I had the pleasure of visiting the Venezianico booth at the Windup Watch Fair in New York last weekend, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. I’ve known the founders, Alessandro and Elena, for a while now, and they have always been absolute class acts—super welcoming and genuine. Elena was a delight to catch up with at the event.

I ended up purchasing two new watches on the spot, and the quality for the price is simply incredible. Most pleased with the quality and value for the money. I have purchased two wristwatches from Venezianico. These watches are high quality, arrived well packaged, came with documentation etc. They are a league on their own. I am at the moment looking at pulling the trigger on my 3rd watch from Venice. ;-)

I received the Nereide Aureo 42 mm, and what can I say? The quality is absolutely top-notch in every respect. I honestly don’t know how the guys do it, but their watches are the very embodiment of art. I often find myself just staring at the way the light plays across the watch for minutes at a time. Outstanding communication and excellent service!

Its not just the watches but the people behind this company that make it a truly memorable experience. I have just taken delivery of am Arsenale Ultrablack, and it is absolutely stunning. Both bracelet and strap wear incredibly comfortably, but the bracelet is something else. It is so well engineered, that I spend as much time admiring that as I do the face. As I said to Alessandro, it's been less like buying a watch and more like becoming a friend to a really lovely family, who just happen to make watches.

I started a conversation with Alessandro Morelli about a bronze watch. I settled and purchased the Nereide Bronzo 39. The box was very well packed, and it was more of a presentation when opening the watch box, it jad a classy sense and feeling. When I got the watch oit I have it a hard look over; everything about this watch screams excellent craftsmanship, quality and design. For a 39mm watch it wears very well and comfortable. I am going to Sea World in Orlando tomorrow so it will get its first ling wear day. I am planning on purchasing another Venezianico real soon. The delivery was actually a day early was was nice.
