Scammer.
We started inquiring August 2025. Sangay Khandu, the man behind 7Days Travel, send me packages. We planned for a March2026 visit, which according to this scammer, is the best time to visit. We did our research, everything seemed okay. FB account was active since 2020, posts with photos of actual tourists and comments from real accounts, legit website. He kept following up on our cooking in December and early January.

We finally paid (via credit card)January 15,2026 and sent him screenshots of the transaction and requested a confirmation that he received the payment. he said it would take 2-3 days. and he didnt respond anymore.

We found the FB of Bhutan's Ministry of Tourism and send messages via messenger, alerting them of what happened. We got a response a few hours later. Got a call later that day saying that the scammer got his license cancelled early December 2025.

Currently doing everything we can do to dispute the transaction. Hopefully, Govt of Bhutan will be very helpful.

Scammed!!!! This tour operator knowingly took money from several people including me and promised to deliver an amazing experience through Bhutan. Sadly he took everyone’s money and did not provide any trip

After I made a full payment forget about answering my call he did not even dare to chat in WhatsApp.
So called Bhutanese😏
I hope soon you will get what you deserve and please Royal Bhutan Police do your job soon otherwise he will scam lots of innocent people like me.

Please be aware of this agency , I had booked and paid in full in OCT 2025 for a trip planned for 01 February 2026 and agent has failed to deliver services including air tickets , have reached our via WhatsApp, emails and telephone calls . If any customer has proof that this agent has gone bust please share as this would be helpful in my claims with travel
Insurance . I bought travel insurance with FAYE and my claim was denied as they need proof of agent is defaulted and is out of business .not sure what additional proof is required when there are multiple bad reviews of this scam not easy to get documents from these countries unlike USA this is all public info . if any one has a proof about this land operator gone bust, please share document so I can submit to FAYE insurance as they keep bouncing back with the usual formatted response claim is denied .thank you

Mr. Sangay was unresponsive to me after full payment of our Bhutan tour package. He is still unresponsive to date. I was informed that his license as a tour operator was revoked by the Department Tourism - Bhutan. There are others like me who have been deceived by Mr. Sangay. We are in the process of requesting a full refund. We hope that refunds will be released as soon as possible.

I made a full advance payment of USD 15,420 to 7Days.Travel (Bhutan) in November 2025 for a Bhutan trip scheduled for January 1–8, 2026.

Despite repeated follow-ups, the agency failed to provide flight e-tickets, visa approvals, or any confirmed travel documents. After payment, communication became sporadic and then completely unresponsive.

Subsequently, I learned through Bhutan media and official sources that 7Days.Travel had been suspended/blacklisted, which confirmed my concerns about non-delivery of services. Given the lack of confirmations and the regulatory action against the operator, I had no choice but to cancel the trip.

To date, no refund has been processed.

I have escalated the matter to Bhutan Tourism authorities and am pursuing recovery of my payment. Based on my experience, I strongly advise travelers to exercise extreme caution and avoid making advance payments to this operator without independent verification.

We know practically nothing about Bhutan, which is why I wanted to visit it, and this trip gave me the opportunity. I had my expectations, but they were INCREDIBLY EXCEEDED. Its temples are spectacular, and it boasts some of the best and most beautiful mountain landscapes I've ever seen.Tiger's Nest left me speechless. It's difficult to describe being there; the energy is unparalleled. The people are very friendly and helpful. Our guide, Mr. SR, was unbeatable, the best you could possibly have if you decide to visit.

i had booked a tour with 7Days to Bhutan from 25 to 31 Dec 2025. They did not honor their words after receiving the 100% payment.

After a few delays, they sent me a One way ticket n e-visa on 20 Dec 2025 (5 days before travel date).
on 17 Nov, they said will sent me the document 30 days before travel date which did not happen. I believe nobody would travel without the return ticket. 7Days said would issue Return ticket when i arrived in Bhutan on 25 Dec 2025. I would not want to take chance and put my life in danger in Bhutan.
Therefore, I did not depart on 25 Dec 2025.

I was told that 7Days license was suspended on 3 Dec 2025. With this, I asked for a full refund and they replied is impossible.

I am experiencing emotional distress due to this incident after losing so much money.

I am hoping Bhutan's government can help me on the refund matter from 7Days.

I made a full advance payment of USD + 6000 to SANGAY KHANDU of 7Days.Travel for a Bhutan holiday scheduled in late December 2025.

Despite repeated follow-ups, NO confirmed hotel vouchers and NO ground arrangements were ever provided. With travel dates approaching and NO clarity, I independently verified with the listed hotels and was informed that NO CONFIRMED BOOKINGS IN MY NAME EXISTED

Due to this non-delivery of core services, I cancelled the trip and formally requested a refund. NO refund has been processed to date, and Sangay Khandu became non-communicative and largely unresponsive- ignoring all my phone calls.

The matter has since been escalated to the relevant Bhutan tourism authorities, who confirmed that 7Days.Travel is a BLACKLISTED TOUR OPERATOR and has been reported in the past by many tourists who have been duped by SANGAY KANDU . Bhutan press- 'KUENSEL' has covered this matter

I have since come across other travellers reporting similar non-delivery and refund issues with this operator- SANGAY KHANDU of 7days.travel. The contents of his website is misleading .

Based on my experience, I strongly advise travellers NOT TO engage with this operator - SANGAY KHANDU of 7days.travel as Bhutan tourism has blacklisted him and his license revoked

This man Sanghay is a FRAUD AND ONCE PAID WITH FULL AMOUNT WILL NOT RESPOND OR PROVIDE ANY SERVICES. His tour company is also BLACKLISTED BY BHUTAN TOURISM. Guys pls BE CAREFU AND DO NOT DEAL WITH HIS COMPANY . HE TOOK FULL AMOUNT AND IS NOT REFUNDING DESPITE CANCELLATION OF THE TRIP. DO CHECK FOR HIS LICENCE AS ITS BEEN CANCELLED BY BHUTAN TOURISM . He is quite capable of giving a false licence to fleece tourists. BE CAREFUL

Travel with them as an opportunity by of a lifetime.
All positive energies.
It was such a great moment and visit places that most people never get a chance to see.
I did make it so deep and you get to see more of this beautiful Country.

Believe me, Bhutan is such a beautiful place.

The whole journey from engaging 7Days to the trip itself is a great experience. The trip went well and the agency was responsive and supportive all through out. Bhutan is an amazing country with rich culture and amazing views.

Perfectly planned and well
Paced itinerary. Sangay our Guide was always punctual and very knowledgeable and also gave us enough time to explore all the places at our pace. Meals were also very nice. Our driver Tenzing also was very polite and a careful and safe driver.

The guide and driver supports the tour all the way and are proactive to suggest alternatives when necessary, like changing meal places when there were time constraints. They are knowledgeable of the tour details and would clarify when necessary too. They were also especially careful during the hikes for safety concerns. The only thing which was slightly disappointing was the food, which doesn't change much even as the hotels or lunch places were different.

Had a great 7D6N Bhutan tour with 7Days.Travel with Lotay as our guide and Drugay as our driver. They gave very good service and was accommodating to all our needs and questions. Would recommend for a tour around Bhutan with them!

From beginning to end, the agent told me not to worry because they will take care of the vacation itinerary. Landing and taking off the airport was very exciting as we were surrounded w hills & mountains. I extended the 7 days to 10 because I wanted to see one of the festivals. It turned out that there’s none at that time I was there. Overall it was one of memorable vacation highlighted by the hike to Tiger’s nest. It would have been hard for me to walk down the steep path but with the help of Sangay & Lotay, I made it down wo any injuries. The accommodations & meals were excellent. A few activities were modified according to my interests. My driver & guide worked well together. Friendly people, the stops at 2 farmhouses w homemade meals were notably one of the highlights. I plan to go back & would avail 7 days travel again.

Our guide Sonam Rinchen, driver Pilot C were both very courteous and respectful. They know their country very well and has been very knowledgable about their history. They prioritized our safety and accompanied us on all our trips and activities. The hotels we had are descent ones, clean and quiet, the food we had were great! We even had the opportunity to witness their Fastival in Thimpu. Over all, one of our most memorable vacation. Bhutan is beautiful!
