Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed. I paid for the car for 5 months but only managed to use it for 13 days before it broke down. It then spent almost 5 months in the garage. Now they refuse my rejection, saying “you can’t change your mind like that.” Completely unacceptable. I have lost all trust in this car and this company.

Do not recommend this garage!

Do not recommend this garage!!
The owner gives you the sweet talk, makes you feel like you are being looked after but service is poor. Never received the full service that I paid for and my phone calls are never answered. Have been waiting for nearly 2 months to receive a diagnostic report and still nothing!!

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Especially a Peugeot 5008 ending in RFL without asking for proof of no ad blue modification!!!

I bought a car from them after feeling pressured “that someone was coming that afternoon” and any deposit was non refundable. Purchased vehicle, wasn’t advised that there was a SAFETY RECALL on the vehicle - which is a whole thing in itself. Had the recall carried out myself with Peugeot where they did a computer reset and found the AdBlue had been deleted (not clear when this occurred). Within days my car went into limp mode and had a mileage countdown for the car to not start. Went straight back to the company with everything and had to drive round multiple garages to get the information they needed. “Nope we aren’t doing anything.”

Ended up after 1 month of me chasing and hounding them, and in the end bringing the consumer act up etc that they agreed to have the vehicle back - which they bought back at a reduced price. No care or concern for the fact that they let me drive young children in a car with a safety recall - bearing in mind they knew I was getting a car following a car accident!! Apparently the entire after sales team had left or gone off sick - yet the person emailing me was signing off as the after sales manager and yet couldn’t do anything for me!!

When I got to the dealership to hand the car back; the manager didn’t even have the decency to come out of his glass office to say sorry or even acknowledge me. Just sent one of his young team members over who clearly didn’t want to deal with me either.

Also if you do decide to buy from them and need to go down the refund route, make sure you have the money before they have the car keys. They tried to tell me it would take 14 business days for the money to come into my account - 5 minutes. It took 5 minutes when they actually pressed the button. So don’t take it. Also ensure you call with your caller id blocked otherwise they just don’t answer your calls

Please don’t be in the stressful situation I was in and be left with a useless pile of metal and plastic on your drive!!

STAY AWAY

From the minute I walked in, I felt very pushed into making a decision. I was not allowed to test drive a car until I had agreed a price. This wasted a good few hours. When I eventually drove the car, I said it wasn’t for me. I asked to drive another car, but it was like it was a hassle. I then asked for some time to think about it and I was constantly bombarded with texts, calls and emails. I eventually agreed to buy a car. Drove to pick it up and was given the sales speech yet again. I just wanted to get home.

On the way home, I broke down, even though the car had”sailed through its inspection.” I called 1 Stop Cars to be told someone would come and pick the car up and I was to call a taxi to get me home!!! I was a woman, on my own, over 40 minutes away from home!!! Luckily, my husband left work and picked me up. I was then left without a car for 5 days whilst they checked the car over. They couldn’t find anything wrong with it and delivered it to my home address. When I got back into the car, 200 miles had been put on the clock, 3/4 of a tank of petrol, I had paid for had been used and the passenger door was damaged. I called and emailed 1 Stop Cars, to be totally ignored. Eventually they got back to me and offered me £15 for the petrol, denying they had damaged it even though I had a video of the car on purchase. I disagreed with the £15 and told them I would have a full refund. I never heard from them again for another 5 days. Eventually, someone did call me back and explained the after sales team had left, or gone off long term sick!!! I explained everything again and they said they would refund me. I didn’t hear anything. I phoned and emailed again and was told the payment could take 3-5 days. I waited 7 days, still nothing. I rang again and eventually they paid me that day.
They lied to me throughout and the customer service has been absolutely appalling. I would not recommend and I will certainly not go back there again for another car. They stole my petrol and criminally damaged my car. Absolutely disgusting.

WARNING

WARNING: Avoid This Dealership! Had to Take Them to Court.
Save yourself the stress and legal battles—do not buy from 1 Stop Car Sales.
I bought an Audi TT that was mechanically defective from day one. When I highlighted an accurate mileage discrepancy on the paperwork, they ignored my emails and refused to amend their records. Their garage failed to fix the car's inherent fault, and when I exercised my legal right to reject the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, they unlawfully denied my rights face-to-face.
I was forced to take them to the Small Claims Court just to get them to acknowledge consumer law. It was only after being served with official court papers and being hit with £455 in court fees that they finally agreed to a full refund.
They do not respect statutory rights, they ignore customer communications, and they will fight you until a judge gets involved. Absolutely terrible customer service. You have been warned.

I cannot recommend 1 Stop Car Sales…

I cannot recommend 1 Stop Car Sales based on my experience.

From the beginning, I found communication to be extremely poor. Emails were ignored, and when I did receive responses, the only explanation repeatedly given was that certain charges were “on the website”, despite this information not being made clear during the purchase process.

Throughout the process, I felt I was repeatedly given information that was inconsistent or later contradicted by what I had previously been told. This left me with little confidence in the accuracy of the information I was receiving and made it very difficult to trust the dealership.

After purchasing my vehicle, a number of issues came to light, resulting in significant inconvenience and expense. Rather than dealing with the situation professionally, I felt I was constantly having to chase for updates and fight for a fair resolution.

The finance company ultimately refunded all of my finance payments with interest after the agreement was unwound. However, I have still had to pursue 1 Stop Car Sales separately to recover the £500 cash deposit and other losses. I have exhausted every opportunity to resolve this amicably before having to consider legal action.

In my opinion, the level of customer service has been unprofessional throughout. A reputable dealer should stand behind the vehicles they sell and deal with customers honestly, promptly and fairly when problems arise. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering buying from this dealership to carry out thorough checks, ensure every payment is receipted, keep all communication in writing, and understand exactly what they are agreeing to before handing over any money.
If I could rate 0 I would

Given false information

Given false information, cannot be trusted!

When I enquired about the car I was to purchase I was told that it had a full service history. I asked if I could see the log book but was told that I couldn't because they have gone digital and that I would need to contact Audi directly and that they would provide it for me. So I buy the car, two weeks later I go into my local Audi dealership to discover the vehicle had only 1 x service with them within it's 8yrs of ownership, hardly a full service history. I question it and was told the cars condition reflected it's price! After this I contact again but have been ignored so far. Do not trust anything they tell you without seeing evidence first, why would they not obtain this information first rather than leaving the customer to chase around for it to find they blatantly lied.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service – Highly Recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service – Highly Recommend!
A huge shout out to Anzelika, who was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. She went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and that my vehicle was delivered right on time—her dedication really stood out 👏.
From the initial enquiry through to delivery, the whole experience was seamless and stress-free. The customer service was outstanding, with all staff being professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout—without any pressure at all.
The vehicle itself was in superb condition, exactly as described, and prepared to a very high standard, including new tyres, brakes, 12 months MOT and a full service.
I couldn’t be happier with the overall experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and professional service!

WARNING YOU ALL!!!

WARNING YOU ALL!!!! Heres my story. i purchased a peugeot 5008 MJ68GDK on the 11th of april 2026 (which is now back on the site) after months off wanting one of these cars, i finally found the 1 i was after with everything i wanted on it.... i was so delighted..... however 2nd day of owning the vehicle, engine management light appeared with engine fault repair needed, emissions fault, so called dealership to explain that these warning lights had appeared to then get... they couldnt have! i had the car read on a autel code reader which is ones of the best code readers. To then find the codes had all been cleared 16starts ago, so worked out to be just before i purchased the vehicle. however backwards and forwards with the dealership with what repairs they suggested to which was remapping the car ( so removing the adblue system) which is illegal! at this point i was losing trust in the dealership also the car so i went on rejection as i was within my rights to do this, so put it in writing within 7 days, to then they collected the car and inspected the car and told me my rejection was not accepted as it was a matter of resetting the car to tell it was at the correct adblue level amazing how a reset can fix an engine fault. they added 320miles on this car while they had it also changed the wheel, and was left sitting with 2 flat tyres, it was like my car was a donor sitting on their forecourt. i had to prove this vehicle was unfit for purpose ect for them to accept rejection, so i collected the car to take to my local garage got 45miles away from dealership and the lights and messages appeared again! this should have been enough prove in the first place to accept the rejection instead of all the unnecessary stress. if anyone is thinking of purchasing this vehicle please make sure all repairs have been done, also the paint protection spray has been done. my biggest and honest suggestion is take your well earned money elsewhere. buying a car should be a joyful moment and they took that away from me and gave me stress. the only apology i got was off Adam when he paid me back my deposit after waiting weeks for it.

£10K Vehicle became undriveable after 4 months

Purchased a Citroën C4 from this dealer in December 2025 with a 12-month MOT and additional 2-year warranty.

Within less than 5 months the vehicle developed a significant oil leak and was inspected by two independent garages, both of whom advised it should be returned to the supplying dealer. The vehicle was subsequently repaired by the dealer, however shortly afterwards it suffered further issues including repeated loss of power and becoming undriveable, requiring recovery.

Throughout the process I attempted to resolve matters directly and amicably with the dealership. However, despite the repeated issues occurring within the first 6 months of ownership, I was repeatedly informed that no rejection or further action could be considered unless a fault code could be permanently retrieved and proven.

Communication unfortunately became increasingly difficult and at times confrontational, despite my efforts to keep matters professional and in writing.

The dealership’s final position was that I either:

* continue monitoring the vehicle,
* leave it with them indefinitely pending retrieval of a fault code,
* or accept a £6,000 buy-back figure against a vehicle purchased for approximately £10,000 plus warranty and part exchange.

I appreciate intermittent faults can sometimes be difficult to diagnose, however my experience overall has been extremely stressful and disappointing.

I am now having to take legal action and incur further costs to get my self back on the road!

I would strongly encourage anyone purchasing a vehicle to ensure they fully understand their rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 before proceeding with a sale from 1 stop cars.

CORRUPT COWBOYS!

CORRUPT COWBOYS!

Visiting the showroom late March 2026, I had a test drive and agreed to purchase a 2017 Nissan Micra (fixed price, I was told) on the proviso that it would be supplied with a spare wheel. I mentioned this at the time of the test drive and as I left the showroom.

I paid a deposit of £500. I did not receive any receipt or documentation.

After a couple of weeks where it was obvious that the sales guy, Mo, was only interested in finalising the sale (and had no intention sourcing a spare wheel), I had lost trust and decided not to go ahead with the purchase, asking for my deposit to be refunded. He got angry, saying that it was not usual to return this. (When I paid the deposit, there was absolutely no mention of the deposit being non-refundable. If it was, why would I have paid that level of deposit?) I was promised a call back the following morning.

Surprise, surprise, I received no call back (or since then). Subsequent E-mails have not been responded to.

This company has £500 of my money and I want it back.

If you have to deal with this company, proceed with the utmost caution. I would never trust them again.

Buyers Beware

Prospective buyers of 1 Stop Cars should carefully review negative feedback and proceed with extreme caution. My recent purchase of a Volvo XC060 (reg AD15 RJV) on 21/02/2026 illustrates a blatant disregard for basic consumer protection. I can see the vehicle is for sale on their website again listed as a ‘new arrival’ so I urge anyone wanting to buy the vehicle to check all the necessary work has been completed on it (I was quoted thousands to fix it).
Within a week, the vehicle displayed critical "No Oil Pressure" warnings and was diagnosed by an independent, VAT-registered mechanic with multiple significant oil leaks and an overdue cambelt (I was told this was replaced in 2022 and it clearly was not), contradicting 1 Stop Cars' pre-sale "114-point inspection" report by Michael Johnston. The car was demonstrably not of satisfactory quality and unsafe to drive the checks were either not carried out to a reasonable standard or were not conducted as represented.
My attempt to exercise my legal right to reject the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 was met with deliberate obstruction from 1 Stop Cars employees (Dianna Zorila and 'Zedd' – he never put his last name on emails and lacks the ability to write coherent sentences). Their actions included:
• Demanding to see the diagnostic report from the mechanic in order to move forward with the rejection (I happily provided this, but this should have never prevented the rejection from moving forwards because the Consumer Rights Act, within 30 days, means I was entitled to reject the car without this anyway).
• Unlawfully demanding a "main dealer diagnostic" or their own diagnostic which are not required for rejection within the initial 30 days.
• Insisting I return the vehicle myself, despite its unsafe condition making this impossible and contrary to statutory obligations.
• Attempting to impose an illegal mileage charge for the car's use.
• Refusing to reimburse my £102 diagnostic fee, despite having requested the report, denying my right to consequential losses.
The process was further marred by poor communication, missed collection attempts, and the car ultimately breaking down during its return to the dealership. General Manager Adam Hanif, while acknowledging his staff's failure to adhere to proper rejection procedures and promising training, displayed a condescending attitude, unfairly criticizing my entirely justified "snide and sarcastic comments."
This unacceptable experience required persistent and firm assertion of my legal rights, escalating to a formal notice of action, before 1 Stop Cars would comply. Their staff demonstrated a clear lack of qualification in customer service and legal obligations. I strongly advise against purchasing from 1 Stop Cars to avoid similar distress and financial inconvenience.
Most of the positive reviews are completed from customers immediately after purchase before they have left the dealership. All of the sales team ask customers to scan a QR code during the buying process meaning they get a good review straight away, regardless of the outcome later on. Do not be fooled.
