This feels like a scam. I registered my daughter's incident at the beginning of January and have received zero follow-up. The customer service is non-existent—they even hang up when you try to reach them by phone. Very disappointing experience.

Since my previous review in April and 24h Assistance's quick response, limited progress has been made.
My claim has been acknowledged and repeated subsequent bank problems cited as reasons for not being able to make the insurance payment due to me.
Quite stressful to have to continue making repeated repeated requests to settle the matter.

We had an accident on skiing and the only driver of our car is the person who was hurt. The insurance covered all the expenses, not only medical one, but they organized the driver to took back rentacar and us to the airport. The people from the insurance company was very kind and they helped us. It was great relief for us. Thank you million times to whole Team.

This insurance seems to be a complete fraud. When I try to report a ski accident through the website I get an error and the telephone number doesn't work! And there is no operator which can help, either on the chat or whatsapp!

We were hoping to have this paid directly to the hospital in Brunico on his acct - we were told that was not possible

Do NOT buy the snowcare assistance that they sell when buying lift passes. I made a claim which was very quickly accepted but I never received the reimbursement despite making multiple enquiries and providing my bank account details several times.
11 May 2024: I am updating since I finally got reimbursed the full amount. Pity it tooks months for the reimbursement to come through.
Never buy Snowcare from this company, total fraud. I will soon file a complaint at the ECC and sue them for the way they treated me.
I suffered a ski injury at the start of march in Italy, I called their contact line and they told me I can go to the hospital and contact them after for a refund. I did that, I paid 922euro the next day at a clinic in the city and I contacted them again to find out how to get my money back for medical expenses. Only after I told them how much I paid, I was told I can only receive 500euro back (stupid me, I thought there was no limit on an insurance designed for ski only). Side mention, all the details of the insurance was sent to me in italian only, so if you don't know italian too bad..
Imagine having a serious accident on a ski slope and having to do surgery and after that to find out you will only get 500euro back. As it turns out, you have to be lucky to get even those 500euro, because you must have a SLOPE RESCUE CARD.
Fast forward to today, 1 month after I sent them everything they asked for a refund, I got an email telling me that I will not get anything for my medical bills because I don't have a SLOPE RESCUE CARD...so because I didn't call the rescue team, I now will get nothing. Are you serious???? Because I had friends with me that helped me get down without the need of a rescue team I will now get nothing??? What kind of a stupid clause is this?
Let's see what the European Customer Center will say about this!
Meanwhile, I highly reccomend you to stay away from this company and go for a serious insurance company for winter sports, Snowcare is a total joke!!!

So you think I would travel to Italy, stay there for 10 days, buy a skipass for the entire period upfront just so I can try and trick your company for 922euro for medical expenses? In other words, spend over 5000euro for a ski trip just so I can get your company to pay 922euro..You must be joking..
Also, when buying the insurance from superskidolomites website there is no mention of the fact that I need a rescue slope card.

I have submitted a claim on the 22nd of February and have not heard anything since.
When I try to call, I am forwarded to the claims department, where after a holding period, a person picks up, says "Just one moment", puts me on hold again and then the call drops. This has happened in every single call I have made over a one week period. I have not been able to speak to anyone about my claim.
It is unacceptable.

I had an accident skiing and lodged a claim with this company. I lodged requested document on 22nd February 2024. I asked for an update on the 29th February 2024 and the 7th March 2024 and they have not responded to my e-mails. I've been left in the dark by this company.
Updatde: The claim number is n. 2024/12454, I have now received some money but haven’t been told what it’s for.

I have submitted 2 claims for ski lessons we were not able to take in Champoluc, well in advance of the date of the lessons, at the end of December 2023. I have repeatedly answered questions that came, one at a time, even asking info that I had already written in the form. I have emailed repeatedly. No reimbursement except for a very small amount (~10% of what is due) was received until mid-February; the confirmation of full reimbursement was received only after involving the ski school.
