Waited weeks and my order never…

Waited weeks and my order never shipped. Had to email several time to get any response. There was always some excuse that made no sense, something like we're out of "X" But no communication started by them as to a substitution or delete from order. After over a month the emails turned extremely rude them and myself they eventually refunded order after more than 4 communications requesting so.

Automatic Subscription w no way to Unsub? No thanks!

Having received some of their egg bites in a food order, I decided I really wanted more so I went directly to the source and, in May and June I placed orders. I still have plenty in my freezer from the June order.
Yesterday I get an email from them to the effect of "you must be getting low or be out of our product. Ready to order more?"
FOUR MINUTES LATER I get a notification that I placed a $75+ order! Mind you, I WASN'T EVEN ON MY COMPUTER!
Long story short.....even tho NO WHERE on the website does it mention a subscription, they signed me up for one! Not only is it not mentioned on the website, there is no mention of a subscription ANYWHERE on my account, much less a way to unsubscribe!
I did tell them that, if they didn't cancel the order THEY placed for me, by noon ET today, I would not only do a chargeback but I would also have them investigated by my AG's office.
That's when I found out that I had a subscription. It has been canceled as has the order. And, as much as I love their product, I will be going back to making my own.....and not having to place either a $75 order to get "free shipping" or paying $35 for shipping.....I just do NOT trust any company that 1) signs you up for a subscription without telling you, 2) has no way for you to UNsubscribe, even if you knowingly subscribed, 3) doesn't send you a notice that your subscription is coming up....and give you at least 48 hours (NOT 4 MINUTES) notice.

The egg bites are delicious but, it takes an order of at least $75 to get free shipping and shipping is $35! Pretty pricy when they just charge you and send it whether you want it or not!

7-14-24 Ok...so I ended up doing a chargeback because they did not get back to me in a timely manner. When they did they insisted I had a subscription (even tho the word appears no where on their site, not even on my account page and yes, no way to unsub).

So, they said they would cancel my order and my subscription. They did. No attempt to refund my money at first. Then they issued a refund.....for the order but NOT for the $35 shipping. I would have withdrawn the chargeback if they had.

REGRETS EVER ORDING ...

This Company showed a very lax attitude regarding my order.
Unacceptable responses for not shipping the order having paid for EXPRESS shipping.
The Pate' is delicious that is why I order it online only place you can purchase it.
It was ordered on Nov. 14 . 8oz Mousse Truffle. for Thanks Giving. It never was shipped and only showed UNFULFILLED on website account. I questioned it from Nov. 21 till finally receiving the box on Nov. 30th. Now this was EXPRESS paid for shipping. Opened box, and the item was packed with SIX ice packs and then the date on the pate' expires Dec. 12, 2023. So Not only did I not recieve in time for Thanks Giving.. It could not be used for Christmas!! I wrote numerous times with photo's of the date on pate' to the help desk 4 days.. asking for them to pls ship a new pate' as this would be of no good for Christmas to eat... no reply other then that the ticket was solved ??? Then I
was asked to send photo of date again?? Which I did. Then again told ticket was already solved.. never addressing the problem of date on pate'. Then I get another message
As follows: We won't be able to ship orders under $60 but here's what we can give you a gift card for $25 that you can use to buy online. After you place another order, we can assure you that the product with the latest shipping date will be delivered. Also, it is normal for Pates to have an expiration date like that since usually we only date it to 6 weeks after production but reiterate that it is safe to consume because it is vacuumed sealed and it will be no problem consuming that product in Christmas. The only strict recommendation is not to use it 10 days after it opens, but if the item has been closed and not bloated then they should be good to eat.
NOW THAT JUST TOOK THE CAKE.. THIS IS NOT GOOD SERVICE !!
What should have happeded is they should have not only replaced the item but also offered EXPRESS shipping with apologies for their error. This was a very bad experience .

Zero customer service when they mess up an order

Placed an online order for one mousse and a large charcuterie. The mousse arrived, but no charcuterie (by far the higher ticket item). I emailed them a number of times and received no response. I called the number on their website, which had an outgoing voicemail message only--no way to leave a message. Finally, I had to contact my credit card company to have them take care of the matter. I love Les Trots Petits Cochons products when I purchase them from my local market, but ordering from their website seems a bit risky.
