Had a great experience buying my first car on finance, my account manager Alex got my finance arranged quickly and Matt at the dealership was quick and efficient when we collected the car.
They were also very understanding with me changing my collection date multiple times and turning up early to collect the car!
Super impressed with them all.

I love my new car! David L delivered it to me and was great…. He called an hour and a half before arrival, could answer every question I have about the car and put up with me being over excited! He explained all the documents and was generally a really nice, helpful man, thank David!!

Purchased a car over 3 weeks ago (which we're enjoying) but unfortunately still waiting for the initial £99 deposit to be returned. Customer service has been disappointing past initial purchase. Promises to return calls are unfulfilled.

Terrible company. This review is based on my son’s experience. We both bought cars from them and to be honest everything was fine for me but I really feel for my son. Issue 1 - When car arrived the bodywork was in poor condition. They took car back and had it fixed. He was without a car for 2 weeks. Recompense was £12 daily allowance for taxis but he would have to pay and claim back with receipts. He didn’t make a claim as the hassle he had to get car fixed was terrible. Issue 2 - When car was returned to him he inspected it with a fine tooth comb and discovered a nail in the tyre. After negotiating hippo agreed to get it sorted out. However due to my son been off work with an injury the car hasn’t moved much except for a few visits to doctors. He went to get it fixed but it is unrepairable and needs replaced. Hippo have refused to pay for a new tyre. Reason being is he has driven the car. This lead to Issue 3 - while car was away being fixed with issue 1 they had to take under plate off to get bumper off. However on 27th we decided to take a very short trip when there was an almighty clatter. On inspection the front of the underplate had become detached. It became very clear it had not been fixed correctly and completely destroyed the under plate which is now needing replaced. My son has emailed pics and spoken with Hippo who have refused to fix this issue. Bearing in mind he has a 3 month warranty they are refusing to take issues on board. My son has asked if a complaint could be raised and speak to a manager both of which have been refused and the matter closed by Hippo. Avoid avoid avoid.
