On Friday 18th February 2022 night I got a taxi home from JB Hi-Fi Chirnside Park and when we drove into the BP Chirnside Park the driver said hand over your iPad or I'll stab you with a knife. I was scared stiff as I feared for my safety since I didn't know what else to do. I hit the driver with my stick and I run inside where I asked them to call the Police then I asked somebody else to drive me home as I didn't feel safe.
NO SHOW FOR TAXI TO COFFS AIRPORT
Booked a taxi the day before for a 5:30am trip on 24/5/23 from my home to Coffs Harbour airport, to catch a flight to Sydney.
Received a text message confirming this booking with a reference number straight away. This also stated i could track the taxi in the morning.
NO TAXI ARRIVED, NO TRACKING OPTION. NO FOLLOW UP THRU THE DAY. JUST DISREGARD. Ended up driving to the airport and left my car in the car park.
If you are looking for a reliable, efficient and punctual service AVOID 13cabs EVERYTIME. 0/10 for service.
NO WONDER THERE IS UBER.

Badly let us down. Booked for airport never turned up. Driver accepted trp then didn't move for 15 mins. Called and they said he declined and no driver has been allocated?? Hugely let us down worst cab company ever. Do not ever trust them.

We are an age care facility and made two bookings to visit a day-care centre, one booking 9:45 Am and another 11:00 am. We were left waiting it was 10:00 am when I called them and asked the status, I was told that it will come shortly. at 10;15 we had to cancel our trip because we are on a tight schedule. (Our clients were very disappointed).
When I told your operator that I will be leave an unhappy review on your site, he laughed.
Also, many of your Taxi drivers do not take the taxi vouchers and are refusing to attend short distances unfortunately.

I was subject to Road rage by 2080M near a primary school in St Albans. As it’s a 40kms zone during school hrs this guy was tail gating me and even abused me by saying I’m a f b that I’m driving at 40 in front of a school and I should drive at 70kms according to a sign which was not even near the school.
Please avoids using 13Cabs as the drivers are really bad and road ragers.
Completely disturbed by my experience…
Completely disturbed by my experience tonight with 13 cabs. I have a young lad with severe disabilities and needing a wheelchair friendly taxi. After ordering the taxi at 4:30 (ON A WEEKDAY) I was left waiting for hours for a lift home when drivers failed to provide him with a lift. By 8pm there was still no sign of a driver and I was forced to find an alternative way home. Extremely inconsiderate and I do not recommend to use this company to anyone.

First off I have to say that our driver was polite and friendly and his vehicle was clean.
I placed an online order from Melbourne City to Airport for 0900 pickup for five passengers and I selected the maxi taxi.
Issues:
1. taxi arrived 20 mins beforehand and we weren't advised that higher rates are charged before 0900
2. an SUV was sent not a maxi taxi, for five adults this was not suitable as one of our party had to squash themselves in the jump seat meant for a small child
3. price - ended up $19 more than the trip from airport to city, expected more $ due to advance booking but not that much
3. no apology from company when contacted just usual "computer says no"!!
They did send an $18 digital pass.
Will I use them again - definitely not.

If I could give a zero I would. Do not use this company ever! My driver made me feel incredibly unsafe as a woman and even went on an anti-abortion rant out of nowhere. He purposefully drove slowly and even slowed down to 15km at traffic lights, waiting for them to go red. If he saw they weren't going to go red when he approached closer he would then speed up to go through them knowing he wouldn't be able to stop.
The icing on top is that I'm from another state, I told him I wasn't from the area, yet he still made me give directions and use my own GPS.
If I was to order an Uber it would of cost me $29. While I was beginning to order the Uber, the Taxi pulled up and I thought "hey, why not". That decision cost me $50 instead. When we arrived it was $46, but I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible, so I handed them a $50 note and said keep the change while I rushed out.

This was my first and last time
This was my first and last time. I called a maxi taxi for my client who is in a wheelchair. Didn't turn up. They called half an hour late and said we can't find anyone to pick you up. Very disappointed that a disabled person was out there waiting in the heat. How do you people run a business? You could have let us know before the pick up time so we could have found someone else. Won't be back ever.
Don’t bother with 13CABS because they won’t come
Booked a taxi online with 13CABS in Adelaide on 24/2/23 for 26/02/23 and they just didn’t bother to show up.
App said he was on his way but then it said that they were trying to find a taxi for us, so he either was coming and chose to take someone else or just was never coming.
We are late for our plane now- they are absolutely useless- don’t bother booking with them.
Catching a taxi from the airport on our way home (because they wait at the airport for pick ups like seagulls to a chip) and was advised that a driver can decide that he doesn't want to go to the job and just not show up. So my question is - How do you book a taxi and rely on them showing up when it is up to them?

Booked a cab in Brisbane the day before travel. Didn't turn up. Rang the number and they said cab in the next street. This happened twice before I rang back the third time and said dont hang up until this cab is in sight.. so late for flight. Thankfully they sent another arrogant driver.. told us everyone complains... never again will I use these cabs
Charged fee using app driver does not show and then the chase is on for a refund
I booked a taxi using the app, the driver does not show up after an hour, I notice the debit has hit my credit card. Finally managed to talk to an operator and arranged a new cab and was advised that the diver was a fault, and then after several calls the next day I finally managed to send an email with a copy of my bank statement (as requested) as proof. This is the response I received

Unfortunately due to understaffing , I do need to advise that this refund is not going to take place as quickly as we would hope. Our accounts team are experiencing staffing issues, and there is a possibility the delay could be upwards of 30 business days.
Please be assured that it is in the process and you will receive your funds, but unfortunately I cannot give you a time frame at this stage. This is just as frustrating for our team, but we do rely on our accounts team to do the processing on our behalf.
I will send you a email as soon I receive a response"
At the time of writing this review it has been 45 days and I still have not received the promised email or the refund.
It may be considered small change to some, but imagine how many people they do this to. Its a rip off, or fraud

What a joke
What a joke. Im in warnambool tryed to call a 13cab to go to tea. 30 minutes on hold. So motel owners supply me with a guy's number that was a private operator. He was at my motel in 5 minutes amazing service. As he was not available on the return i had to book a 13 cab. I've been waiting in the cold now fo thirty five minutes. Still no show. 😤😤
Called 13cabs is see what was going go to be told there is one cab to service the whole town. I think it is time for some competition in this town and i just night be the one to push it !!

Please if you are a female or vulnerable person DO NOT use 13CAB's.
• Returning from a work trip I came out of the arrivals to the Taxi Rank and took the first cab as per normal rank protocol
• When I walked up there were two other men by the driver door, a different man to my driver was sitting in the driver’s seat playing with the meter.
• The driver took my bag and put it in the boot, then the other two men got out of the taxi and spoke to my driver about the meter, I couldn’t hear what they said.
• I can only assume they had played with the meter, the normal fare from the airport to my house is never over $44-$50 and as I wasn’t looking during the trip (it was ~1.00am), when we got to my house it was $99.50.
• I told him I would not be paying the fare on the meter he got aggravated and said to pay the amount on the meter
• I refused telling him that a taxi to my house is never over $50, he then said – pay $60
• I again refused and said I would pay the normal fare of $50, I did not have cash so asked him to put it through eftpos
• He couldn’t work the eftpos machine and spent approx. 10 minutes playing with it – I started to feel uneasy. When I asked what the 13CABs number was he started getting upset and wouldn’t give it to me
• He didn’t have his name and taxi ID visible, I had to ask him to show me it, it was on the visor pushed down so it was facing out, he pushed it up so I could see it, I then snapped a quick photo of it
• The child locks were on so I couldn’t get out of the taxi.
• I said “I do not feel safe, please let me out so I can go and get cash, He didn’t unlock the doors at first, I don’t know if this was intentional or if he didn’t understand what I was saying as he could not speak english.
• I then raised my voice and told him to unlock the car and let me out, which he finally did after much yelling.
• I managed to get my suitcase and belongings, went inside and got cash and my dog
• I gave him $50 but he did not give me a receipt.
• When I got inside I called 13CABS booking line as there was no customer support number on their website
• The company’s response when I called them on the night was “I can’t take complaints or even compliments, call back Monday”.
I would not recommend 13CABS for females or vulnerable persons, while I know this is one driver, their system (phone or website) did not allow me to seek assistance or log a complaint at the time of this happening.
UPDATED: I called this morning to lodge a complaint and spoke with Prue for over 20 minutes. She then proceeded to put me on hold without explaining why. I then sit on hold for 10minutes, and then get a brand new person answer as if this is the first time I called. I asked to be put back through to Prue and said I did not want to have to reexplain the whole scenario again. To say he was unempathetic and rude is an understatement .. he went from zero to 100 and hung up. He was indicative of the chauvinistic unempathetic manner of this organization even after I told him I of my experience with the driver and my frustration. He insinuated I was being abusive, I hadn't even raised my voice. I called back and went through to Sydney, they did not know Prue and said they can't transfer calls and hung up. I then called back and got Brisbane, she at least found Prue, but transfered me to Melbourne. I have now been on a loop for 18minutes with "please hold while I transfer your call" at 30 second intervals. DO NOT USE 13CABS.
I work in Human Rights and as per the United Nations Guiding Principles it is a requirement of organisations to have an accessible grievance mechanism ... they fail at delivering this mandatory requirement. I will be taking this further.

Got taxi from airport to Carlton. Driver took a ridiculous detour through the city resulting in a $76 fare - we usually pay $60. Then he charged us another $16 for ‘luggage’. This company are unscrupulous thieves. Do not use them.

Paid in advance using the 13CAB app. I then had to pay the driver again as he had no record of the payment. I don’t necessarily blame the driver. Contacted 13CABS and after dodging and weaving all responsibility have refused to refund me after two months. Excuse after excuse with not enough payroll workers to do the refund. I have a new slogan for 13CABS…..”We’ll take you for a ride”.
Terrible driver - need to learn how to make a trip comfortable for your paying passengers
What a horrible ride home on Saturday. Picked up one of your cabs from The Crown after a wonderful dinner there. Felt so sick by the time we got home after the accelerate / cruise jerky driving. Like stop start stop start and most was on the freeway so not even in traffic. 80kmph limit but no, this driver also decides to sit on the tail of someone going 60kmph and it wasn't even as if he needed to be in that lane for the exit we were taking!
