Rip off at it's finest
Purchase a car here and paid it off early in great standing. Company kept sending me offers to buy another car with 0 down. My current car needed a 2400 dollar repair so I decided to take them up on the offer as I didn't have 2400 at the time. Long story shirt I git a 2016 fiat that broke down in less than 90 days. I took it to a mechanic and it was an electrical problem that was deemed unfixable. Gap insurance doesn't cover electrical issues and they want me to pay for the tow 145 bucks? Oh yeah and they offer possible reimbursement for a rental. So I'm expected to pay the car not and for a rental that MIGHT reimburse me for? CRAZY! I TOOK OUT A 2400$ loan to have my car repaired. I don't recommend purchasing a car here at all.

Won’t Return
Little to no customer service. Very cashier at a grocery store type service: what do you want? Give me these documents. Wait for response. Sign this and go.
Didn’t offer water, wasn’t very friendly, didn’t know or offer any information about the vehicle, didn’t care to clean the vehicle on interior or exterior, only a half of tank of gas.
Out of the thousands of places you can buy a vehicle, you would think Drivetime would want to separate themselves from the competition.
The bank held me up for hours after I gave them everything and put down over 50% of the car cash and have a good credit score with nothing in collections or pending..
Honestly it’s no surprise the sister company Carvana laid off thousands of employees recently.. I can see the same basic business practices here at Drivetime.
On a positive note: they sold me a solid vehicle.
Will I return for other car buying needs or recommend using Drivetime to any of the many people I know?
No I will not.
The people are ok they just lack salesmanship and skill.
