Only went because it was advertised as…
Only went because it was advertised as fully air coned but the air con wasn’t on. I spoke to the manager several times but he just insisted it was on when it clearly wasn’t. Very disappointed.

PureGym don't have control over parking pricing or fines because most of the car parks are owned by seperate external companies not associated with PureGym .
Many of our Gym's provide free parking if you validate your registration plate and parking at the tablets within the gym .
Please drop our Member Services team a message on (member.services@puregym.com) with your accurate email address, mobile number and DOB - So they can find your account and assist further.

Safety Concerns...
The gym is nice however despite there being several free weight bench press stations there is no facility to train on them alone safely as there are no safety bars available.
I contacted the gym and suggested they install some safety bars to the front outside of the power racks as they have in other pure gyms facilities but they have said they will not at this time.
I find this deplorably reckless particularly as the gyms 24/7 approach enables and encourages training alone. The bench press can and does regularly cause serious injury and there has even been examples of loss of life with the weight crushing and/or suffocating the victim.
Please if you do use this gym do not bench press alone the consequences are not worth the risk or use a gym with a better approach to safety. Quest Gym near-by on the same estate and Team Rees Gym in Trecenydd do have this safety available for training alone.
Update:
I have already spoken at length with PureGym member services and the local management about this situation and suggested instead them fitting safety bars and/or pins inside the three power racks.
But they have informed me there is nothing they can do as their updated equipment is now supplied by a third party who do not include any safety feature for the free movement bench press.
This is a serious accident waiting to happen. I reiterate please do not bench press alone if using this gym. Just a small flinch in your grip could end in tragedy!

I’ve had a a parking ticket for free…
I’ve had a a parking ticket for free parking this is beyond , absolutely gutted I’ve been a. Couple times and gonna have about £300 worth of parking tickets for something I wasn’t aware of it and was never made aware of it it is beyond and will be cancelling my membership.

Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to cancel such tickets.
Information regarding parking is available on the home page of any PureGym which offers parking. The correct parking procedures must be followed, to avoid a parking ticket.
We would always advise that you appeal the fine and explain the circumstances alongside your attendance log for the date in question; this will also be provided as proof to show you were in the gym.
If your appeal is rejected, we would suggest submitting a case with POPLA.
POPLA are an independent appeals process which works with the Ombudsman Service. They investigate whether this fine was issued correctly in accordance with the terms and condition of the car park; whilst reviewing evidence provided in the appeal. On the rejection notice, there should be a 10-digit verification code, and you will then be able to submit an appeal with POPLA via their website: http://www.popla.co.uk/poplaappealprocess.
Although we cannot guarantee they will cancel the fine, we do hope for a positive outcome. Thanks, PureGym.

Highly recommend
Highly recommend. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. If like myself are a complete novice to the gym then this is the place for you. Complete put me at ease the minute I walked in. I suggest you book induction to go through basics and if budget allows a PT once a week who also set out sessions for the week. The classes are also great. I’ve only tried yoga and boxfit so far. Personally yoga wasn’t for me but the box for absolutely amazing!! Lots of others to try too.

We do our very best to provide a wide range of classes, so that members have a variety of ways to workout and also do so, in a short amount of time, as we understand some members are crunched for time or just prefer shorter (but effective) workouts.

Caerphilly pure gym - nice layout, didn't feel uncomfortable at all when working out.
Only thing I would say is that the music needs to be much louder :)

Good to be back in the gym
If your like me and just want to be left to get on with your workout it’s great or if you need any help there is helpful staff to hand if you go in at reasonable time that is. It’s always clean. The only downfall is people not putting the weight plates back. But that’s down to the individuals to be fair.

easy joining process, music needed!
It was a very easy joining process, was entering the gym 5 mins after signing up. However the gym is very quiet and could do with much louder music, everyone could hear eachothers conversations which made it a slightly awkward atmosphere

Friendly atmosphere & supportive staff
Always felt intimidated at gyms. But PureGym Caerphilly has changed my opinion. This gym is welcoming & so supportive- the staff are very friendly and welcoming- I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.
