheme I had to purchase in person but I was told I couldn't reserve it! I offered to leave credit card details as a guarantee but no joy, I even rang again to speak to someone else to explain how certain I was to collect today. I explained I didn't want to drive 7 hours round trip to find the bike had gone but they weren't interested. Very surprised as there are lots of positive reviews for the store. I can't believe a clearly very keen customer would ring, twice! to find a solution but noone was interested.

There's a little more to it than this at first reads. We explained over the phone that for purchases made on Cycle to Work schemes, we require the individual in store with valid ID in order to release goods. Since this is the last bike in this size in the country and demand is far outstripping supply, we are not currently reserving bikes on cycleschemes as we would have a raft of bikes, many of which would not be collected, thus robbing others of a bike that they may be in a position to purchase immediately. While I see the frustration, this is the current policy in strange times and one that is applied across the board to all Cycleschemes. You have our apologies.

Booked in with 700 after a impact…

Booked in with 700 after a impact collision and needed some levers and tape fitted, was met at the shop like a Covid grim reaper, customer service and people skills non existent. Picked up the bike after works complete, same attitude, no handover of works carried out, basically theirs the cash swipe reader, theirs your bike now FO.

You have our apologies.
You were met at 8:45 by a member of staff that was still lycra clad and had just arrived at the shop having ridden in at pace. He may have been less than chirpy at that point. We are extremely busy at the moment and everyone is stretched with less time to spare so again, we can only apologise for our rather more officious than usual hand-overs, we are attempting to keep a lot of people on their bikes. Hopefully, should you choose to return (since your works were carried out swiftly and beyond the scope of the original booking - without additional charge - and you were able to get back on the road within a few hours despite the very busy workshop) we can wow you with better customer interaction in future.

Best local bike shop

I live in Windsor, these guys are just awesome. They not only fit parts for you, but they also price match on them. They are professional and very helpful. I've done bike fit too and I was given plenty helpful advice. Would recommend to this bike shop to anyone!

Great value and great customer service

I bought a Giro attack eye shield visor from them for the best price you can find on the net and wasn't expecting to be the expensive Carl Zeiss one... it's ! Last year bought the Giro helmet from them and apart of having to wait one month before having it,I was very pleased with their customer service in keeping me informed till it was dispatched.
I highly recommend this company
