Best Customer Support
I bought a tripod in Europe over Amazon and it was missing one rubber part for comfortably tightening the legs.
Because I needed the tripod for my vacation i didn't sent it back.
After my holiday i contacted 3 Legged Thing and they sent me a replacement part, but because of Austrian Custom they wanted to charge me over 30€ for it.
So 3 Legged Thing sent again the part with proper declaration. I still had to pay custom, because of damn Brexit, but it was just 7€.
Thank you for the great support, always very quick answers and always super friendly and supportiv.
Thank you so much for a great product and the great service!!!!!
I which more shops, or manufacturers would offer just halve of that service.
Incredible product and customer service. Years later I needed a replacement part and they looked after me.

Special thanks for the amazing customer service. a time ago I purchased a product and lost one screw. I contacted the company and they immediately sent the missing screw. They didn't ask any questions, they didn't ask for treatment fees or anything. The screw arrived after a short time. Without a doubt you are a company with a good name and you have proven it.

This lot - the chickens - are a bloody legend in their own lifetimes. Faultless customer service, they're ON IT, helpful, quick, genuinely want their customers buying their products to be super-happy with everything. I can't praise them highly enough, even their packaging is fun, and when they had to send me a spare item (I'd lost something), they included a tea bag - the brew to help with inspiration. Immense, if only every company and public utility could get this kind of vibe going there would be no need for Ombudsmen ever again!

I had a 'Brian' tripod which lost a rubber foot. I contacted 3LT to see if they carried spares as I could not see it on their website.
I received a very quick response saying that they did not carry spares for my tripod but they would replace the whole unit, free of charge, for an equivalent model in their current catalogue.
After arranging for collection of my 'Brian', they send out a brand new 'Albert 2.0' tripod, free of charge (I did not even have to pay any postage either way).
To say that 3LT Customer Service was exemplary, is a MASSIVE understatement. It would have been very easy for them to just say that they did not carry spares for my model and just refer me to their catalogue, in the hopes that I would purchase a new model.
My sincere thanks go to Megan, Alison, Neil and all the 3LT Team for their service.
I will most certainly be mentioning 3LT and the service I received when our Photographic Society next meet.
Thank you, 3LT!

I've had a 3 Legged Thing tripod for 7 years and I love it. It's a great tripod for traveling as it's light weight and fits in my carry-on bag. It's great when I don't want to drag around my heavy tripod. The best thing, though, was the wonderful customer service I just received. On a recent trip, I lost the base plate that screws into the bottom of my camera. I contacted the company to see if they still had a replacement. Neil, the rep who responded found one and sent it to me free of charge! Wow! What a great company! I've already recommended their product to many people. Now I can recommend their marvelous customer service also!

I bought my first 3LT tripod a number of years ago and absolutely loved it until a small critical component broke. I contacted 3LT to see if they could replace the component. They replied and said that the component was redundant and they could not replace it, and to my amazement they offered to replace the whole tripod! In addition they replaced the ball head and even paid for postage.
This is outstanding service and very few businesses have the foresight to offer this level of service these days. I am delighted to be the recipient of a new tripod and to know that the manufacturer cared so much about their product and customers that they went the extra mile. I am now a raving fan and tell every photographer I meet about this amazing company and their products. When we need a new product 3LT will be our first point of call. Thank you Neil and the team at 3LT.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the outstanding customer service and exceptional quality of Three Legged Thing's tripods. As a passionate photographer based in Texas, I couldn't be happier with their prompt response and genuine care when I accidentally broke one of the knobs on my Pano Clamp.
I reached out to Three Legged Thing's customer support, explaining my predicament, and to my surprise, they didn't ask any questions or hassle me in the slightest. Without hesitation, they immediately agreed to send me a replacement part free of charge, despite the considerable distance from their UK headquarters to Texas. This level of customer service was unparalleled, and I felt valued as a customer throughout the entire process.
Not only did Three Legged Thing impress me with their outstanding service, but their tripod's build quality and design also exceeded my expectations. The tripod is sturdy, reliable, and easy to use, providing excellent stability for my photography needs. The thoughtful features, sleek design, and durable materials make it a standout product in the market.
I am incredibly impressed with Three Legged Thing's commitment to customer satisfaction and the seamless support they provided. It's evident that they take pride in their products and are willing to go above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Three Legged Thing tripods to any photography enthusiast or professional. Their products are top-notch, and their customer service is unparalleled. The fact that they replaced a broken part without any hesitation, and shipped it all the way to Texas, demonstrates their dedication to their customers. I can confidently give them 5 stars and will continue to support this fantastic brand for my future photography equipment needs. Well done, Three Legged Thing!

I've owned the Albert tripod for almost 2 years and unfortunately I had cause to contact the team after one of the leg hinges became loose.
I received a very polite reply from Neil and he said that they could either send out a replacement part that is very easy to change or collect, repair and return at no cost.
I think the mark of a quality company is the way they deal with issues after the sale is made, 3 legged thing is exceptional here.
5 stars from me

I was helped by Neil to resolve a minor technical issue with my Trent monopod; and he handled my issue with the utmost of skill and at lightning speed. Problem sorted in no time. I have several 3-Legged Thing products and they are all brilliant. Not many companies offer a comprehensive 5 year warranty! I will continue to buy from these guys. Highly recommended! I've had a 3LT tripod for a few years now and it's always served me well. Recently the rubber grip on the thumb turn on the arcs swiss clamp split and fell off! I emailed 3LT and dealt with Neil. Super helpful, super friendly and actually sent me out a whole new clamp assembly within a few days. Excellent service.

Firstly, they make high quality tripods and perhaps even better, their support is the best I've ever been in contact with! Fast, friendly and very helpful. An example to other companies.

A British Company to be proud of! 🙏🏻
I bought my first 3 legged Thing Tripod (Albert 2.0) in 2022, and was immediately impressed by its build quality, functionality and design. Me and Albert are a busy pro team shooting mainly interiors, he loves being on the back of my Motorbike (Yes, unlike other Tripods, he folds up very neatly and isn't too big to carry!)
Unfortunately, Albert fell off my Motorbike at around 80mph... amazingly, after recovering him, he was almost unscathed apart from a bent top canopy section (the hub where the 3 leg meets) ... After a quick hunt on the 3 legged website I found their customer service email... pinged an email and was replied to very swiftly by a top lad named 'Neil', who immediately saw the issue, enquired internally if it could be replaced.... came straight back to me with the great news that they were going to send me the new part with fitting instructions out in the post immediately, at NO CHARGE....! I didn't expect it for free and would have been over the moon to get Albert back in order at a cost, but this sort of service for me cements why I will now stick with these guys for all my Professional Photographic needs I can going forward! Lifesavers, and all done with a great attitude. First class service... If you are thinking of buying any of their products from these guys.... DO IT!!! Great Products and Great Customer Care...! What's not to love! 😃

I always think it is best to judge a company on how they deal with any issues. I had lost a couple of the screws out the back of the Ellie plate, so I emailed 3 legged thing to see if I could buy some spares. I spoke with Neil who was really helpful and sent me out some spare screws on Friday afternoon and I received them Saturday morning - faultless service can’t sing there praise high enough

I had either immediately lost or never got the strap that comes with the Toxic Wraith camera bag. Neil immediately tried to ship me a new one to meet me at my hotel as I was traveling in London...when Royal Mail messed that up Neil then posted one to me in the US. Amazing service. As far as the bag itself goes, it is the most useful camera bag I have owned, and I've got about a dozen accumulated over the years. I easily traveled with my new Canon R7 with kit lens in the side pouch, Canon 5D Mark IV with the 16-35mm attached, a 15" laptop, 6 batteries, chargers for both, and miscellaneous cords and there was a place for everything and everything was in its place. The travel strap allowed it to fit securely over the handle of my carry-on, as it was designed to do. Great little bag. I also own a 3 Legged Thing tripod, which is how I found out about the Toxic Wraith bag.
Fabulous tripods, fabulous customer support.
I’ve got a Carbon Albert, which has seen light service over a couple of years of occasional use, and has been a delight every time I’ve taken it out.
Recently the hinges on the legs were getting very slack, so I mailed 3LT support for advice, and they asked me to send it in for checking.
(Unscientific opinion – while it was away (under a week), I borrowed a friend’s tripod for daily project I’m doing, and it was disappointing in comparison)
3LT tech Neil’s assessment was that something wasn’t responding to his regular servicing, couldn’t be fixed, and would I accept a new one instead.
New tripod duly arrived, with the signature 3LT bag of Haribo, and my old ballhead on top, which I love, and it’s performed faultlessly ever since.
Oh, and it came with the new zip-sided carry-case too, which is a significant improvement on its soft predecessor
I can now take tripod in and out of the case without taking it off my shoulder; and the outside pocket will hold the strap when it’s not needed.
Epilogue – on arrival, every screw thread on the new tripod was set to loose – legs, column, everything – including the D-ring at the bottom of the centre column, which I lost in the dark pretty much right away.
So I asked Neil if he still had my old tripod in the workshop, and could he mail me my old D-ring – and me sent me a new one!
And another wee bag of Haribo.

First of all, the product is wonderful. I've been around the world (almost literally) with their tripod (Albert) and in conditions from summer and winter near the arctic circle to summer in Africa. It packs down for travel and performs really well even with my SLR and long lenses.
Recently, I fell after slipping on ice at Crater Lake NP. The tripod was in the back of my pack and took the majority of the impact on pavement in the parking lot. The metal screw of the top clamp portion sheared off. I wrote support and though the clamp I had was out of production, they offered to replace it with one of the newer ones - at no charge (free). I had offered to pay and they wouldn't have it.
The replacement arrived, was easy to replace, and works wonderfully. Neil was wonderful to work with and the company is amazing. So seldom do I encounter support this good from today's companies.
THANK YOU to my 3 Legged Friends!
