Being part of The Bookkeepers’ Collective & Mastermind has taught me that I am not on this journey alone. The support, openness and encouragement within the groups have shown me the power of community and the value of surrounding yourself with people who truly understand the challenges and joys of this profession. I have learnt new skills, new systems and new ways of thinking, but more importantly, I have learnt that growth happens when you feel safe enough to ask questions, be vulnerable and share your experiences. The Collective & Mastermind has helped me trust myself more, push outside my comfort zone and recognise that the work I do genuinely matters. It has been the space that allowed me to grow not just as a bookkeeper, but as a business owner and a leader.

This year has taught me more about myself than any before it, and one of the biggest things I’m celebrating is discovering just how much I can achieve when I commit fully

Through that journey, I learned that the limits we think we have are rarely real. With the right mindset and purpose, we can push far beyond what we imagined—step by step, mile by mile. That lesson has carried into every part of my life and leadership. It’s reinforced that when faced with challenges in business or personally, I can keep moving forward, stay focused on the bigger picture, and inspire others to do the same.

The biggest thing I have learnt this year is that it is ok to not know everything, we can ask questions and help others without fear of being shown up. Its a great community that encourages us all to learn and improve continually.

I encourage everyone to try it, it will be one decision you won't regret.

I have been a member of The Bookkeepers Collective for almost 5 years now, and every year, I learn something new. The support of The Bookkeepers Collective has shown me that anything is possible, and to dream big. I have a lot of plans for 2026 - and have goals that I want to achieve. The Bookkeepers Collective has reminded me that bookkeepers like us are needed and should be valued, and you need to base this on every discussion you have with clients and prospects. The network that I have gained through The Bookkeepers Collective is amazing, and me and my business wouldn't be where it is today, had it not been for them.

Being part of The Bookkeepers’ Collective has taught me something I don’t think I could have fully learnt on my own: that pricing properly isn’t about being “expensive,” it’s about valuing the impact of what we do. The Collective has helped me see that confidence in pricing is confidence in myself, and that charging what I’m worth is what allows me to keep delivering the level of service my clients need.

The biggest lesson for me has been just how powerful it is to have a community of people who actually get it. The highs, the doubts, the tricky client situations, and the constant juggling behind the scenes — it’s all understood here.

I’m very quiet in these types of groups, but I learn a lot from everyone. And the support and encouragement from Jo and Zoe is truly invaluable. They’ve created a space where bookkeepers can grow, feel supported, and realise they’re not doing this alone.

Ashley Lead’s LinkedIn sessions have been another highlight of the year, helping me show up with more consistency and confidence. All the guest speakers keep us at the forefront of what is possible.

This community has supported my growth as a bookkeeper, a business owner and a person. I almost don’t recognise myself I’ve grown so much as a business owner with confidence. I’m incredibly grateful for the knowledge, the encouragement and the sense of belonging it brings. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Before I joined The Bookkeepers’ Collective, I often felt like I had to figure everything out on my own. Running a bookkeeping business can feel isolating at times. I joined the 6FB collective in November 2024, I have run my own bookkeeping practice since 2014 & it has been a game changer for me. if only this had been around when I started my business!

So much help & guidance that you are not taught when you are training to be an accountant or bookkeeper, they just don't teach you all the practice management side.

I love the way I can work through all the programs on Thinkific at my own pace, as I run a busy practice & I don't always have time for the live sessions.

The success program has been great I joined midway though one in the summer & I've started to do the current one from the start as being at live sessions really does make a lot of difference.

I joined the 6 Figure Bookkeeper Club Facebook group several years ago as I was starting to think about options outside of employment, and so I was thinking about starting my own bookkeeping practice. I was also listening to The Bookkeepers Podcast from the beginning too which has so many interesting episodes.

In December 2023 I took the leap and joined the paid subscription - The Bookkeepers Collective. This opened up so much more with regards to the pre-recorded videos on everything from starting a practice to growing, marketing, pricing, sales and more recently the AI training. On top of that there are the live sessions (which are recorded so you can watch back) covering a range of topics.

I've really benefitted from the community. There is a dedicated Facebook group for the Bookkeepers Collective and it's like having a whole room of bookkeepers with a range of experience on hand to help with anything and everything. There are also meet ups at some of the conferences during the year which helps face to face networking - as someone coming from industry into practice I didn't know anyone!

All of this helped me to start and begin to grow my practice over the last year, and I wouldn't have been able to do that or take the leap to leave full time employment without The 6 Figure Bookkeeper resources and community.

I’ve learnt how to truly value my work. Before joining, I didn’t understand how to price confidently or structure services in a way that reflects the real time, expertise and responsibility involved. The pricing modules, spreadsheets and conversations inside the community showed me how to step away from hourly rates and move towards transaction-based and value-based pricing. This completely changed how I run my practice.

I’ve also learnt what a “gold standard” client looks like for me. The Foundations course helped me refine my ideal client far beyond surface-level traits. Now I know exactly who I work best with, who benefits most from my approach and which enquiries I should say no to. That clarity is something I didn’t have before.

The Collective has also taught me the importance of boundaries. I actually said no to a potential high-fee client because the red flags outweighed the money something I would never have felt confident doing before. I’ve learnt that good boundaries aren’t harsh, they create sustainable, respectful working relationships.

Most importantly, I’ve learnt that confidence grows when you’re surrounded by the right people. Before joining, I was scared to take discovery calls and convinced I wasn’t good enough. Now I’m showing up consistently, quoting properly, onboarding clients I’m excited to work with and even subcontracting for an accountancy firm. I couldn’t have gained this level of clarity, confidence and structure without The Collective.

What I also really appreciate is that there are constantly new learning materials added that keep up with industry trends and HMRC updates. And it’s not just pre-recorded content the weekly live, interactive sessions mean you can ask questions, learn from real situations and get support that’s actually relevant to what’s happening now.

Being part of The Bookkeepers’ Collective has been genuinely life-changing. It has accelerated my growth more than any course or qualification ever could. I’ve learnt to believe in myself far more than I ever did — in my skills, my decisions, and the value I bring to clients — and that confidence has completely reshaped how I run my practice and support the people I work with. I’ve discovered strengths I didn’t even realise I had, and I’ve seen first-hand what becomes possible when you’re surrounded by people who genuinely want you to win. The Collective pushed me to think bigger, refine my systems, improve my pricing, and step into a more confident, capable version of myself.

I’ve learnt that I don’t have to figure everything out alone. Being part of The Bookkeepers’ Collective has opened my eyes to what it feels like to be supported, encouraged, and understood by people who get this journey. It’s taught me to value my expertise, set clearer boundaries, and trust my judgement more than I ever have. Most importantly, I’ve learnt that confidence can grow, and that with the right people around me, I’m capable of far more than I ever gave myself credit for.

The 6FB has been amazing for my practice. There is so much support and information, and the best part is that you can work through everything in your own time. I love that the sessions are recorded... I can watch a replay while I’m out on a walk, or just catching up when life is busy.

The calls with Gill are honestly incredible. You can turn up with a worry, a small idea, or something that feels like a big problem, and you walk away feeling calm and clear. She has this way of breaking things down into small, actionable steps that make everything feel achievable.

When I completed the Success Programme and submitted my business plan, I received personalised video feedback from Zoe. That alone was worth joining. It was thoughtful, helpful, and made me see my business in a completely different light.

Their Thinkific library is packed with collections you can dip into whenever you need them... growth, marketing, AI, and so much more. The AI collection especially is brilliant.

If you’re a Bookkeeper or Accountant wanting support, guidance, and a community that actually understands what you’re doing, I can’t recommend The 6FB enough. ☺️

Joining The 6 Figure Bookkeepers’ Collective has honestly been one of the best decisions I have made for both me and my business.
