2degrees Broadband — Terrible Service, No Resolution, Then Hit With a Cancellation Fee
I was a long-time 2degrees customer and would strongly warn others before signing up for their broadband.
My internet was cut off without warning and I spent nearly a week calling them every single day trying to get it resolved. Every time I got through, I had to explain the situation from scratch — no one checked the notes from the previous call. The wait times were consistently long and the support was completely ineffective.
On 6 April, a rep picked up and hung up on me without saying a word. No help, no explanation, nothing. After all of that, they still couldn't identify what was causing the issue.
I switched to Skinny Broadband on 7 April. The modem arrived the next day and I was up and running almost immediately. Their support has been responsive and helpful from day one — a completely different experience.
To make things worse, when I went to cancel 2degrees, they tried to charge an early cancellation fee — after weeks of no service and zero resolution on their end.
Avoid 2degrees if you can — poor support, no accountability, and they'll still try to charge you on the way out.
