Bicycle Rentals. Bram Peereboom.
Unprofessional, rude, appalling communication, rip off merchants, zero customer service, terrible manager (Bram Peereboom).
DO NOT USE THESE SHYSTERS.
I booked a 3 day bike rental on their website. The booking was accepted, I got an order number (8137) and I paid in full. The next day, I'm told that I need to book a bike for 7 days (minimum) and my booking had been cancelled.
I asked for a refund. But I heard nothing.
I waited 2 days and sent another email, asking for a refund.....again....my request was met with silence.
I sent a WhatsApp message.
No response.
I sent ANOTHER email.....again....silence.
I tried to phone them....but they screen their calls, and when I asked to speak to the manager, Bram Peereboom, I'm cut off.
I leave a phone message, but nobody gets back to me.
I email them again....it is now a week since I first asked for a refund, and despite several emails, WhatsApp and phone messages, they refuse to acknowledge me or respond.
This time I tell them I will be reviewing them on TripAdvisor/Google etc. and eventually I get a response from the manager Bram Peereboom.
Bram was rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. Apparently I hacked their system to make the 3 day booking!!! They have apparently tried to process a refund, but their finance system, like their booking system, their customer services department and their manager, Bram Peereboom isn't FIT FOR PURPOSE.
They send me an email exchange between Bram Peereboom and their Debit/Credit card company (Payfast) which apparently shows a problem, which I'M TOLD TO RESOLVE !!!!!!!!
Not only am I told that it's my job to resolve the issue with THEIR finance processes and Payfast, they tell me this is their last word on the matter, and they will no longer be communicating with me !!
Yep, thats right, I need to contact my bank and/or Payfast, and somehow get them to reverse the transaction!!!! Bram Peereboom won't do it, they've washed their hands of the matter !!!
So....whatever you do, stay away from....

They will take YOUR money, blame YOU when their booking system is faulty and blame YOU when their finance systems aren't fit for purpose and they will EXPECT YOU, to solve they problems THEY have created, and when you dare complain, they will stop communicating and they will keep YOUR money.
I only gave them 1 star because I couldn't give them zero. They are rude, unprofessional, badly managed, ripp off merchants with a booking system and a finance system that are extremely primitive.
Take your business elsewhere, these SHYSTERS are an embarrassment to South Africas tourist industry.
I'm still waiting for my refund.....they say it's my job to speak to their credit/debit card company, because their finance system aren't fit for purpose!!! Apparently that's not their fault, and it's my job to put things right!!
