Warning zero star
Warning: Misleading Information and Zero Communication
I am beyond disappointed with the service—or lack thereof—provided by 724 Vacations. My wife and I booked a 5-day all-inclusive package to the Grand Oasis Cancun through an agent named Paul.
The Issue: False Eligibility Claims
Before paying a cent, we were very specific about our situation: we are Indian citizens living in Canada on work visas with Indian passports. We asked Paul directly if we were eligible for the deal. He explicitly confirmed we were, so we paid in full and took time off work.
The Reality
Two weeks later, the resort called us directly to confirm details. They informed us that we are NOT eligible for this package, as it is strictly reserved for US or Canadian citizens. 724 Vacations gave us completely false information just to close the sale.
The Lack of Support
When we contacted the agency to fix this:
The resort told us the agency holds our money and must handle the refund/correction.
724 Vacations claimed they needed to "check with the boss" and mentioned other clients had no issues (which does not help our specific legal eligibility).
It has now been over two weeks with zero response. They are now ghosting us. They do not answer our calls, and they have ignored multiple emails. They have our money, we have no vacation, and they have gone silent.
Final Verdict: Stay away from 724 Vacations. They are unprofessional, provide misleading information regarding international travel requirements, and their customer service is non-existent once they have your payment.
