Unacceptable service, structural defects, and zero communication

I ordered an Aspen shed for use as a garden room from C&S Sheds on 10/07/2026 after seeing them at the Ploughing the previous year. I paid a deposit and was promised a 4-week delivery time (07/08/2026). After delays, the shed was delivered on 10/09/2026 but it arrived completely missing its French doors and windows, which I was never informed of prior to delivery.

After being exposed to the elements, the shed being unusable and delaying other parts of the project, the windows and doors were eventually delivered and installed by the owner Alan on 25/09/2026 (conveniently after the Ploughing 2026 was over!). I paid him the remaining balance that day despite the severe delays and inconvenience.

After they left, I noticed severe quality issues: one window is installed completely off-centre and the right side of the garden room does not look straight including the drain pipe. I sent photos of the issues on 25/09/2026. I previously had issues with the gutter leaking and not being joined properly.

From my date of order, I have made 13 phone calls and sent multiple emails either following up on delays or trying to get issues fixed. Every time I call, I am told they have had "internal meetings" and will call me back. They never do. I have now been completely ignored by Alan and his team. All work on this project has been forced to a halt. I have now formally logged a report with the CCPC and will be left with no other option than to proceed with legal proceedings.

This company is completely untrustworthy, provides shoddy workmanship and lacks basic professionalism. They are incredibly quick to take your money, but they completely disappear the moment an issue arises. I deeply regret not reading previous reviews before engaging them. Protect your hard-earned money and avoid C&S Sheds at all costs.
