There needs to be monitoring of the…music played
There needs to be monitoring of the music played over the sound system(s). I feel these tracks have been selected by instructors. In recent nights, I have heard songs played which were not appropriate, referring to female genitals. I would advocate the club plays the selected playlists set by pure gym.

The cleaner in consett gym is so…
The cleaner in consett gym is so friendly and always working so hard - I think he needs more recognition if he doesn’t get it already
I don’t like how the showers doors are transparent I wouldn't use these at all - there should be a curtain blocking off the shower area from been in few as you can see people through the shower

Gym perfect only toilet
Gym perfect, only is problem with men toilet, toilet is together witch locker room and smell is teribble. Should bee Wall between and cheap ear refresh in wall automatic or ventilation toilet better.

Hidden reviews on google
I left a Google review online asking about the fact there isn't a cleaning station when they both advertise online and in the gym that they have at least 1, and have rules stipulating the equipment is wiped down. I had a response from the manager saying they wouldn't be providing one since COVID is over and it's damaging to the environment.
My review has then been flagged as spam or a fake experience and no one other than me can see it.
Also 3 out of 4 elliptical cross trainers have started coming loose on the right hand sides, so you can feel it wobbling from side to side as you are using it.

I find the gym it’s self and the…
I find the gym it’s self and the equipment absolutely fine , however the gym is way too busy at certain times . There have been occasions when I haven’t been able to train as what I needed was being used . The people using it knew I was waiting to use it and deliberately took their time , playing with phones instead of getting on with their training. So instead of going at that time , I found it quieter around midnight but it’s not ideal to be at the gym at that time . I have never had this problem at my previous gym and I’m probably going to go back to it . The staff seem friendly , but some of the people who use the gym are awful .

Staff are great, feel like there is no judgement in the gym and such a great mixture of diversity and background. After not attending a gym in years I now miss it if I can't go

Some machines out of action and needing…
Some machines out of action and needing fixed.
Staff not correcting form of clients which aids to injuries.
Very busy at times which means queues to get on machines.
However I like the fact you can you can check the app to avoid busy times which is useful.
Running machines are good.

Great but could be better should have…
Great but could be better should have blue roll dispenser’s & bottle spray’s to wipe over equipment after your finished !! Some people sweat and leave equipment soiled

PureGym prides itself on being able to offer state of the art fitness facilities to our members in a safe and welcoming environment. We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, with the reduced risk and in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to remove self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will also support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment.

I love this gym
I love this gym. All of the staff are friendly and really helpful if you ever need to ask them anything. Great equipment with a wide choice of machines. Great free weight section and good shower and changing facilities. Best gym I've been too

Fantastic facilities - limited class access
Fantastic facilities, friendly staff and intuitive app which lets you know how busy the gym is. If you are looking to utilise the classes on offer, you will have to upgrade to a plus account, as there aren’t any spaces for any classes left for basic members (not one space in the past 4 months)
